The LaBest counter girl, Katie, took my wife and I on a tour of their facilities. I saw clean kennels, dogs with fresh water, very clean play areas. There were two outdoor play areas, a doggie daycare arena size room, a row of kennels with outside runs. . . the entire facility smelled like a mild pleasant disinfectant. I didn't see a dog mess anywhere, especially in the kennels.Our visit was unannounced. The staff was friendly. We have a history with LaBest - years ago, our dogs Bart and Ginger visited frequently and received excellent care. You can judge a kennel by the enthusiasm (or lack thereof. . . ) your dog displays. Our dogs used to bounce all over the inside of the car when we neared Indian Hills Road.It's the same place! The price seems reasonable. The staff was excellent. The facility was very clean. The doggies appeared happy and well-cared for.Yes, we'll be taking our grand dog, Archie, to LaBest in the future. We've had good experiences in the past - I expect we'll have good experiences in the future.Thank you Katie for the tour last Monday!

We dropped off our sons dog at LaBest on Thursday and we (my wife and I) were told that we could pick up him up between the hours of 1p-1:30p or 5p-5:15p on Sunday (when we returned from our trip). We returned Sunday at 1:20pm and no one was present. Knocked on the door, with no answer, and called multiple times and left messages. My wife returned first thing on Monday morning. She received the dog, the dog bed (which he had destroyed), and the dog blanket (which had been urinated on). When she inquired about not being able to pick up our dog on Sunday she was told, “There was nothing in the notes so no one was there to meet” her. When asked why no one returned the messages my wife made from the phone calls, she was told, “Nobody’s here to man the phone on Sunday’s,” even though we were told to call any time. Unimpressed, especially with the solid reputation they have had in the past. Won’t return.

Love it here!!! This was the first time we boarded our german shepard. The staff was fantastic, very nice and welcome you to call to check on your pet. I will comeback again. They made me feel comfortable leaving my baby there. Thanks Paige for being so helpful!!

The next day after my cats groom session which they didn't even bathe him he wouldn't move or let me move him with meowing in pain they must have been rough with him. He didn't move or eat this hasn't happened before. Hopefully they are gentle with their kittya

My dogs stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and overall it was a bad experience. When booking, they couldn’t give clear answers on pricing. When the dogs are there they charge for every little thing they can (including giving them medication that you provide). When the dogs were picked up they over charged us by $100, which was eventually refunded, however, we asked 3 times for a receipt and still have yet to get one. No one seems to know what they are doing or what is going on. Don’t waste your time going here.

My pit bull just had her nails done here for the first time. They said she was perfect. I asked about classes and training and they were very informative and gave me a pamphlet with all the information. They also sized a gentle leader on her. They even had it in my favorite color! I will be returning every 4-5 weeks for great nail trims!

Our pet Aiko had a lovely time. I would suggest creating a program that we could pay for allowing parents to see their pets through cameras at all times or doing video calls daily.This helps with those that have disabilities but must leave their service animals for special occasions.The programs here are incredible.

Our Lola loves coming here. She took their classes, which was helpful for us as owners & the dog. She loves coming to the monthly parties & she has lots of friends there. They do a great job grooming her as well. She always comes home exhausted! The staff is very friendly & they know each dog by name. I always feel that Lola is safe & surrounded by people that care about her.

I have two poodles, Cooper and Sophie. Cooper is a large high energy boy and I appreciate all the extra patience and time they give him during the grooming process. The grooming is excellent and my dogs always look gorgeous after a spa day. Both have attended obedience classes taught by Debbie and it’s obvious as a trainer she knows how to handle and train a dog. I highly recommend all their services!!

I took my new rescue Sammy to La Best for training and they were AMAZING!!!! Sammy was so scared of other people and after one session he is doing so much better! The day care services are great, everyone there is so kind and they truly care. They take the time to get to know your pet.

Nice place that seemed to care about pets. However, they said my baby's nails needed to be trimmed even though she had just been groomed. It cost $20 extra and whoever did it was not experienced. They were cut into the quick and now my baby won't even let me touch her feet. She is now constantly licking them.

The best pet resort I have ever worked with. On my dog's first day there she was very full of anxiety. The staff realised this immediately and began working with her. By the end of the week she was dragging me into daycare to see all of her new friends. It has been a real blessing for her and our family. I can not begin to say enough good things about this place.

Best boarding facility!! Staff is super friendly and accommodating. My dog was well taken care of, came home super happy. Definitely recommend to anyone searching to get their dog boarded.

Recently had a terrible experience with this business. When dropping off my dog to be boarded for a long weekend, the office had lost the reservation I'd made (and put a deposit down for) earlier in the week. Re-entering the information into the system took 40 minutes and caused me to miss my train and delay my trip by three hours. When I called to complain, I was treated with hostility and the business took absolutely no responsibility for their mistake.When I picked up my puppy on the following Monday, he'd developed a terrible cough. He's always been in perfect health, and he literally struggled to breath at times for several days after. All pets are supposed to provide vet-validated health documentation prior to being boarded, but that policy is clearly not being upheld.Beyond that, the bill was more than $50 over the rate I'd been quoted on the phone! Do not trust LaBest with your business. You and your pet will regret it.

I've never done the mobile grooming, my dogs don't require much in grooming. But... this is the ONLY place I take my fur babies for boarding, training, daycare and toenails. Deb and her staff LOVE your animal as much as you do! They make sure they are well taken care of, get the attention they need. My two dobermans love the daycare and the training has been excellent. Plus Deb will pull you aside, call you or mention to you little things that she sees may help with whatever situation you are in, etc. I am SOOOO glad I found La Best! Especially since I am soon taking a 10-day vacation - and I won't have to worry about my Dobes at all! Give them a call, take a tour... tell them Tara sent you! They will know who it is! :-)

Just picked up my mini aussie Murphy from being groomed he looks so good thank you all so much! I would recommend them to anyone needing a dog grooming this is his second trip and very satisfied on the job well done. He smells so good to 😊

Debbie and Hannah came to our house on March 16, 2017. They were so helpful with our dog Roscoe! We practice the behavior lessons every day; we are not perfect but we are doing better. I look forward to taking Roscoe to LaBest for more instruction. I definitely would recommend to anyone for them to go to LaBest Pet Resort!

We took our blind cat up to La Best for grooming. He had mats on his back end and wouldn't let us get them out. Toni was his groomer and we were very impressed with her. Being blind, all the noises were really scaring him and he was lashing out but she took the time to figure out how best to work with him and get what he needed done. He was a very hard client today and she was patient and kind to him. He is our baby and we would trust him to Toni again.

Friendly staff. My dog loves coming here and gets a frozen doggie treat. Place is very clean. I get my dogs nails trimmed. Kinda expensive for over nite boarding but, in my opinion it's worth it knowing he's safe and happy. Also love the doggie daycare.

This place is great! I don't understand how anyone could ever write a bad review of LaBest. I have taken my American Bulldog (Clyde) there for classes, therapy, and nail trimming and I've NEVER had a bad experience there. Deb and her people are awesome. Clyde even perks up when we pull in the parking lot and is excited to be there.

Extra charge… get use to hearing thatTaken my dog there several times bc it is close to the house and somehow the always add fees. Today it was (mind you they have trimmed my dog's nails over 15 times) - extra fee for trimming bc someone had to hold her. I was there. I stayed for the appointment in the waiting room - I could have held her. What a joke!

My labradoodle and Pomeranian have never looked so good!!!! My labradoodle has very curly hair and no groomer has ever taken the time to brush her and groom her properly, the other groomers have always just shaved her down but with this groomer she is gorgeous and fluffy and the same with our little Pomeranian. Highly recommended, bravo!!!!!

I have been bringing my dogs here for more than 20 years. I have used them for boarding, grooming and doggie daycare. My dogs love it there. As soon as I turn onto Indian Hills Drive they have there nose glued to the windows of the car. Once I get them out of the vehicle in the parking lot, they literally drag me into the building.

We have been using this groomer for the past year and a half for our dog Bruce. We have had multiple instances where we felt the service was much less than professional, yet we still went to them hoping it was just a fluke. What happened today is the last straw! Today, 5/15/18, Bruce was dropped off around 8-9am and we were told we would be called when he was ready. 4:30pm, which is their out time, rolls around and still no word, so we go to pick him up and are told “Oh sorry, we started bathing him but we were it of shampoo and had to re-bathe him, he will be ready at 5:30.” Fast forward to 6pm and we pull up to see all the employees leaving and started to lock the doors. Never once did we receive any kind of phone call to let us know what was happening with or dog. When we told them we needed our dog and were upset about this whole situation the girl working replied with “there’s only so much I can do.” They didn’t offer to give us any kind of discount, but when asked about getting one due to the service we recieved they comped the $80 that they charge(the only good part of this experience) The last issue we had with them was a two maybe 3 months ago, we dropped him off at 8-9am like always and 3 hours after being dropped off we recieved a phone call asking when/if we were dropping Bruce off! They had completely FORGOTTEN about him. We were told that Debbie will call us when she gets back into town, but it’s to late for that. We will not be returning customers anymore.EDIT: Now that we have been home for a couple hours we’ve been able to take a closer look, it’s also clear that they did a rush job to get him “ready to be picked up.”

My dog loves it and I love it. GREAT prices. He goes nuts when we pull onto Indian Hill. My one and only complaint is sometimes I don't receive the Report Card I ask for and I wish they were more detailed on it.... but it is free so its not a big deal i guess. I would recommend!

Very friendly staff. They do a fairly decent job of grooming, but I feel they are a bit overpriced when compared to local competitors. We always get hit with a charge for matted hair on our dog, and we never feel like he is matted when he goes in.
