The 5 stars are for the little restaurant in back. I usually have lengua tostadas or in a burrito. Excellent menudo soup on Saturday & Sunday. Not the cleanest but delicious authentic Mexican food. I usually buy my sauces from the grocery store.

Really nice place with a good selection. We didn’t eat there but will next time, going to try the cake and pastries. Clean and organized with a very friendly staff. Lots of parking that’s easy to get in and out off.

The steak tortas and horchata were amazing. My daughter loved the tacos. The attached store had everything needed for the kitchen and the Mexican cakes were fresh.

We go there for the meat cut unique to Mexican cuisine. Always fresh and reasonably priced.When there, be sure to have a meal in the in house Cafe. Excellent food for sure.

I absolutely love this place. When I want to cook steak taco, I come here to get my meats, seasonings, cilantro, etc. and free 2 liter for every $100 spent - I believe that's the amount.

English is a second language here and they can't even make a decent burrito. Greasy over cooked meat on a soggy shell with only lettuce, tomato, and onion is not a burrito.

This is a Mexican grocery store/restaurant and it's been open for years. When it first opened, it was affordable but now it's pricey. The tacos barely come with meat, more cilantro & onions than meat smh. The cups of corn should have bigger cups for the $4 they charge smh. The red hot sauce is spicy sometimes, the green sauce has a little kick to it. Enjoy their Spanish rice but for a container? $14 is ridiculous smh.I'm hopeful the prices in the grocery store don't go up again, almost impossible to enjoy

Good food for the tiny restraunt in the back. Some prices are too high but overwell good for a family owned store. Deli items are always good and fresh. Produce is usually good but a couple times not so good. If ya like spicy jalapenos is this the go to place for them.

One of the best places to get all of your Mexican-American groceries and food. They are a grocery store and a restaurant. They are known very well in the Mexican community for their authentic ingredients and food. I would highly recomend this place for anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. It's my favorite place to get a snack when ever I'm in need of something delicious. Check it out and let me know what you think!

We went for pollo para asar and 3.99 a pound and we can go to la Laguna and get it 1.69 that is outrageous. The food in your restaurant is way to expensive 65 for 4 people and all of 5 of us can eat in sterling for 5.00 more. We went be returning unless it's for a cake otherwise your prices are too high compared to the other stores

I just found this place! So close to where I live absolutely love authentic corn tortillas and all the imported products from Mexico! This is on my weekly rotation to stop and shop

The grocery store has a small deli in the back. You can order regular things like chicken tacos but can also get more interesting things like beef tongue or tripe. The food is very good; the prices are excellent. I go back every few weeks for lunch.

While waiting for our orders of food.. The guys behind the meat counter were CEE, O, O, L! 😁 We ordered tacos and a burrito. The food was ok. The service and server is mainly what I disliked.

Again don't understand the high reviews for the restaurant. The tacos are not very good had beef and lengua tacos. The torta de Milanesa is pretty tasty as is the sauce. Both bathrooms are scary and the female bathroom lacked soap. Again another Mexican restaurant with high reviews guess people in area have not tried good Mexican food. Will not give another try due to hygiene.

The restaurant in the back is an unspoken secret of the citizens of the area, but man is it fantastic. If you're looking for quick, cheap and authentic Mexican food: look no further. And enjoy only spending $5-ish on a burrito as big as your arm.As a grocery store it's also pretty fantastic. Between here and Hoang-Anh across the street, you'll find pretty much any imports you could hope to find. The staff are efficient and friendly and will make you feel welcome no matter who you are.If you want to try out some new ingredients or a tasty unfamiliar snack, definitely swing by Monarca!
