This is not my local DG and was just passing by for dryer sheets. As soon as I walked in you could feel such great energy coming from all of the staff there. They were very personable with everyone and literally made each customer leave with a smile. This location needs to be applauded for their excellence! A+++

I picked up a movie from Redbox outside of the store. At 8:55 I went to walk in to the store to grab candy and the employee stopped me at the door and said they were closed (even though they were supposed to be open for another 5 minutes). Then I went across the street to BP and got candy. If Dollar General can’t follow company set guidelines an have employees that are kind, I’ll just spend my money elsewhere.

Had what we needed. On my next visit had to wait in a line of 3 no big deal, but then cashier had to do balloons, again no big deal but this is why we probably could use 2 people working instead of 1. Then 2 patrons walked in wanted cigarettes so cashier calls them over to head of line to serve them. How rude, let them wait if we, the ones in line let them go ahead is different... was not happy.

First time I've been there and it will be the last. Alyssa is extremely rude and ignorant to customers. She should not be a manager. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Employees are rude, they don't want to help you find what your looking for, or scan the coupon for 5.00 off for a purchase over 25.00. Not shopping in Mendota,il DG I will go the extra few miles to go to Walmart

This place, being basically the sole source of groceries and household supplies in Earlville, is indispensable if you're not in the mood for a long drive. They have quite a selection of essentials, and since they're a national chain, their prices aren't inflated. As others have said, the cashier is often stocking shelves and must be sought after to cash you out. While mildly inconvenient, it's not as though they're just MIA. This place is surely an asset to the community, and undoubtedly makes it more liveable.

Dollar General in Earlville, Illinois is very nice place to go to. Alysa the Mgr runs the place like a fine oiled machine. A great manager has a great staff. Very helpful.

Its a good store but they need more frozen food and refrigerated more food .Like tomatoes sausage pizza and degornos sausage pizza. Ice cream swirl..but the people who work there some are nice and some are rude.but this store is convenient for me .

Its convenient and close, a few of the cashiers are very rude, they make you feel like you are inconveniencing them by wanting to check out, Carol always works but never smiles does give great dirty looks.

Very clean and organized! Staff very helpful and friendly. I've been to both GD(Mendota and Earlville ) Earlville is my first choice.

I go here a lot im glad they are changing the staff because some of the other woman just walked into work crabby so when you go to check out you can just feel their tension, but other than that its usually a good experience for me

Went too see if they offer big bags of grain free dog food and that's a Nope small over priced bags for being generic WHY CANT WE HAVE AN ACTUAL DOLLAR STORE NOT ONE SAYS THEY ARE DOLLAR GENERAL NOTHING IN THIS STORE IS A FREAKING DOLLAR
