I discovered this shop after conducting a Google search for car stereo installation services in my area. They had received numerous positive reviews, and after reviewing a few of them, I decided to visit their establishment. I was pleasantly surprised by their competitive pricing and professional demeanor. The prices were reasonable, and I have not encountered any issues with the installations they have performed. I have taken two of my vehicles to them for car stereo installations over the past 4 years, and I have never had to return for corrections due to their errors. This used to be a recurring problem when I used chain businesses like Best Buy or Custom Sounds. These guys provide accurate information about the necessary components and associated costs without employing aggressive sales tactics. In other words, They may suggest a product that fulfills a specific need without pressuring you to purchase it. Their primary objective is to complete the installation efficiently and effectively. In addition to car stereo installations, they have also provided window tinting services and rectified my unsuccessful attempt at a do-it-yourself window tinting project. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment to any audio enthusiasts, 'bass heads' or anyone seeking professional installation services.

The team was friendly and helpful. The owner helped me identify what I need to accomplish my end result. I had a DVD player and new stereo Installed. You can sit and watch Netflix while waiting if you like or pick up your vehicle later. I would definitely use their services again in the future.

After spending a lot of time reviewing multiple shops in the area including St. Louis, I decided to give Modified Auto a try. Spoke to the shop owner a week in advance and the same day I showed up for a sub/amp install and was very impressed with the amount of time that was put into making sure I was satisfied with the products and services offered; they made sure to find the best setup for my budget and made it clear that they were not interested in running me for as much money possible.Very professional employees and a great atmosphere. Shop was clean with a nice waiting room, and I was in and out in a few hours the same day that I dropped it off. The shop owner was extremely patient and knowledgeable in answering all my questions; and even helped me figure out how to get my car to start because my key FOB died long after I left the shop. One of the employees also grabbed a snack for me out of my car while they were working on it because my blood sugar was dropping. Could not be happier with the hospitality at Modified Auto and the sub is kickin! I will be back for my window tints.Sean, Brandon, Jill, Thanks again! Wonderful people.

These guys don’t mess around. You get what you pay for. I previously had work done to my stereo from a business in Springfield and was oversold on equipment I didn’t need and was underpowered as well. These guys made it right. Brian and Shawn got there heads together and went to work on this custom Jeep and it paid off. I will be going back soon for the Stinger head unit install as well to complete this project. My wife first found Modified Auto when she got her truck windows tinted and recommended them to me when I needed the center stack on my car repaired. Great guys, great work. Need I say more? They helped me stick it to the car manufacturers who knew about the issue but decided to turn it into a revenue stream. I'll be going back when I get any audio or tint work done.

Top notch customer service, top notch product line, top notch professionalism. This shop has earned my business for many years to come. From the second I walked in I knew it was a good fit. Very personable staff and custom tailored a sound system to my f-250 that met exactly what I was looking to spend. They have a nice lounge to hang out in as well while they get you taken care of. Very nice atmosphere all around. Will definitely be referring friends & family. They also did a tent for my (2) side windows for $80. I was surprised how cost affordable everything was, especially for that kind of quality service.

Normally I don't post reviews, but after my interaction this week I felt compelled to.Earlier this year I purchased a remote start for my Ram truck, installation was clean, price/cost was average and as was the actual product (no bells or frills, basic R.S) but the customer service was great (more on this in a bit)Fast forward many months later and right as the cold weather starts to set in, my R.S would not work properly. I spoke with the owner and brought my truck in for troubleshooting. Turns out that there was an one in a million issue with the actual brain of the r.s and nothing to do with Modified. Shawn & his team went above and beyond with their customer service and they really do care about customer satisfaction and will make it right! Alot of other shops will either charge you just to even look at it or tell you to take it up with the manufacturer of the product.Sure, you can get your aftermarket parts at another shop, but you can't get the level of customer service anywhere else but Modified.

Great service and friendly, experienced professionals. Had some custom work done on both my RV and my scooter and I will come back for more. Highly recommend this shop over others in the area.Update 2019:Came back with my 32ft RV to get Remote Start, Viper GPS Alarm, and a new deck and speakers. They did great work. Very meticulous employees, and had a nice lobby that was pet-friendly. My cat loved the downtime. Will get my return business next trip through for a sub and amp. :)

I was shopping for a remote start for a birthday gift well I found this place. I had never heard anything about it but decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, this was a mistake. The remote start works but since it was installed it has caused problems with the car. I call and simply ask if I could bring the car in and have it removed. The owner proceeds to tell me that there is nothing wrong with the product so he won't return it. Now, I do have my receipt. He tells me that he will charge me to take it off. I would not recommend going to this place.

I had my 2018 Rogue tinted out and remote start done today. They were very professional and did an amazing job. Definitely recommend them. To add to my last review. We had a sound system put in the Rogue and my husband is in love. They are very good at what they do and very professional. I can't recommend them enough. Awesome job guys

Hands down the best place to go for window tint! It was faster than expected and sitting in their comfy waiting room and having conversations with the owner/workers was a good time, definitely my kind of place. Great products, great service, great people, great business! The owner is a good guy (his wife wasn’t there but she was so sweet when I called to schedule) you won’t go wrong coming here! I had the best experience here!!!! Modified made my Tucson look even cleaner than it already was!!! Unfortunately I was not able to get my front window done due to the manufacturer design of the window. The owner was very upfront not being able to insure a high quality tent to his standards!!!! I really appreciate that kind of honesty!!!!! Thank you!!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!!

I had my 2018 accord's Windows tinted, and not only did they do an excellent job, but they did it in just a little more than an hours time. The sales person was very knowledgeable, and the people working there were very friendly. I will be recommending this place to all my friends. Bonus, they were reasonably priced as well. $185 for all 5 Windows.
