I absolutely LOVE Aqua-Nook Edwardsville! They saved my baby tank! They offered their aquarium fresh water and it literally turned my aquarium around that I can finally add fish! Their knowledge is amazing! Their prices are competitive! The store is quaint and a joy to browse both salt water and fresh fish! The customers were nice to talk to as well. Definitely my new -meet my needs- aquatic store! If you haven’t visited Aqua-Nook yet, have fish or not, it’s a great place to go and view the aquatic world! Be cautioned - you just might fall in love with their fish - you could start up your first fish home!!! Enjoy!!!: )

This is an amazing store. The amount of coral that is on display and for sale at this shop is the best I have ever seen! The owner is beyond helpful and goes out of his way to make sure he spends time with you teaching you how to care for the coral he sells. His staff is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to knowledge and customer service. I have purchased fish, coral, both RO and reef saltwater, as well as copepods, and food for both my fish and my coral and I have been 100% satisfied with everything from this shop. Check these guys out even if you are from the metro area it is definately worth the trip to beautiful Edwardsville, IL to see this place. They also provide maintenance and set up.

Aqua Nook is a 5 star aquatics store in Glen Carbon, Illinois providing freshwater and salt water products. The owners, Mike and Tammy, and staff are remarkable! They have solved all my problems and now my tanks are amazing. Jake’s understanding and knowledge, along with love for aquatics, is superior. The quality of fish, coral, and supplies are top notch. The tanks are spotlessly clean and I have never seen a sick or dead fish there. I highly recommend Aqua Nook!

We recently decided to get into freshwater aquariums, and after visiting many area aquatic stores, we were excited to discover the Aqua Nook, and we are happy we did! Mike (owner) and his staff, Steve & Jacob, are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The store has an extensive selection of freshwater and saltwater fish, plants and living coral and any other live accessory you could want. All of the tanks are nicely stocked with plants and fish, and it was extremely impressive how clean all of their tanks are. They offer great advice and free water testing. We love to shop locally and help small businesses succeed. If you need anything aquarium-related, check out Aqua Nook, you won't be disappointed!

Great fish store in Edwardsville. I’ve purchased multiple corals and fish, all are thriving after months in my aquarium. RODI water and saltwater are reasonably priced to the point I’ve put my own RODI system in storage.

Very friendly staff! They don't have a large selection of fish but I did still purchase a few. All of their fish look really healthy so you can tell the care that they put into the tanks. They also said they can order pretty much anything for you. I will be back!

This is a small family owned business. Don't let the small store space trick you though, it's insane how much stock is inside. They offer freshwater and saltwater fish, coral, plants and invertebrates in both as well. The owner and his staff have incredible knowledge base on everything as well. I learn something new each time I talk to them. It's clear they want to see you exceed in the hobby whether you are just starting or you have a large fish room. If you need it, they have it or can get it for you. Highly recommend!

Aqua-Nook is a refreshing family owned aquarium shop. The owner Mike is a long time hobbyists here to help provide you with quality equipment, tanks, decor, and freshwater and saltwater fish and invertebrates. He has an excellent and varied selection of soft and hard corals for saltwater hobbyists. His freshwater selection of Nano Fish is diverse and he has bar none the best selection of Neocardina shrimp in the area! They also have a great selection of freshwater plants. These plants are growing in their tanks so they are ready to plant in yours! They also have a huge selection of frozen food and specialty shrimp food available!Mike and his wife are very personable and friendly and are here to help you with your aquarium hobby. They are both very knowledgeable and more than willing to special order the fish you looking for if they don’t already have it in stock so if you don’t see something just ask.Personally I hate big box stores so having a new family owned aquarium shop really makes me happy. Help support this small business and stop by for all your aquarium supplies and fish/corals!I wholeheartedly give this new shop in Edwardsville, Illinois two thumbs up!!!👍👍
