Last summer I ran across FPO during their outreach event at Petsmart and met the most wonderful dog, Andi, who I was blessed to adopt. She brings sunshine to my life every day.And my experience was so positive, I decided to foster. Five foster “fails” and dozens more foster placements later and I have to say, I’m living my best life!Great organization, great people, fabulous pets. They — we — are truly committed to the care and rescue of animals.

Zero communication*do not have a review section if you can not take criticism. We were returning customers of you guys and unlike the first time this experience for me wasn’t positive. I was told in person I would receive a call and waited 3 weeks. Whenever I reached out I was told of application was sent over and still heard nothing. I understand there were plenty of applicants, and I understood that from the beginning, but when I’m told I would receive a call and never did it is frustrating. I’m sorry my honesty is offensive to you. It’s a shame you’d treat past clients like that.

We adopted a dog from FPO and she is wonderful. We had tried another dog that didn't get along with our cats so they said "Let us find you another dog" And she is wonderful. We are working with a trainer to give her a good start but she already knows a lot of commands. I think FPO gives them a good start with some training. This is a great place to get a dog or cat. You can try them out for a weekend to make sure they are a good fit. Most shelters won't let you do that. Our dog, Siri is a great addition to our family.

I am so appreciative of Foster Pet Outreach. I had finally talked my husband into getting a kitten after many years of trying to convince him. We went to Petsmart in Peoria just to see if they knew of any places to get one. Foster Pet Outreach was there with a few of the Foster moms with some of their pets that are up for adoption. We met Beth (Foster mom) and she introduced us to Ash. He is a 12 week male kitten...already neutered (day before) shots and dewormed. We fell in love instantly. Beth made this whole process so easy and positive. She brought Ash to our home the next day and he was so sweet. so at home, so loving. Beth knew it was a perfect match. I cannot tell you how thankfull we are to you Beth and Foster Pet Outreach for being at Petsmart that day. It changed our life having Ash and the joy he has brought us in just a day . Our new buddy is very happy but his new parents are even happier!!! MY HEART IS SO FULL!!!! Thank you so much.

Foster pet outreach is amazing! All the years that I had just been stalking pics of the cute furbabies and I finally decided to go for it 2 years ago. We adopted our first puppy from them. The introductions were great. Met him at a socialization event and then once we applied the foster home where he was kept in contact with us through the whole process. After that we even decided to try out fostering. There was so much support from all associated with FPO and it was great. We had a dog who needed some specialized one on one training at one point and they got us in touch with an amazing trainer who helped so much. We even ended up adopting a 3rd fur baby for our home from them. I definitely recommend foster pet outreach

Foster Pet Outreach responded quickly to my application. A few days later, the foster pup parent brought him to me for an Interview and he never left. This dog is so sweet and I'm so thankful to the wonderful crew of FPO for saving my pup and allowing me to love him. It was truly such a simple process and I. So thankful!!

PHENOMENAL place to adopt from! I was looking for a dog for a few months before I found FPO. Through this organization I applied for a particular dog but that dog was already in the process of going to her forever home.The foster parent recommended a different dog based on my interests, lifestyle, and what I had wanted in a pup! The recommended pup has been with me for almost two months now. She couldn't be more perfect! The foster parent I adopted her from was very, very knowledgeable about tips and tricks related to her personality and ways to help her adjust to our home. The foster parent is ALWAYS more than willing to answer ANY questions I have about her, even though she is 100% in my care. I have recommended this organization multiple times and cannot wait to adopt through them again when I am ready to add another pup.

Foster Pet Outreach has some of the most amazing volunteers I have ever met. They put the welfare of a dog/ cat as their highest priority. They are organized and communicate well with potential adopters. They work hard to find the best home for a dog/cat in order to have a successful adoption.

We adopted Abbie 2 years ago. She had been through several homes and FPO did not give up on her. They gave her training and held out for the right family- US!! The process was thorough and they take great effort to ensure that animals go to a home they can succeed in. Highly recommend!

In 2018 I adopted my Hazel from Foster Pet Outreach. I had just started to look for another husky as a companion to my boy husky when they started to advertise her on Facebook. I filled out an application and the foster mom got back to me quickly. Before I knew it, Hazel was joining my family! I feel lucky to be her furever home.

We reached out to Foster Pet Outreach because my wife and I were looking for a cat. Taiya went above and beyond by bringing Harriet to the house to meet is. She clearly explained the adoption process and met us again the next day at our home. She had a whole care package for us! I appreciate that they were thorough in the adoption process (e.g.checking with my vet, home visit, etc). They were communicative and wonderful to work with. They were extremely clear about any issues my dog had and provided all the information I might need.

I do not recommend this adoption agency if you live outside of Peoria. I live just under 30 miles from Peoria and I was told I could not adopt a dog because the dog's foster parent did not want to drive that far. Craziness! Especially since these pets need homes. 😠
