A very nice small grocery store with a great meat counter connected to the best landscape supply source in the area. Everything from top soil to trees as well as plants and other landscape products.I needed som shade grass seed and found it in the bulk barrels allowing me to purchase only what I needed.

Purchased 4 ton of rock from St Peters location and had it delivered. Found a note on my rock pile that said to hose dirt off of rock. I called the manager and she said it was normal to have dirt in rock but how much dirt is normal. I think I received 2 ton of rock and 2 yards of dirt. Used water like it was suggested and now had a big muddy mess. DO NOT BUY YOUR ROCK FROM JOE'S. I will be getting my rock elsewhere from now on.UPDATE Was contacted by Joe's Market Basket and discussed problem. They were concerned with quality of product we received. We worked out a very satisfactory solution. Nice to see the concern for customer satisfaction.

Best deli sandwiches in town made fresh while you wait or you can call and order ahead. Everything is fresh and very tasty. Meat department is fantastic too. Ordered a turkey for Thanksgiving and it was so nice having a thawed turkey ready to go instead of a frozen solid turkey you have to mess with thawing. Thier meat is great too. I often buy steaks, suffed chicken or kabobs for weekend grilling.

I really appreciate having alternatives to the bigger box stores in town. This places is great for a quick stop. I like the hot bar & my husband says that the folks at the butcher counter know what they're doing:)

Oh my heck!!!! This place! We've been visiting a tattoo shop nearby for 3 years and only recently discovered this wonderful market. As my Wife said, "This is what a hometown super market is supposed to be." I dare you to find a deli or meat department within a hundred miles that can rival these. You really need to see it to understand. It's not a 1.5 acre superstore. But it's plenty big enough. Also, make sure to check out the green house. That's not a typo, they have a green house. Highly Recommend

Fantastic nursery. The butcher shop is awesome. I've never got a bad cut of meat there. The deli is huge and the hot food is made to order. Big portions. The gyro is delicious. You'd think there was someone walking around spraying Windex- it's that authentically Greek.

I walked in to the wrong store by accident trying to pick up a DoorDash or from the edible business next door in the ladies behind the deli just laughed at me instead of telling me hey you're at the wrong store very unprofessional

I LOVE Market Basket! I have been shopping there for years and I have always been impressed with the quality of the meats, the deli, and the service.The meat selection is amazing. They have awesome steaks and great burgers. The rotisserie chicken is juicy and flavorful, and the deli sandwiches are made to order.Last year I bought a tree for my front yard from Market Basket and it is thriving.The staff at Market Basket is always friendly and helpful. The free loyal program is worth signing up for.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Wheelchair-accessible entrance is a plus. Very fresh veggies and deli. Went in for bologna and left with a full basket! Not the place to shop if you are sooper price conscious, but are looking for quality. Saying that, great wine prices, tho!

This is our favorite place to purchase a live tree. They hang them up so you can rely see what the tree looks like. We also like their meat selection at their butcher counter.

High quality and well thought out selection of items to choose from, from their deli department to their shelf stock. Garden department has the best quality and widest variety of items as well. Friendly staff. Alway happy to stop by and pick up a few needed items. Their loyalty program is another reason to go back. Glad they’re a part of our town!

Jerry brought my trees and planted them quickly after he had already put in a full day. I couldn’t be happier with the process from the selection to the tagging and reassurance the trees (4 arborvitae and 1 pine) would be well taken care of. Shout out to the guys in the outside office. Fantastic experience start to finish. Highly recommend Jerry for your tree planting!

This afternoon my boyfriend and I decided to go to Market Basket to get elephant ears and eucalyptus not knowing if they had it, along with other herbs and veggies.I called from the parking lot to ask if they had eucalyptus or the elephant ears. The woman on the phone, Kelly explained they did, she could hold them for me if I’d like.I told her I was in the parking lot. She suggested to meet and helped show me the kinds of each plant they had.She went above and beyond and was super kind, very helpful and super knowledgeable. It was a really great experience and I just wanted to say thank you!

Beautiful greenhouse selection.. Houseplants, Annuals, Perennials, trees, shrubs, and a good amount of accessories for them all! Wonderful staff. Inside the store is great, it always smells delicious in there. Fresh meats, fresh food, really nice selection of wine. The only grocery store actually in Edwardsville. Definitely worth stopping by, you’ll want to visit again!!

It's a cool store. Some products aren't cost effective. I like their plant selection and the pots are all incredibly visually appealing. They're worth the cost. I'd recommend it for some products. I wish they carried more native plants - maybe partner with a local grower.

This is a really nice store to shop especially when you don't wanna deal with the EXTRA long line. Employees there are nice and polite and they have fresh sandwiches you can have cold or grilled, fresh salad bar and fresh premium deli meat+ fresh baked bread
