If I could rate 10 Stars I would. While visiting our 2nd home and being new to the area we had an unexpected emergency with our 15 yr old dog this weekend.. Without hesitation Dr. Ulrich, Penny and Rose took exceptional care of us. The care, knowledge, follow up, compassion and professionalism was well beyond our expectations given our circumstances. Dr. Ulrich did such a thorough examination of our dog, and provided so much information to help with both treatment and recovery. We are sincerely grateful and thankful for the care provided to help our fur kid. We look forward to them continuing to care for our fur kids

All the staff is very friendly and patient, every time I go I'm very satisfied with my visit. I take my dogs in that most vets haven't had patience for because the tend to not like the vet, but they always are very kind with them. I also took my cat in and I felt like they genuinely cared about her, and the vet himself called me in the morning to check on her which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend taking your fur babies here everyone is amazing❤️

We had to have our girl of almost 15 years put to rest last week. The staff here was very comforting and professional, and we greatly appreciate that. We are thankful for all the care that she received over the last year, especially at the end of her life.

Brought my dog for a laparoscopic spay. She is a very active dog so I knew a traditional spay (which is what my regular vet offers) and downtime would be very difficult for her and us. I am so happy I made the hour and a half drive to use this clinic. My dog is a handful to deal with and the vet and staff were extremely patient and kind to her. They were great about communicating with me and answering all of my questions. In the future, laparoscopic spay will be the only way to go with my female dogs and I will happily make the trip to use Ulrich Vet Clinic! Thank you for taking care of my girl!!

Even though they have raised their prices in the past year (the office visit/exam is now $42), they are still cheaper than many other veterinary services in the area. The vet thoroughly explains the diagnosis and gives you as much time as needed to ask questions. The vet techs are very gentle and seem to genuinely care about your animal. Wait times vary, usually about 30 minutes once they take your pet back.

I am a college student and have had my cat Sweetie since I was 9 years old. My mom passed away 4 years ago and her and I rescued Sweetie together 13 years ago. She is my most important and valuable thing I have in my life. Sweetie was left in the hands of a friend of mine while I traveled home for Thanksgiving break (long trips are stressful so I usually leave her behind for the shorter stays back home). She was exhibiting some really concerning behavior and being 250 miles away made it very stressful and upsetting because I wasn’t there to help her.I called Ulrich’s and they fit her in the very next afternoon (the day before thanksgiving) when no one else could get her in to be seen AND they had never seen Sweetie before. They took all of my info/ payment over the phone and were so kind about the whole ordeal. My friend took Sweetie in and the vet spent hours figuring out what Sweetie needed. He called me before/after every test and basically did everything with me over the phone. He was so patient and understanding during the entire process which took a lot of stress off of my shoulders. They even stayed open past their set hours to get Sweetie’s issues/treatment figured out which you rarely hear of vets doing anymore in my opinion. A lot of places would be short or have a bad attitude in a situation like this, but I was so amazed by the wonderful treatment to me, my friend, and my pet during such a horribly stressful time for me. Sweetie has been doing great and I received the same wonderful treatment when we returned for her checkup weeks later. I would highly recommend this place for the speed/quality of care, prices, but mostly the staff and their kind demeanor towards pets/pet owners.

This office is top notch! They are very caring for you and your animals. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. My dog was hit by a car and sustained a really bad mouth injury that they handled extremely well. One week out from his surgery and everything is healing as it should and maybe ahead of schedule! Also, they are really affordable as well! We are very pleased with their attention to detail and care for our sweet dog.

Wouldn't take my guys to anyone else. Dr. Ulrich is professional and experienced. He doesn't sugarcoat and tell you what you want to hear, so if you're looking for a Vet to rip you off and do tests that aren't needed he's probably not for you. Sam is AWESOME! All the staff are friendly and care about your pets.

My dog hated the vet, he was terrified. My former vet wanted me to drug my dog into compliance. When I took him to Ulrich, they never tried to pressure me to drug my dog, and instead, took the time to make him feel comfortable and safe. The personalized care they give is astounding. I would never take my fur babies anywhere else. It's just a shame I can't be a patient there myself.

For 16 years Ulrich Veterinary Clinic has given Itchy the best care any dog could want. When it was time for him to cross the rainbow bridge they were so compassionate and caring. I would recommend them to anyone who loves their fur baby. Thank you and God bless everyone who took care of Itchy.

The veterinarians, nurses and assistants are wonderful!! I take my 3 dogs and my cats to Ulrich's clinic and have had great success!! Special nod to Dr. Walter, who miraculously saved 2 feral kittens from certain death. He is amazing!!

I've been with this place for approximately 25 years. The doctors and vet techs are wonderful!!! Well respectful and nice to my animals as well as myself each time I take one in for something!! I only give a 3 star however due to the rudeness of some of the staff that work behind the front counter. A gentleman with curly hair in particular. I'm not sure of his name because I couldn't get passed his attitude long enough to ask for it, but I will my next visit. He was also recently rude to my mother when I had her take my dog in for nail trim and a checkup. I know they are busy and it gets sometimes stressful and now more than ever with the Covid virus. However, being rude to a patient who has been going there as long as I have doesnt settle well with me. I'm sorry your days are sometimes overwhelming but as a pet owner my pets mean the world to me and when I take them in for help I dont need added stress due to your attitude. I'll give a 5 star when his attitude gets better.

First visit was great, younger vet was very understanding, explaining things well. Follow up visit not so much, older vet was rude, no empathy for the situation, straight to the point but rudely. Probably won't be going back. My dog is 15, just wanted to make his end of life a little more comfortable.

I have been taking my pets to this vet (and it's other branch) my whole life. The receptionists are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The techs are amazing and attentive and the doctors themselves have years of experience. I wouldn't reccomend any other local vet.

Unfortunately my experience was quite different than the above reviews.I had used this clinic for over 7 years and had fallen into a financial difficulty when my male dog had a stroke. I called to ask what the minimum charge would be to get him checked and just to make sure he would live. I was told that the minimum would be $250 and any treatment would be extra. I explained my financial situation and asked if they could work with me and was told "that is the best we can do."It seems as though this clinic has gotten more pricey as time has gone by and I was left feeling that they didn't care if my dog lived or died after I hung up the phone.I WON'T BE USING ULRICH VET CLINIC ANY LONGER!!!!!!!

I have been a client since 1998, from my horses down to my cats. Unfortunately, the clinic is too distant for common procedures, however, when it comes to a life or death situation, this clinic is my first choice. I've brought cats home that I was certain would not be coming back with me...and they all have made the round trip. All these doctors are dedicated animal lovers, and they know their stuff. The techs are first rate, along with diagnostics and treatment. If your pet can be saved, it *will* happen here! They are economical and do not put you in the heartbreaking position of deciding your pet's life over money.
