Our waitress Bailey was awesome.The only issue...They do not take debit cards. They do have an ATM with a 3.00 fee. Wish we would have known to bring cash before going...

2pm Sunday afternoon out of chicken and ribs and ribs are the special of the day. Asked for mac and cheese, pretty sure it was kraft mac and cheese that I waited the extra time for it to be cooked in the microwave. Brisket was very good. Neither waitress could crack a smile, the older one was almost rude.Parking: Parking is limited.Wheelchair accessibility: Extra long ramp.

The ribs are wonderful, the baked potato is huge & they even have potato soup small or large bowls. They offer other items also that I haven't tried yet.Parking: No problem with parking

Someone just told us about this place so we checked it out Sunday. Arrived about 3:00 pm, middle of the day, my husband and I were the only ones there. The baby back ribs were fantastic! Plenty of meat on the bones, tender and great taste. Seasoned potatoes were real potatoes and so good. Baked beans were sweet, how I like them, delicious. I was happy they did not have meat in them. Would definitely go back!

This place may be open Thursday -Sunday but the food is so good. I love the chicken loaded nachos from here and the staff is very friendly.

I got the meat platter. The brisket and ribs were awesome but my pulled pork and my supposedly smoked chicken was reheated leftovers. Everyone else in the family seemed to enjoy there meals. The seasoned potatoes were awesome. This would have been a 5 star review had the chicken and pork been just as good as the rest instead of reheated leftovers.

Hands down best place in southern illinois for ribs!! I've been to many places for ribs and I'm not bashing any place on this post but Mike is the best in the business and consistent. Everything from a barbecue basket to ribs to anything they send out of the kitchen is top knotch. Drinks are awesome, atmosphere is prime! I highly recommend stopping in wherever you are coming from, you will not be disappointed at all.

We absolutely love it. The pulled pork is wonderful, the ribs are fall off the bone smoked to perfection delicious. The brisket is melt in your mouth, oh my goodness amazing. (My favorite, can you tell? :) )We still have to try the chicken, but no doubt in my mind that it's every bit as good. Pair any of these up with the great side choices like coleslaw (creamy goodness) the green beans, seasoned or baked potato and you have a spectacular meal.The servers are always great, smiling and making sure we are well taken care of.Mike, the owner is very personable taking time to chat and make sure we were happy with our meal.Always a great experience we look forward to going back.

The pulled pork and potato salad was delicious. Best baked beans ever! Rodney had the brisket and loved it. Staff was friendly and restraunt was spotless. It smells awesome. We really enjoyed it. The owner made sure everything was perfect. We are definitely returning.

Food is excellent. Worth the 20 minute detour from the highway. The brisket is juicy, the BBQ sauce is perfect, and Cole slaw is just amazing. My only disapointment was the Mac and cheese, which was a bit industrial. Definitely head out here!

Food was great, the best barbecue around. Very reasonable prices. It has just enough smoke on it for taste and the best sauce I have tried anywhere. We definitely stop in as often as we can. Very friendly staff that recognizes customers and greats them nicely.

Best barbecue I’ve experienced in Southern IL. Good ribs are hard to find in rural areas. The staff there is really nice and they all work hard to make the White House look nice and clean. It’s definitely worth a visit or two or 100.
