This store is my usual go to for Dollar general. I stopped there three to four times a week to pick up milk bread eggs soda and miscellaneous stuff.The store is usually well stocked and the employees are usually friendly. One exceptional employee I think is David a young black fellow who is very courteous and helpful when I'm in the store.

Such a poorly managed store.. store manager takes all hours for her self and then leaves mid way threw her scheduled shift she talks horribly to all employees likes she gods gift and everyone else is beneath her... Turn over rate is insane cus of how the manager treats her employees

Workers to busy outside smoking to do there job foods stale and melted from the store not having heat manager is never anywhere to be found and have seen poisoned mice dead on shelves smells like sewage half the time needs better management seriously

The cashiers were EXTREMELY KIND & HELPFUL. I had left behind my dog's food and after I realized it, which was several hours later, I went back to the store & they had it behind the counter waiting on my return. I have ALWAYS been VERY PLEASED with this store 👍

Always LOVE ME some DG!!! they carry all my fave brands of laundry supplies, cleaning products, candles, etc... The staff is also always very helpful as well and I always have a good experience when I go there.

I love Stacy she runs a real tight s*** she knows where everything is in her store and she will assist you and help you and she will remember you when you come back everyone in the store that works for her is very friendly and will assist you

Like a hangout spot at night. Everyone shows up to take smoke breaks all night. Literally in lawn chairs... Ill take my business a little further down the road to east gate. Polite attentive people who actually do there job... We dont bring business for you to smoke ur cigarettes.

The staff at the East Alton location are always so helpful and friendly. I appreciate they wear masks faithfully and work to sanitize the store. They are the only neighborhood store in this area. An real asset to the community!

The out of stocks just keep getting worse. I really like the friendly and helpful staff, at the Broadway location in Alton, IL, but I don't go very often because of the horrendous out of stocks. This was a big problem BEFORE COVID-19, and it keeps getting WORSE. I went there two weeks ago with seven items on my list, and I could only get TWO. Seriously, the shelves look like they're going out of business.

Convenient shopping. Most of the time they have what we need, but lacks some general items people in the area use. Aisles are often cluttered and hard to maneuver through with a cart because of displays.

Love to his dg, the employees are amazing. It's close to home, and the products are priced Right. Love the fact I can buy milk for $2 a gallon. Can't find that deal anywhere

Workers were everywhere stocking and cleaning, cashier "Bob" was very friendly.
