Wanda did a great job with my two chairs . They are 65 yrs old and had been recovered numerous times. Wanda was able to repair the wood and retie the springs so that they are as comfortable as ever. And she did a beautiful job recovering them with my fabric. I shopped around in the NW suburbs for someone to do this project and their rates were sky high. Wanda,'s shop in DeKalb was an easy drive and her talent was a treasure to find. Highly Recommended !!!

We bought a chair from Costco and within a year it had a tear in the seam. We took it to Barb city upholstery to have it repaired and they did the most amazing job. It is even better than it was when we bought it! I would highly recommend Wanda and Dale for all your furniture repairs

Wanda is a true artist. She has the ability to take some broken down chair and make it look like it came from Neiman Marcus. She is a perfectionist and her work is always impeccable. She has a fine eye for figuring out how to make things look good and her work has never failed to be perfect -- even after years of wear and tear. She is kind and a real professional. She could have refused to repair the chair I brought her to reupholster since it was in such bad shape. You will never ever go wrong with Wanda and her work. I wish there were more people like her.

Wanda told me to bring in my chairs twice and then both times said she didn't have room to store them. After 6 weeks of fooling around she said she couldn't accept the job. The place is a dump and communication is terrible. She may be good, but I will never go back.
