This was a wonderful time with the family. Fishing was kinda slow, I heard they have a lot of fishing tourneys here, may be the reason or my inexperience.. The cabins were clean, the beds are horrible but who's sleeping right.... lol. My wife caught her first, the biggest and the last fish... my boys caught fish also..me not at all,( helping wife and kids). We all had a great time, came during the week so it wasn't that busy. Friday came and so did the congestion and noise. All and all we will be back. Front desk ladies are helpful and nice. Would highly recommend.

What A joke! Bad business practice. Beware if you book here and need to cancel, this place will steal your money, claiming to have a 45 day cancellation policy to get a refund! They charged us full price and had the room booked with another guest for the same date I had to cancel. Greed is the best word to describe their business. The resort lost no money by our cancelation, they TRIED TO MAKE DOUBLE! Thankfully our credit card company refunded us the entire amount. After speaking to Sandy several times and her hanging up on us, we disputed the charges. No, I would not recommend reservations at this resort period. 😒

We are getting ready to go there for our fifth stay. We meet our son and his wife there because of locations. They live in St louis we live in Indy, our experiences have been good. As you can tell by our 5th time. However being in retail for over 36 years myself and dealing in customer satisfaction i bet when we get there they will not remember us. And if they do the owners are just not that friendly but,we like there lodge and I'm giving them 4 stars ✨ five next tome maybe we will see how this 10 day trip goes. I recommend Anthony Acres but it needs a little more hospitality..

Overall, this is a cool place to stay. The lake, however, has an odd set of restrictions. It took some fun out of the trip.Pros:Friendly staff.Cozy places (stayed in 1, 2, 3).Friendly people staying there.Beautiful view.Free firepits and bags.On-site boat rentalCons:Beach access is a little gross/needs care.Inadequate kitchen accessories.Lake restrictions.Boat rental in rough shape.I would suggest Anthony Acres post the lake rules prominently on their website to help stave off any future disappointments from patrons expecting a different experience.

Have been having our family reunion there for over 40 years. We have watched Anthony Acres grow over the years. Some cabins are in need of renovations! Do not book the one bedroom units unless you know the people on both sides of you. Especially 17A and 21A. Another large party were booked on both sides of us in both units and they were very loud, partying every night and one night until 3am. Since the units share back decks, there is no way to escape the noise! It’s unfortunate the managers don’t put the same families of the large groups together in adjoining units! We will stay elsewhere in the future and visit for the day.

I come here every year with my family and have been for as long as I can remember. The "cabins" are like small apartments with 2 rooms, bathroom, dining/living room, and a kitchen with the usual stuff in the kitchen (stove, oven, sink, microwave, and silverware). The main hub, the place where you check in, has a kinda convenience store, and has a little hangout room with a tv, couch, Addams family pinball machine, and bathroom. I love coming here every year because the fishing is amazing and the people that love on the lake are pretty cool when you go by them on a boat. There is also a beach and a dock for each room. If you are looking for a place to take the kids on an overnight trip for 2 or 3 days, this is an excellent place to take it.

We are here at Anthony Access Resort it's amazing . Our first time here and we are loving it . We love the beautiful lake and friendly people . Our room is nice and cozy and very quiet .Yes ! Of coarse we are going to return and enjoy it again . We are blessed to be able to enjoy it .

Had a great time there this weekend, but for the price there should be at least matching silverware in each unit and also a coffee maker in each unit that works!Rooms: The rooms are comfortable but the kitchen utensils and appliances are terrible! Our coffee maker worked but our sisters in the next room did NOT! Would it be to much to ask to have matching silverware in each unit?

2nd year we stayed there in a row went to rebook and was treated like 2nd rate citizens said they "might"have something available but they have to check with other people first. So we're ready to book now and pay but maybe something better will come along. Rooms were small could hardly walk around the bed, cobwebs in the corners, shower so small you can't bend your leg to wash the bottom of your feet. Won't be back!Found a house for $5 more a night.

The beds were perhaps the most uncomfortable in my life. Lumpy and felt like they were made of straw. The Futon may have had enough dried bodily fluids all over it to suggest a movie was made on site. The lake is nice but don’t sleep there.

My family has been coming here for years, and we show no signs of stopping. The staff is beyond helpful, the cabins are accomadating, but could definitely use some appliance upgrades. Great stay, per usual.

The beds are terrible, the kitchen has random amounts of items, like some have measuring cups others do not. Some have one knife and they are REALLY dull. The staff is terrible to work with. They mess up reservations and then blame the other employees. It was terrible.

The grounds were pretty nice. The rooms were very close to the water, and the docks were in good shape. The insides of the rooms could use a little more attention, but was overall decent.

My room had Dead bugs everywhere. The bed springs made it very difficult to sleep I couldn't wait to check out of the room. Check out is at 11:00am. I checked out at 11:25am and they charged me $100.00 for checking out 25 minutes late.
