It's been a very long time since I've been to a Cracker Barrel. I thought I would give it a try for breakfast.I had the Grandma Sampler. The eggs were made just right. The pancakes were okay, not very fluffy. The maple syrup was on point. As for the meats that came with the sampler. The best was the bacon, it was cooked to perfection, it also had a good flavor. The ham was on the tough side. I didn't like the sausage patty, too smoky tasting to me.I also had the hash browns and they were good.I thought it was strange that they brought me a small carton of milk, rather than a glass. The people were really friendly and helpful.Would I return, probably not. I would rather support a local diner.Parking: A very large parking lot.

We stopped for breakfast, and we were pleasantly surprised at the warm atmosphere and inviting dining room. The service was great, and the food was very tasty. They had a huge fireplace with a toasty warm fire going, and we were tempted to stand in front of it for awhile. All in all, glad we stopped in.2 people, big breakfast, around $50 including tip. Recommended.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly!

Staff and service were great.. food was fair. Menu says fresh strawberries, but they were mushy and gross. I was not expecting whip cream on my french toast. It would have been ok if it wasn't drowning in it. The biscuits were like yummy warm fluffy clouds, lol. I recommend the pecan syrup from the Beignet appetizer. If you walk around the shop, you will definitely buy something.

Cracker Barrel is known for it's store of things of the past and local memorabilia. Plus it has great foods found at home. This one was no surprise it has great service from our waitress Joni and great meal served hot, at least for the wife. She had the country fried steak while I had the house salad, man I Love that Dill Pickle Ranch Dressing! it is great.

Though the restaurant was busy our server kept a smile on her face and focused on her customers. She was very calm and pleasant, brought our orders to our table quickly, and didn't miss a single special request! She checked back with drink refills in a timely manner and suggested dessert options. Our food was delicious and portions were large enough to allow us to take home a bit for later. The menu prices were reasonable. I believe we may be addicted to their biscuits! Of course The Store is always fun and we never leave without finding some terrific "Country Store" items to purchase. We return every chance that we get and wish we had a Cracker Barrel closer to home!Parking: Our issue is regarding handicapped parking. Handicap parking is sufficient normally but on weekends there just isn't enough available.

Had an order delivered, that was very well done. However, the food left a little to be desired. Mashed potatoes and gravy and carrots were delicious. Roast beef, not so. Sliced very thin, probably about 1/4" and tough as a boot. Nothing like the roast beef used to be. Very disappointed in the meal for the price I paid.Parking: Don't know. Meal was delivered.

It was a very speedy seating. The food was really delicious and was placed on table very quickly. Our waitress even went as far as talking to the Cook to see if she could get carrots that they were waiting on for one of our lunches. Of course she pulled through and accomplished that. To me that's really going above and beyond. I noticed while we were sitting that there was a veteran in the restaurant. We bought his and his wife lunch. I wanted to go talk to him but he was eating and I didn't want to be rude. So I spoke to our waitress about picking up his tab. She brought us their Tab and we paid for it without any glitch. Our waitress, Abigail, was on her game. I would suggest a raise. At least bring it to her revised on her next race. She was a great person, she was Speedy at what she did with all politeness. I would see just her for any waitress. Thank you Abigail!Parking: There is a very large parking lot for this restaurant. We had no trouble parking at all.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere at this restaurant is not only adult friendly it is kid friendly too! Would have no trouble taking any toddler or kid here.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking, wheelchair accessible sidewalk and double doors for making it a very wheelchair accessible.

Hostess tried to sit us at a very small table and I asked if we could have a bigger table. She got snippy with me and said I should have asked at the podium. How was I to know where she was sitting us. She gave us a table that was better but tucked in a corner next to the kitchen. Our waitress was sweet, kind and prompt and very polite. She made up for the hostess. Our food was delicious. We left happy and left a very nice tip , our waitress visited and made my evening.

I went to CB with a friend to have an early dinner. I ordered the old timers breakfast. The eggs were overcooked, bacon was fatty and raw, hash brown casserole was greasy, corn bread was overcooked, looked burnt. I asked the server Taylor B to correct my order. She came back with flashed fried bacon, eggs semi-hard, not over medium, and the same greasy hashown casserole. I had to ask for my gravy and I told to share my friends gravy... Seriously, when I asked to see a manager she rolled her eyes at me in disgust! A man came out from the kitchen, not the dinning room, floor manager. He was polite and told me he was sorry. It was the worst experience and the food was awful. I paid $27.43 for my friend and I. I will never, never eat at CB Effingham again. Sorry, was not good enough... It showed that customer service is not a priority to your establishment!

Good food, great service. Very nice staff. The management should allow Abby to bring in her dog to clean up the floor so she doesn’t have to spend an hour doing it and she can take a much deserved break. Customers would also appreciate the puppy running around.Parking: They let us park our RV there overnight, which was great because we had been driving for 12 hours and needed to just eat and go to sleep and that is what we did. There were a couple of other RVs parked there as well. Thank you so much.

I ordered a Barrell Burger and Macaroni, it was good. My husband had the Friday night fish fry and he said it tasted like it was fried in old oil and had been made for a while. We ate at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2/2/2024.Parking: large parking places make it wonderful.

We were seated right under the ceiling fans. We asked our waitress to please turn the fans off because it was freezing in there. She told us that she could not turn off the fans because it would get too smoky in there from the fireplace, but the fireplace was not even going when she said that. Everyone around us was complaining about how cold it was in there. We were miserable.Parking: No trouble finding a parking

Love going to Cracker Barrel, the service here is usually really good, there has only been a few times when things weren't fast but it wasn't a super long wait, although sometimes we come in and they tell us a 50 minute wait and we just go to another place but that's really any restaurant that everyone frequents, very good food and awesome storeVegetarian options: You can get veggies and fruits/yogurt/ ask for substitutionsDietary restrictions: You can ask for substitutionsParking: Lots of parking along with rv parkingKid-friendliness: They hand out crayons and they have the peg game at the tableWheelchair accessibility: Quite easy to navigate through and big entry doors

This is generally a great place to stop with kids and adults. The food is consistently good and the menu is varied. The attached store is always fun to browse with and kids love walking through it. Our waitress was great and the food came out very quickly. It is a slight bit off the road, but the signs are easy to follow.
