I got a peanut butter & vanilla cake for my pug's 13th birthday. She loved the cake. The staff at the shop were fantastic. They were excited for me to see the cake & It was perfect. Highly recommend paying them a visit.

I bring my golden boy here for his grooming and cookie treats. Katie at the Edwardsville store does fantastic with my dog! I never have any complaints after getting him groomed! Love that he comes back with a cute bandana as well lol. Also love the dog cakes from here, had one specially ordered came out awesome!

A birthday cake was ordered for my dog two days before his birthday. The afternoon after the cake was ordered, I received a phone call from the business saying my order was not processed and the cake would not be made as I did not pay for the cake when the order was placed. I have ordered lots of cakes from Four Muddy Paws and have always paid when placing the order. When I asked the lady that took my order if I needed to pay over the phone, she assured me I could pay when I picked up the cake. WRONG! 24 hours after placing my order, the business called and said no cake until payment was received, and even if I paid over the phone, the cake probably wouldn’t be ready until Thursday - a day after the birthday. I am very disappointed that Four Muddy Paws failed to make this right. They waited 24 hours to callme and failed to offer a solution to get the cake delivered as ordered. Due to no fault of his own, Sculpin celebrated his 8th birthday with a delicious McDonald’s geese burger. He was happy. And that is all that matters.

I usually don’t leave reviews on places, especially negative but I’m very sad about my experience here. The place itself was very convenient and loved the set up & everything for the self-wash bathing area for the dogs! I learned about how you can take your new pup that you adopted in here for a free wash (as long as you show your adoption paperwork & it’s within 3 months) gave my pup a bath & everything was great! Until I got home and realized he was biting himself and I saw a bunch of bites on him & discovered he now has fleas. :( I don’t want this to happen to anyone else, & I’m very sad because I thought I found a new place that I’d take him for his monthly baths.

Best little dog secret in town. Looks small from the road and you most likely have passed it a few hundred times without noticing. Awesome pet store, far better than the big stores with everything you could possibly need for your little friend. They have grooming and a super convenient self grooming stations that is awesome right after a visit to the dog park, and for a good price too. Easy parking, awesome homemade treats, and a little bench you can sit at outside with your buddy. Only thing missing was an outdoor trash can. Highly recommended!

Katie does the absolute best job on my Goldendoodle! She always takes her time and gives my girl all the loves while grooming her. She sends me pictures and communicates with me throughout. I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with other groomers in the past and Katie is hands down the best in the area! I’ve been bringing my doodle here since January regularly and my girl loves going to Katie which gives me so much relief to know she’s getting taken care of and walks out with the cut I ask for every time!Picture below of one of the photos i’ve received in the past during her spa day!

I've been a steady customer of their Edwardsville store for two years now and I can say the service and product offerings are as good as their flagship store in STL.The variety of dry and moist foods for both canine and feline is impressive. If you're wanting to change up your fur-babies diet, talk with one of the sales associates and they'll be able to guide you to one or more of their offerings.They can even help you find the perfect bag of treats to make your best friend a happy snacker.My dogs are so spoiled they have their own closet in between the kitchen and laundry room. It's filled with different bowls, leashes, collars, dry and moist food and a variety of treats. I'm pleased to say, it all came from Four Muddy Paws. They're the best when shopping for your best friend.

I ordered a Dog birthday cake for my sweet little Brandy’s 3rd birthday!! She loved it!!!! It was peanut butter cake! She is sassy in the photo because of her outfit, but she is so cute!)Edit: My little Lizzie turned 3 today and we did an Oz themed celebration for her and the cake is perfect. If you are looking for a birthday cake for your dog look no further than four muddy paws ❤️

Four Muddy Paws is the most fun! I love taking my fur baby there and knowing whatever treat his puppy heart desires from this establishment is going to be natural and pretty good for him! We also like to go there for bath time. The DIY stations make bathing and grooming my 70 lb poodle seamless and simple! I highly recommend popping into this store sometime to see for yourself!

Love this place. They always have a great selection of cat food/dog food. But great doesn't describe it as much as diverse. The store is huge so it's easy to get intimidated by the small yet full space it has to offer. But don't forget to ask the Employes for help. They have always been kind and shown me around if I needed anything.

Out of towner visiting, wanted to stop and get my dogs something. Rude staff, paid by card. Only to be chased down in the parking lot and say there’s an issue with my payment to come back. Verified through my mobile bank application not my card or account was the problem. The unfriendly staff member with zero customer service or computer skills just wanted me to pay again. Advised I would just return the items since I had already paid once. They declined, I left items on the counter, walked out, and had to call my bank to dispute charges

In store made pet treats! Our pup loves her frosted treats! Birthday cake treats along with cbd products in stock as well! The diy pet bath is a great convenience in between groomer visits, plus it makes a mini spa day for the pups!

We routinely visit Four Muddy Paws for dog food and toys. We are always very pleased with the number and quality of options, and the knowledge of the staff. They stock high-quality and healthy pet foods and snacks, and the staff is always happy and willing to compare all the choices. We’ve purchased several durable and eco-friendly toys for our pup too. We haven’t used the pet grooming services, but we’re hoping to make an appointment soon!

I LOVE this store!! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about both cat and dog foods and supplements. The best part is the variety of toys, supplements, treats, and foods that they have! Especially love the sample of foods that they let me try before I commit if they have a sample! They’ve even got a self bath, probably the only one I’ve found in the area. Thanks so much 4 Muddy Paws! I love every visit (and so do my pets!!)

I drove 40 minutes to come here so I could give my dog a self serve bath. Arrived at 5:30 and was told I had to wait for them to “start the bath”. This was by the one person actually working and checking a lady out, while the second lazy girl with glasses sat behind the counter and checked her phone. I asked for help and was told I’d have to wait.So I asked if I could run to the UPS store first. I specifically asked, “it’s close but my phone is dead, I may be back at 6:05. Is that fine?” and was told yes - by the same lazy phone checking employee with clear glasses.I arrived back at 6:03 and the lazy employee said “sorry, we can’t take you for a bath. It’s closed0 - when there was clearly someone back there washing their dog and the actual working employee looked at her like she was crazy.I asked her to call her manager and she said “sorry call back Monday and you can come back then”.What a joke. It’s clear they didn’t want my business, she was just looking to get a free paycheck. And I won’t be coming back unless they want to pay for my gas.

We ordered our pup a birthday cake from Four Muddy Paws and it turned out so great! They have a great selection of pet supplies and treats. Our favorite part though has to be the self service dog baths. We love not having to mess up our own bathroom or lean over our tub every time we give our dog a bath.

I love the variety this pet store offers! There's always new toys and treats. They offer food samples for their dog and cat food, raw and fresh foods, fresh baked treats (including some that are allergy friendly), do-it-yourself bathing for dogs, and much, much more!

I’ve been going to this place for years, my bulldog Squid thinks this is his second home. Everyone there is like his favorite bartender with treats. They are friendly, welcoming and have competitive pricing, not to mention AMAZING QUALITY! The owner really knows what she is doing. In all the years I’ve been going into her store, never once have I seen her compromise on quality of goods and services offered or unfairly raise prices. This place deserves 10 stars.

The people who run the shop are extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend anyone to go into this business and look around. They carry brands that you do not see in the big pet stores. On my first visit, they provided me with a free sample of Open Farms brand Lamb food and my puppy loves it.

We made our first trip to Four Muddy Paws a couple of weeks ago. They are the closest place that sells Open Farm kibble. Well worth the trip! Love this store and the nice people that work there! Maddie (not sure if I spelled the name correctly) was so much help and so friendly. We have ten dogs and this food straightened out some digestive problems a couple of our dogs were having. The food is pricey but well worth it. Planning on making another trip there this week. They’re roughly 1 1/2 hours from us. I would suggest checking out all the various merchandise.

Great selection of dog and cat food and toys. My older cat has started getting pickier with his food so we decided to get some grain free cans and they have some really good ones there. Different textures so I can try which ones my old guy prefers best.

Had the greatest experience at Four Muddy Paws Edwardsville today! The staff was so friendly and left us smiling long after leaving the store. Awesome place! Our Lab has cancer so we avoid situations that may stress her out. We were so happy to find the self serve option at Four Muddy Paws! The lady was extremely nice and helpful. It was very clean and nice to leave the mess😊 I highly recommend this place! Our girl is clean, soft, good smelling and a lot less hairy!
