The majority of nuts, bolts, hex nuts, and washers are not available.When you look in each compartment many of the bolts and such are missing from the package and the packaging is shoved in the back and/or the employees are not restocking them. 🤦🏻‍♀️The men’s and women’s bathrooms are absolutely deplorable and completely neglected. The Blue Raspberry pack of four was on display for $.50. But I was wrung up for $2.00. When the cashier called the manager she call for a price check. It is as $.50 for single but no singles displayed. She told me to meet the guy in the back and tell him. I did. By the time I got back there he had changed the tags to $2.00. Then told his associates what he did and what it read. I said it’s the principle if you don’t honor which you have I asked for a refund. I will NEVER purchase food item’s from them again. If it happened to other items I will stop all together.

It really grinds my gears that theMenards in Dolton doesn’t carry any angels or Knick knacks with brown faces. I frequent this store often and during the Holidays I’m always left dissatisfied and disappointed with the decoration choices. It’s as if brown faces can’t be angels or live on the North Pole🤦🏾‍♀️ The purchasing manager needs to be a lot more diverse when making these decisions…especially in a store that is living off the the buying power of Black and Brown people. I took pics last year and failed to report this but I’m honestly tired and ready for change. Even the dolls lack diversity. Sad that this is still going on today.#thereareblackangels #MySantawasblack

Overall, the experience it is great when i shop there. But, Undercover Security does a bit much of being obvious they are there and following you while shopping. I guess a new sense of urgency has arisen from the prior years past infractions !!

Everything I need for my home. Tools, garden supplies, cleaning products, batteries, and the garden section has some ok flowers. Also they have a decent Halloween section.

I promise, I go out of my way to avoid this Menards even when it's convenient. Having been a former retail manager and a current business owner, I'm just always awestruck by the lack of care and effort put into providing a good customer service experience. Every now and then I'll go in for a quick item and everytime im quickly reminded why I go elsewhere.

Ordered online..Not ready when recvd email. Staff looked for 1 hour for the missing parts. Dept manager said "she would do nothing". We sent an email to store manager and never responded (that was sent 10 days ago). Got an email from customer service that nothing will be done..prices low enough. I thought the manager would like to know just how badly most of his employees treated a customer..guess not. Maybe he knows and maybe he does not care. So disappointed..my money spends the same everywhere..but never at menards in Dolton and very questionable at other menards locations.Thank you for the canned response..it means nothing to me. You have our email address; we tried to solve this before this was posted but you and your company do not want to be held accountable. I am not going to waste my time trying to contact you..if you care you will be in touch with me.December 10th and still nothing from menards..does not surprise me. Worst $300.00 purchase ever made!! I would think a good manager would like to hear how his employees talked and treated a customer. All I can say is wow!!

I rarely come here but I had bought some candy here and came back to get more. Now online it said they had plenty in stock 155 to be exact. I couldn't find it so I asked an associate so she searched in her phone and went and asked the manager. They didn't have any. She was a nice older lady I didn't get her name though.🤷 The only thing I can say is maybe keep the website updated.

We shopped at the Menards stored in Dolton to pick up an on-line order. When no record of the order could be found, we realized we were at the wrong Menards. Department Manager Maurice T. came to our rescue and saved the day by helping us fill our order at the Dolton store..

The cashier today, Monday, June 12, 2023 at 335p, at the front desk/returns desk is not friendly or nice whatsoever. I attempted to make a return and was curious about the no receipt price that I was quoted. She acted as if I were bothering her. When I returned 5 minutes later after finding my receipt, she was not cordial at all. I absolutely love Menards, but people like her make me want to switch to Lowe's.

I'm giving 5 stars today!!!!! We have been in here 3 days in a row and always run into the young guy Luis who is extremely helpful. He was on his way to break and was still helpful. He didn't have to do that. He's been great every day we have come in. Great Job

Most of the time I have a good experience here, but the last time this one employee didn't know what she was doing, made me make three trip for the same part. I showed her what it needed and she said they didn't have that, but on my last trip I found what I needed wasted hour and a half for a half hour job.

Out of all the menards this is probably one of my favorites the staff isn't perfect but always willing to help and provide good service. The security guards are always very friendly saying hi to me and my kids. So all in all no complaints.

Terrible !...I came here looking for a wall thermometer...asked 5 different workers, no one had a clue as to where to find it in this huge store. After walking around looking for it for about 20 minutes...I found a person who identified herself as a manager. She seemed quite perplexed when I explained to her what I was looking for then she sent me to the same Isle as a couple of other workers did and there is no thermometer there. I told her they wouldn't get a good review from me. Her reply was..."So what". Horrible customer service here... I'll never come back to this store as I've spent literally thousands of dollars here in the past. I'm taking my business to Home Depot where they are far more helpful and considerate.

I love Menards, but my experience with staff has been unfavorable in recent visits. I went to purchase a grill. There were no more grills in the box's under the display (this was a smaller flat grill), so I took the display to the check out along with my other purchases I did seek help, but no one around wanted to help they were too busy talking to one another to notice I needed help even though I took the display down 6 feet away from 3 employees. When I got to the check out I explained the situation, and the cashier called the lead! The lead was rude! She said we don't typically sell displays! I said "everything in the store is on display, and asked if I could get a Managers approval to buy the display, and she just walked away from me. Good thing the cashier called a manager and the got a new box from upstairs, but I felt very unappreciated as a customer, but I wanted the grill so I waited. I had the feeling they would of rather me walk put the store without the purchase so they wouldn't have to do thier job. Since I don't live close I'll chose a different store in the future. If anyone reading this has an issue check the cameras I was a very polite customer treated poorly by the staff.

I've been to this location many times and each time I've found what I came in for and then some. The customer service is really good. Each time that I've needed help finding something the employee I asked would stop what they were doing and walk me all the way to the product that I needed. From the garden center to the paint section I've found Menards quality and price to meet my needs. The ladies restroom isn't the nicest, but that's not what I came here for.

I once loved Menards, now I absolutely HATE it!! I was excited to get the supplies and had a list of contractors shoved in my hand while the associate was on his cell phone being VERY inattentive. Only when I said I’d speak to the manager and call corporate did the associate attempt to sarcastically respond to my request. I kept walking and asked to speak to the manager (David), who was also very nonchalant and unhelpful……. NEVER COMING BACK AND CANCELING THIS CREDIT CARD!!!!!!

Went to buy AC unit for window, took a minute to find someone to ask where they were located. Found what I wanted and headed to check out, only 2 lanes open, no surprise since finding people to work is non-existent. Check out went smooth, cashier was very friendly.
