Horrible store with terrible customer service. The bell peppers that I was purchasing clearly stated they they were $1.33 per pound. They insisted on charging me per pepper. The cashier took the peppers off of my bill even after I walked to the produce department and took a picture of the sign stating that the peppers were $1.33 per pound they still did not want to honor the price and insisted on charging me per pepper. I asked for the manager and the manager never came. Finally one brave young cashier took it on himself to honor the stores price. Please spend your money somewhere else other than this grocery store with lousy customer service.

Items I was looking for were in stock; if I can't find something there are store associates to help. They are friendly, helpful and efficient. If I need items bagged a certain way, they will do that. Produce is good quality, bakery items are delicious with a large selection of items. Restrooms are clean and easily accessible and store brand items have great prices! I use the Money Counter machine when I go to convert Coins into Cash. It has been Out of Service 2 times since I began shopping here in 2021.Meat department offers specials that are good deals in their ads, a wide variety of fresh and frozen as well as processed items.The Deli offers Kretchmar brand meats, various cheeses & they can slice items to order. Various salads & fried chicken parts are available as well as Rotisserie Chickens, cold cooked foods & trays for sale and many, many more cold items.Great store, digital coupons to load to your Max Card & use in store. Give it a try!!

I've been going to County Market for Chester's chicken for years now, for a 2-piece meal and today I was overcharged almost $4! There was a new girl working there today, maybe that's why. ??? I did not get it. And I did go back there and check and a 2-piece meal is $7.99, not $13 something! And just now I tried calling, and the phone kept cutting off before even being answered. Just want to let you know these things

There are only two lanes open and I accidentally used the express lane, because I was focused on my three year old who was running around and didnt see the sign. Shopping with two kids is hard enough. But then to get publicity shamed for using the express lane by mistake is just rude.

Nice grocery store. Deli serves some of the best non home made chicken around, when the strips are on sale it's well worth picking up a box full. Meat is pretty good but for the best meat go to the behind the glass area. Prices are a bit on the high side but you expect that at a full grocery store. Their sales are usually a great bargain.

They are a little pricey, but not much more, especially if you shop specials. I like that they carry things not normally found. They have tons of baked goods, a really nice deli selection, and friendly employees. I wish Oregon had a County Market.

Only place i can ever find Indian Summer apple cider, all year round. (A must for making apple pi((alcohol)) employees were friendly and helpful. Meat is a bit pricey, but the quality is excellent.

This store is employee owned. And is the best place in Dixon IL to obtain your meat. They all ways have fresh produce. They have a decent size organic section. They have a bakery department and a specialty section. In their fresh meats section they offer Chester's Chicken. in my opinion is comparable to KFC if not better. The staff is always friendly and never hard to find one if needed.

I like this place a lot. It's definitely my preferred grocery store in town. They have a nice selection and the staff is very friendly and nice. I go later in the evenings when there is less of a crowd and it's always a relaxing experience.

I was there yesterday to get a few things. Hamburger was $5.49 a pound! When I asked a clerk if that price was correct, she told me it was because of the holiday or shortages in beef. Really? I put back everything that went with making taco's.

I got a turkey breast that was already cooked and upon opening the container at home discovered it had Melted PLASTIC on it and it didn't even resemble that section of turkey either. I went back to return it and they said they couldn't give me a refund so no turkey to eat plus a waste of my money and time! 😡

I will never go to this story again. I got a slice of meatloaf at the deli, when I received it I noticed that there was no catsup on it.I said to the girl yesterday, where's the catsup?She said on the bottom! I said are you sure? Because I don't have any catsup at home. She said it's on the bottom.Well she lied! First of all I have NEVER had my meatloaf served to me this way at Byron, and they don't lie. So even though it is out of the way for me to travel all the way there, I guarantee you that I will NOT return to the deli department in Dixon ever. This goes right in the garbage, what a waste of my time, money and excitement for the dish.

Recently moved to area and found this as my favorite grocery store. Until yesterday. Cashier had a mask on but not the bagger and she was sneezing! I called and was rudely told that she was already gone for the day. Also girl collecting carts outside was taking garbage from carts and dropping on the ground. Won't be back

I went shopping to help my grandpa who has a pace maker and everything else wrong with him. We went to the express lane bc they were super busy with 2 lanes open. The cashier turned my grandpa away because he had more than 8 items. He had maybe 15 items and again they were swamped! So my grandpa and I had to go stand in line for over 15 min!! His back was hurting him so bad. I'm very disappointed in their compassion for a senior citizen.

County Market always has good deals on food. They are more expensive than Walmart or Aldi especially when it comes to milk, but they make up for it all in quality. Their cakes and donuts are superior in taste to Walmart's, and they have more variety of food than Aldi. With their Penny Saver coupons I've seen people save a lot of money at check out. Proud to be a cashier at County Market!

After spending 40$ plus on party supplies, I had to wait more than 20 minutes in line for the customer service associate to inflate the balloons I purchased. Instead of calling for help or asking if I minded waiting the associate intentially bypassed my balloons (which I only choose to inflate 5) to help other customers when I've been standing in line waiting by far the longest. Then she tried to charge me for inflating my balloons when I purchased them from the store & showed her my reciept. Had I not been on a tight schedule I wouldn't have stopped and will not be stopping in the future. The service I recieved and the attitude of the employees was very subpar and they clearly does not value their customers.

Stocking Tyson's Chicken big mistake. Their chicken products are water sprayed and frozen for shipping. Example: Buy chicken gizzards paying attention to the pricing on the label and the weight. Take out all the contents of the package and then weigh the package including the pad. Yep. You are paying a lot of money for the pad which is water soaked at the packaging plant. Comparing County Market's former chicken to Tyson's. When cooked in water, Tyson's leg and thigh parts shrink to less than 1/2 the original size. The former chicken shrink some, but not nearly the amount of Tyson's chicken. The Tyson's chicken is tuff compared to the former chicken. I attempted to explain my findings to the store manager. Response: who cares.
