Worse store ever just bad news not worth one Star at all disrespectful discrimination disgusting against disability woman with cancer and it's not worthy to shop there employees don't help the disability woman who had dealing with kidney cancer that deal with on going to bathroom often times . I ask nicely that my woman need to go bathroom the lady said no wo don't have bathroom just flat out lied . I instantly knew it . I said that's impossible that can't be. I know that every store all over Dixon Town have bathroom every stores in state of Illinois have bathroom except this Dollar General in Dixon Illinois WTH don't have bathroom LOL I sudden see back door open way back of store sudden one of employee overheard me talking about bathroom that employee walked all the way back of store shut door which I knew that instantly these employees lied every word they speaks and lied about that bathroom one of them said we don't have bathroom other said bathroom broken and I ask where do employee go bathroom one of them said they go gas station other said they go home and come back WTH LOL makes no sense at all just not making sense and ofc ofc full of B.S. And I said to them have a heart she got kidney cancer and you got no remorse at all no heart what hell wrong with employees and your manger boss disgrace heartless S.O.B. Ever walk on the face of earth and they don't care about people who shop there they don't care about disability customers and very filthy store so dirty like they never mop floors and walls and shelfs were nasty dirty aisles were so narrow no room for wheel chair just over crowd nasty place to shop that explains why lot of people goes to Walmart stores and Shopko and other big boxes stores I been in Dollar General in Rock Falls much cleaner and employment were very friendly nicer and helpful and wider space aisles I been few other Dollar General there nice store expect this disrespectful dirty nasty rude Dollar General in Dixon just flat out disgusting period period .

The sales tags are always left up and never honored. If a weekly sale runs Monday through Friday or however, make sure to take down the tags and if you don’t you should honor the price. This is why people go to Walmart. Not to mention the store is filthy and the customer service is rude.

Dollar General is awesome! So many items at great prices. Just wish it was much bigger so they could stock more stuff! You can wander around as long as you like, staff is friendly, helpful. Patrons are polite & will actually say "hi" to you - unlike the "big box" store in town

The employees are NOT friendly, and poorly trained. Just had them deny my printable coupons from the Procter and Gamble website. Very LEGIT coupons, not anything fake or wrong. They treated me as if i had done something wrong. wont be back.

My experiences here are always iffy. Really depends on who they have on staff that day. Aisles seem kind of cramped sometimes and the store always has a very particular smell, not a bad smell but a unique one, the seasonal decor items they sell are always cute.They have a small cooler and freezer section for things like drinks, milk, butter, lunch meats, frozen meals, and ice cream.Good amount of food items and can usually find what you need. It's convenient to go here as it's closer to my home than the ALDI or Walmart but I wouldn't make a habit of going grocery shopping here because it can be so very expensive. (I really only go to grab some chips and ice cream tbh)But if you need to grab something like aspirin or a box of tampons and really can't be bothered to go the distance when this place is closer it's perfect.

I was at this store 2 weeks ago trying to send money WesternUnion the associate guy was nice and tried his best to help ! After the transaction was approved charging me $619.00 I was sending to a friend it told them the WesternUnion union failed and to give me a full refund! They then said that they could not refund me and it was a whole run around so had to call service number with dollar general to void the transaction assuring me they charge would not go through! Now 2 weeks later I still am missing 619$ and can’t get in touch with anyone to help me ! Aweful customer service ! Impossible to get in touch with anyone I guess I have to take legal action because dollar general dosent. Care that they are stealing 600$ don’t ever try to send money from here and based k. The corporate level of service I will not give this company my business although conveniently down the street

Store needs a little TLC. Staff was helpful. If you just need some quick cheap item its okay but for heavy shopping look elsewhere

Dollar General charged my credit card twice. They gave me the reciept and only read the first charge. I have all reciepts but they insist it was my credit cards problem. Will follow through but will not shop at Dollar General Dixon with a credit card. Beware!!

Came in to get advil for my 70year old dad at 7:45 and they told me they were closed while there was ppl in the store, one of the most rude cashiers I've ever met

Parking lot is kind of torn up. Supplies are fine but neighborhood may not be as good. Some things need to be locked in cases.

They helped me shop while using my walker in store. Lost my left foot to diabetes. In June I lost my wife PAT of 42 yrs. Because of COVID. Bad year

Went to exchange a product the cashier didnt give me a receipt to what I bought and I went to exchange it today and they tell me that they cant do that because I have no receipt. Not my fault that there cashiers didn't give me one
