Employees always willingly helpful at this location. Last time I stopped in to get a drill driver kit and the gentleman went out of his way to help me pick out the best option for what I was hanging and assembling, and tonight I went to pick up hanging flower baskets for my deck and they helped me with more than just my questions and offered advice and even told me I could bring in my perennials that didn’t make it from last year for my money back if I wished. All of this service both times on it being less than an hour from close, which was a positive. I did not get any names but all the staff I’ve ever encountered at this location always seem to be happy to help. I will definitely be back soon in the future for my upcoming home projects.

I don't know what the Home Depot does to keep their people So happy!!I've been in several of them throughout several states. Are they robots??I definitely feel better about the pricing and the availability of most things I'm looking for at a Home Depot 😀😁😁😄Currently I am in Illinois.

Waited all day for a delivery to arrive that never did. I had to call the store 2 times to be told they would look into it and get back to me. Never heard back. Texted the pro and was told the notes from the store didn't say much about the delay or why it never arrived. So basically no communication from the store is my biggest issue here. With that being said I'm not going to be making anymore purchases from this company, just from the customer service standpoint. Why have an app and a delivery time if it's not what is going to delivered.Why isn't there a better system in place for communication between the company and the individual?

Issues with home appliances delivery, not the store itself.Bought a very large fridge that would not fit unless the doors came off and the first delivery that happened and the fridge had issues with the water and icemakers so they came back and picked it up and would not deliver the new replacement because of having to remove the doors so we had to go purchase a smaller fridge that the doors didn't have to come off. We had to go two weeks without a fridge because of the problems with the fridge not coming in and they didn't even notify us that it wasn't coming so it was just a waste of a day off sitting waiting on a fridge that wasn't showing up.The delivery manager told the delivery guy on the phone not to take the doors off the fridge again even though the store said it was their job.The first fridge was defective but they just didn't want to do the extra work and take the doors off to move it in.Forgot to mention was getting error code ff e which is freezer fan error as well.

Self checkout completely shut down. One person on register. Long line. 3 employees watching from return desk. No initiative. Just standing there watching customers. Last time. Never again.

Hit and miss on who going to help, but those that do are stellar. The older guys are really helpful. The younger guys behind the desk are jokey jokey with each other looking at you. The females get it seem about business.

Worst shopping experience i have ever encountered. Originally came to finalize a flooring order that had been recently quoted. When I arrived there were multiple associates walking around in flooring or on their computers in flooring and everyone either went out of their way to not assist me or laimed they couldn't help me and didn't know who could. An associate named Lindsey was sitting at the desk. The customer service was so atrocious that I called the actual flooring g department and looked at the phone ring right next to her and she just looked at it until it stopped ringing. Asked for a manager and ended up waiting for 40 minutes ad wasn't assisted. Will be taking my business to the one in Collinsville from now on.

Wow. Clean, well stocked. Friendly employees....Home Depot should have been like this years ago before Lowes came on the scene. I found the standard selection of products. Christmas trees and Santas were set up and ready to sell sell sell. The plants looked healthy.

I am a veteran and expect to be able to show my ID and get the discount they offer but the last 6 times I went in their discount database is not working and they refuse to give the discount even though you have VA card for proof. Also hard to find knowledgeable employees.

We had loaded a lot of wood on push cart. Go to check out and and instead $5.24 each they were $19.00 each. Turned into a prob.for us. Workers were great though.

I returned a can of paint purchased here that didn't spray. A week later I bought more of the same exact can color to find yet again another can that didn't spray. Upon returning the can I marked it to find that as opposed to discarding the non working can it was just put back into shelf stock for someone else to buy. Something so simple yet this store was incapable of doing the right thing. This is a perfect example of what should be done but wasn't. This is why people shop at Lowe's and Menard instead of your company

Using the Home Depot app while in the store, we order a bottom freezer refrigerator. It was going to be an earlier delivery date.The (2 day) Monday delivery date versus 7 to 10 days.The store did help with this option. She also suggested to purchase the 5 year extended warranty plan when we ordered online.

Bought a swing set from here. Then they call and say that they're canceling the order because they can't deliver that swing set to the address we provided.How? Could they not just tell us that in the store? We gave them all of the info there. We paid for it already. How can we not have that swing set delivered to our address?So we ordered another. We asked if they would deliver to the backyard. They assured us they would.Nope.They left it in our driveway. No knock. No doorbell. No notification it was even delivered. Just in my driveway.This was after they scheduled delivery for one day earlier, cancelled without telling me, and then pushed it back another day. Great, I found someone to be at my house that day and they were there all day, but good to know that was wasted effort.Don't bother.

Aisles are always full of stock and are typically impassable. I would expect this when stocking, but this was during prime operating hours. Items clearly put their by associates and not customers.

I am doing a painting project at home, and I chose the Behr brand paint carried by Home Depot. They have a large selection of colors/shades to choose from. This made finding the perfect color for my project easy. I also like the quality of Behr paint.

Do not buy trees from the Edwardsville location or any Home Depot for that matter. They say you have a one year warranty on them however if you wait over 90 days they will only give you store credit. We planted the trees last spring they died in the fall evidently because this spring they did not come back out. When I tried to take them back they only gave me a store credit because it had been more than 90 days since the sale. That has no reflection on a one year warranty. Save yourself time and hassle digging up dead trees that you already dug to plant and go to a respectable nursery.

Recently, I visited the Glen Carbon, Illinois Home Depot store. I believe I visited on the afternoon of Monday, September 12, 2022.Upon entering, an older gentleman immediately asked me what I was looking for and pointed me towards the department. Upon getting to the paint department, though busy, Doc made sure to direct me to the appropriate paint for my deck. He was very knowledgeable.Both men were professional and approachable. It is my sincere hope that someone can pass on my appreciation to them.
