My wife went through last night ordered 2 triple cheese burgers the kid put in doubles she corrected him told him no 2 doubles he said ok pull forward at the window she asked him thise are triples he said yes he hands reciept and she pulls up and looks the reciept says doubles and thats what they gave her. The night shift is constantly messing up orders the fiod cost to much. Waste of time and money.

I normally have a good experience here. But the person working the drive thru acted like it was an inconvenience to take our order. And when we asked for double fries, instead of apple slices, she said we don't do that anymore. I was just at another McDonald's in the area a few weeks ago and they did it. Some kids might not be able to have apple slices. We already pay an arm and leg for happy meals, why not offer another substitute or just put in a few more fries.......

Although people behind counter, they try so hard not to make eye contact...we walk over to the kiosk and place our ordersKiosk card reader broken, said to pay at counter, but took order and gave me a receipt, in my state you pay when you get order at counter; after standing 15 minutes we check, which was hard, I had to be verbal just to get someone to respond and lady was like rude,"we don't make it until you come up and pay" - difficult for me to figure that out given they won't walk up to the register to see what a customer wants.

I decided to take my kids inside to have meal and the interior seemed to have not been cleaned in weeks. We got our cups to get drinks and the lid dispensers were covered in catsup and mustard, pools of dried soda all over the floor. It is absolutely disgusting. If this is what the lobby looks like, imagine what is going on where the food is prepped. Until this place comes under proper management I would avoid this McDonald's at all cost.

I made a mobil order , not from my reg. MacDonald lol some one can't read and I wasted my money because I Am not drinking it..thanks lady ...Went to my reg. MacDonald where they know how to make coffee...3 creams 2 liquid sugars and no ice...they did get the no ice right....look at the difference... The one on the left is correct ty wood river!

Waited at the drive thru for about 10 minutes before they took my order. For the record, I was the only car in line. Once I ordered and went to the window to pay, the person took my cash, then proceeded to take at least two more orders before giving me my change. When I pulled up to get my food, it was practically thrown out the window to/at me. Perhaps they were short staffed, but I did see 4 different people in there. I realize it's McDonalds, and not a fine steak house, but the service, and wait time, was joke. The food was decent enough, tho, and I suppose that's all that matters.

Posting from my boyfriend's account (25f)I went in to the East Alton location today wondering if I could use my virtual card and have them manually enter it in since I don't have my physical copy of my debit card and wanted to get my five year old daughter some dinner, but they couldn't do that. The young gentleman at the front counter who helped me showed me unrelenting kindness. After asking the manager on shift, and being told they were no longer allowed to enter card info in manually, this astounding young person asked me what she wanted, and I said nevermind it's alright, and started to walk away and he says "no, ma'am what do you want?" and said he wanted to pay for my daughters dinner so what was it she wanted. Thank you! You were the third place that denied me being able to use my card, I must have looked pretty disappointed. And for whatever reason, you paid for her dinner tonight. While $6 may not seem like a lot, it meant a lot to me. Times are tough out here and you have restored my faith in humanity once more. So thank you again.

The East Alton Location is my preferred place to get food. The service is great although a little slow, but that's because they're usually short staffed so can't blame them for that. The employees are super friendly. The only downfall is the drive through speaker and restaurant is so close to highway route 3 that it's sometimes hard to hear the person taking your order and hard for them to hear you. But all in all Great place, good service, friendly employees, and good food.

This McDonald's is usually always quick to give you your food, and at the same time the quality of the food here is usually always great. They rarely get the orders wrong or miss anything. Sometimes there's a grumpy employee or two, but usually it's friendly service. Their parking lot layout is easy to navigate and get in and out of. The inside is usually clean and there's plenty of seating. It's a very good location and often busy. 🍔🍟

We tried the new double quarter pound bacon jalapeño cheddar burger.The cheddar was not melted and was VERY chency.The bathroom on the men's side was disgusting.The staff was polite on the inside service.We do order from this particular one at least once a month, however, most often at the drive-through.McDonald's food has gone downhill. McDonald's charges like they are an actual sit-down restaurant. I know inflation has a toll on things, but not to the extent that a burger from McDonald's costs the same now as a restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking right up front, but it is difficult to get out if the drive-through is backed up.

Usually pretty good, I used to go there a lot to get a mocha every morning on my way to work and they would make them perfect every time. Got in line to use my $1.50 coupon and the code didn’t work had to refresh and it told me I had to wait 15min to use another code. Apps fault yes. Told to me to pull forward to try at the window (waiting 5-10min) But they would not promo it or even charge me $2 for something so I could pay I tired (it’s normally $2.36 with coupon). Drive tru lady said they wouldn’t let her. So the management here needs some training. The mocha was made already and any money would be better than nothing. But not only did they take a small loss on a mocha they lost a customer. Bethalto and Wood River have promo and made it right when the app has messed up before so I know they can, that’s the real problem. Management and employees definitely need some training there. And bye East Alton McDonald’s

Super friendly staff and the only disappointment was that I did not catch the young lady's name at the drive thru to be able to personally recognize her superior customer service skills and attention to detail. She was friendly yet professional, and caught a wrong order before it was handed to us. You hired someone with a very bright future ahead McDonald's, once again, good job!
