I went to this store to purchase a few essentials items including an NIU shirt. I ask the man with the name tag "Dan" for help because the prices wasn't clear on multiple shirts. He just basically accused my concern and told me to use the price scanner. I finally chose a shirt and went to self-checkout; where Dan comes up trying to help me out. When I didn't need anymore assistance, the bar code wasn't scanning at all for me or the cashier. In which Dan never helped the other employee either who had the same issue. This shows what type of employee CVS has and isn't my first time here. But I'm 100% unsatisfied with my experience.

True patriots!! They worked with me through the VA so I didn't have to drive 2 hours with pneumonia for medical. It was allot more work for them then an average civilian pick up. They helped me with great haste, happiness, and kindness. Walgreens refused to work with the VA and support combat vets. Like I said CVS=patriots. I no longer will give business to walgreens and I've already spread word to my fellow veterans, CVS, not walgreens.

Today, I came into CVS to get prescriptions filled by the pharmacy. As I walked in, I was greeted by a pleasant young black man as a pulled my carry on luggage behind me. After dropping off my prescriptions, I came back to the front of the store and asked what coupons did I had on my account. The young black man was eager to help me and whoa to my surprise I had a $5 off of any purchase. So I looked around the store to see what I wanted and settled on what I needed- toilet paper. 3 rolls at a $1.69 a piece which came out to $5.08. I didn't have the 8 cents. As I was going to ask the customer who was so kind to let me cut in head of her in line to be serviced by the manager who said " We don't beg, bother, or badgered other customers but we should come prepared when we come to the store". I said" for eight cents?". ". No one would consider it a bother if someone needed eight cents to complete their purchase"." You are being ridiculous by preventing from completing my purchase" as she removed one roll of toilet paper from my order and finalized my order as I said let me put all of these back and get something else which she responded too late I finalized your order and you are being disrespectful. Disrespectful?! If a store manager acts as if she is above you and you are beneath them and I have no right to respond to their their snide remarks without the risk of being trespassed or ask for the number of their district manager without the chorus of I can't wait because you were harassing the customers. How do you harass a customer when you never ask them anything in a free market economy in a free democratic society?I wondered who was the " We..."in her statement? I had people ask me if I could spare a quarter in order to complete their purchase plenty of times and I never felt harassed or bothered. I rarely asked for anything because pride gets in my way. I was a homeless veteran for years because I didn't want preferential treatment nor be a bother to my family who offered me a place to stay but pride got in my way.So for me to ask for 10 cents to complete a purchase for a necessity wasn't ego, wasn't pride; I thought it was just being human but I guess the store manager didn't see it that way even though without her knowledge I asked some of the rest of CVS employees " Would you considered it harassment if I asked you for 10 cents to complete my purchase?"The humane answer" Not at all but I don't carry cash". " I wouldn't consider it harassment - sometimes we all just need a little help".So corporate- does she represent your company's creed? Or does her subordinates?

The personnel at the Cal CBS are the most arrogant slowest moving people I’ve ever seen in my life they tell you your stuffs ready it’s not you call them they won’t answer the phone they let it ring and ring and ring they tell you that’s a lunch hours from 1:30 to 2:30. I’m here at 3 o’clock. If they’re just restarting this place sucks do not shop here.

My son is a 1st year student at NIU, living on campus. The health services office called in a vitamin prescription for him. He does not have a car on campus and wasn’t able to pick up the prescription quickly. I was there visiting this past weekend and went to the pharmacy to see what I could do about the prescription. Their pharmacy team was amazing. They were friendly and accommodating. The medicine was ready in 5 min and costed less than $1. As I left, I literally said, “if only everything could be this easy”!

This is the apreciation the store manager and employes from this location show to their customers. Full blown severe thunderstorm its 35 minutes these people have been waiting in the rain because the store is suppose to open at 8:00. But oviously their medicines are not that inportant they saw us standing there and just walked back into their break room

I came in the store at 9:45 and was not welcomed in but instead confronted by the manager (ada) by telling me they close in 8 minutes which was not accurate. I came in to quickly grab an item and was rushed out of the store. I checked out my item at 9:53. I needed to grab some change from my car and they told me to hurry up because they are going to lock the doors even while my money was still in the checkout machine. Very inconsiderate and rude, this behavior was uncalled for simply because I was the only one in the store and there was plenty of time to check out my one item and leave. Technically doors are supposed to be locked at 10 meaning no more cutomers are allowed in past that time. Not rushing the customers that are already in the store to leave before 10. I was saddened by her attitude especially because she was the manager. Hospitality could use a little more work:)

I believe her name was Amanda. Amanda was so helpful when my mom and I came to pick up medication. She was patient with us and she was so funny! If your reading this, you are the bomb! I've never had an experience like that at any CVS. Keep it up girly! Thank you

When another CVS in the area failed to notify me that a prescription I needed was not in stock and insisted I had to wait three days… I demanded that the prescription be transferred to this location. Immediately this location had it filled and notified me within 20 minutes. I am so grateful. I was so sick and in so much pain their urgency was incredibly appreciated.

I am 8mo pregnant and I must be put on insulin due to GD. I have called them time and time again since Friday for my prescription, been given the run around by what seems to be kittens and Doogie Howser running the place... my prescription sat in their fax machine for almost 3 hours and I still do not have my medication I need. They apparently ordered it since it wasn't in their store, (and the pharmacist verbatim says "I can check another location to see if they have it but I highly doubt it"- in the most Valley Girl voice I have ever heard) but there was also no proof of that ever even happening. They made me create a profile since I've never used the pharmacy before, switched associates, and then they still couldn't find me, so they started to create another profile for me..... POOR COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Who wants to hear their pharmacist say they highly doubt they can find what I need?! What if this was life or death? You're gonna let a fax sit there forever? I get that we are in a pandemic, but that's no excuse. Period. The ONLY reason I was told to use CVS was because my insurance has a better contract with them so my medications would be cheaper but no thank you... it is not worth the unnecessary stress for my pregnant self! I work in customer service as well, so when someone says they're not going to come back for your business, you're kind of just like yeah whatever, but this is embarrassing!

Store manager Ada is the rudest person I have ever met. She refused to release UPS packages with Photo ID and said UPS only accepts certain ID but didn't provide documentation of what ID is acceptable.

Pharmacy is great! I have seen people fly off the handle because their doctor screwed up and think it's the pharmacists fault. Or they get there before their script is ready and think it's CVS's problem. If you know how a business works and respect that you will have no problems here. Everyone is so nice and helpful! Prices are a bit high, but come on people, you are paying for convenience...it's CVS....you shouldn't be shocked by that lol. I have never had a problem with this store and have been using their convenience for about 2 years now. Good store, good location, good service and good people. Shouldn't ask for more out of a business.

My child was most recently helped by cashier CECILLIA. My child needed a product that was locked up. She asked the employee and the employee blew her breath. She called for someone and when she didn’t get an answer, she blew her breath again. She wasn’t even helping any customers. And no one else was around. So why the frustration? My child is 11, would she have done this to an adult? Doesn’t matter if she’s 11, 21, 51 or so on. Respectful customers deserve the same no matter the age.

I had to get copies of photos and was helped by Aida. I greatly appreciated the friendly way I was greeted as I entered. One of the cash registers froze but was immediately taken care of by having me go to another. People entering forgot their mask and one didn’t have their mask on properly was told in respectful manner to wear a mask.

They were having trouble getting my meds filled.Never contacted my doctor or insurance company. Just ignored my prescriptions.I contacted my doctor and insurance company and there was no record that CVS contacted them. So I had to get my meds somewhere else.

Pharmacy is awful. Made this a year ago and still true. They don’t have meds, they taken at least 30 mins plus for a prescription, I had another prescription pending for over a week, I called, and they assumed I wanted the brand instead of the generic. They didn’t even have the decency to call and ask. Some of the people at pharmacy are nice, others have the worst attitude. I was told to “come back tomorrow because we’re getting in an order” and when I came back the next morning they still didn’t have enough. I miss Walgreens. I only go to CVS because of my insurance

Worst customer service at the pharmacy, doesn't matter if I’m inside in person or over the phone. Every time I go in I feel like I do not matter, it takes 20 minutes just to grab my prescription if they can even find it. They never pick up the phone just leave you on hold for over 20 minutes when your just trying to return the phone call. Wish this wasn’t the only CVS near me.

It's overpriced, but it's on the corner. It's CVS, what do you expect? They do have great deals in the summer on Arizona tea, 50 cents a can. The pharmacy is always quick and has great service. They also have a rewards card; just buying things on sale has gotten me some 20% off your order coupons, so you can get some of their expensive stuff at reasonable prices, that way.

Time after time my experience at this pharmacy has been worrisome and inconvenient. I can positively say that the reason I buy drugs on the street now is because of the staff and pharmacists at this CVS location. I trust street vendors more than these evil people.

Short, short blonde haired person at the pharmacy was rude and blue is off because it was almost time to leave. Very unprofessional. I know you want to leave but blowing us off like that is not okay. Only reason I'm going to store 2375 is because it's what insurance says I have to.

I work literally across the street. My prescriptions can no longer be filled at Walgreens so I have to come to CVS now. I am so sick of waiting 10-15 minutes through the drive thru to pick up my prescrips on my 15 minute break. It is ridiculous. Every single time.

Amazing staff! The people there are so nice, and greet you as you walk in! It is a joy going there, versus similar stores. Super friendly and helpful!!

1) Sign out front said "WALK IN FLU SHOTS." I walked in. They said they didn't have the flu shot. I went to the Walgreens on first street instead.2) Because there isn't a Chase bank within 20 miles of DeKalb, I started making small purchases here (pack of gum, etc) and using the cash back option when i needed a quick $20. I soon discovered they don't offer cash back in the first couple hours they're open. I'd forgive a small business for not having cash on hand like that, but CVS is a large corporation and should be able to swing it.3) Prices are high even by corner drugstore standards. A Powerade that goes for $1 at Woodman's or Wal-Mart is around $2.50 here if i remember correctly. One advantage to going to Northern instead of a city school like DePaul or UIC is DeKalb's lower cost of living. This CVS, however, shows you can still find city prices out in the boonies.Employees are nice, though.
