The outer sections for produce, deli, frozen, dairy sections are easy to navigate, but the pantry and dry goods sections in the middle are messy, you never know what belong in which aisle, and it will be helpful to have clear signs to help us navigate, please reference to DeKalb Walmart, the signs and organizations are a lot easy to navigate. It doesn’t help that when you ask the staffs, they will tell you this is item in aisle 2, but god knows where’s aisle 2 when there’s no mark or sign anywhere.

Very spacious, nicely organized and always very clean with good selections. Also, DO NOT sleep on red wine from Aldi. Usually highly 4 star rated on the Vivino wine app!

Not only is Aldi more affordable than other grocery stores, but has better quality products! The fruit is always more fresh than other stores. This location is bigger than others in the area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Only downside is there’s only one cashier open and the self checkouts don’t accept cash.

Good prices and a decent selection of basic food items. Here is a huge disappointment: every item you like, they stop selling it. They call it "seasonal", "special purchase" or nothing, they just don't sell it anymore because you like it. Ask any customer at Aldi. This never happened to me anywhere else.

Placed an order through Instacart for pickup. They gave the order to a different person without verifying ID/name. I drove to pick up and sat in my car for 45 mins before I was told there was nothing they could do. I currently have covid and am unable to go in and shop. I was told I had to go through Instacart, refund, repurchase, and then select a different time slot and wait for a different shopper to pick my order. They couldn’t re-pull the order for me, even though they handed it off to a different customer to take. I would’ve been sitting there at least another hour, assuming they even had time slots left for the day. Absolutely ridiculous that they couldn’t do anything for me after their mistake. Drove home with no groceries. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. You should actually be verifying identity before handing orders to people and then telling the actual owner of the order that there’s nothing you can do. Thanks a lot.

I went in the evening on Tuesday and it was a pleasure to shop with a near empty store 🙂. Usually there are people and carts everywhere and hard to shop while social distancing.I intended on purchasing specific 4-5 items, but of course, the pricing is so great that I came out with 2 bags of groceries. The cashier was also pleasant to talk with.

I enjoy Aldi's quite a bit. I had an issue with a product and they sorted it out quickly. My son really enjoys their powdered sugar covered donuts - they're a bit smaller so a couple make a nice snack. I enjoy the ready made curry simmer sauces, really makes for a quick and easy dinner.

Store was great until recently installing self checkout. First off none of them take cash which is my only form of payment. Secondly there is now only a single cashier who cannot even consistently ring people up because they have to constantly tend to the self checkout. Third they slow everything down because customers are not good at ringing up a cart full of items quickly. I have been shopping at Aldi in Dekalb for the last 25 years, the cashiers are the best and do not deserve to lose work to these inferior machines

I love shopping at Aldi for essentials. The prices are fantastic. Very nice produce section. You do have to bag your own groceries and need a (refundable) quarter handy for a cart. But it's worth it for the savings! Currently, a gallon of milk is 98 cents. Can't beat that!

I do not like the new Aldi look. The prices are too high, some of the food is expired and still tagged at a high price. Frozen deserts are in the same freezer with doggy frozen treats what grocery store does that? Aldi's isn't the same and I don't wish to go there again I will continue to shop at Wal-Mart

I wish this Aldi was a little closer to home so that I could come here every shopping trip! I've ordered groceries through Instacart and I've been inside the store and I haven't been disappointed yet. Everyone is friendly, the store is clean and so bright. The selection was pretty great compared to the Rockford location or Rochelle.

Every time I have gone in there the place is covered in flies, rotting produce and the store is a complete disaster. I have had nothing but bad customer service as well. I will be sending you pictures of the few things that I found. They always seem to be out of everything as well. The store is also extremely dirty. I actually left my cart full of groceries today because of how bad the place smelled and all the rotting produce. I do plan to reach out to the manager tonight. I will be driving back to Elgin to use their new facility. It is worth the 45 minute drive instead of having to try to scavenge for groceries in this place. I also have plenty of pictures if you guys would like them. I did send a review to corporate.

Prices are great, most of the products taste the same as name brands. Most of the dairy are usually less money than big grocery stores. Fresh fruits and vegetables. some gluten free products. Does have Mexican items. I don't know when the store will get more square footage, it needs it.

Great prices, especially on milk and eggs. I don't understand how they can sell a gallon of milk for around or even under $1 when the nation average is closer to $3.50 but I'm not complaining. Everything a person or family would need at the best prices around. Always shop ALDI first.

Love aldi! Wish some of the items had more staying power, I fall in love with stuff and then they're gone, but that comes with the territory of the business model. I often find new favourites here for great prices, and the cashiers have always been pleasant. Wish there was one closer to my house!!

Love aldi! Sometimes they only have one register open and the line can get long but the cashiers are usually very fast. Everyone is helpful and wearing masks. They don't always have everything that is in the ad which is a little disappointing.

I was there last night( Monday the 19th of January 2021). It was 7:20, there was a line of 6 people ahead of me( all with full carts, one person had 2 carts) and I really had to take a P. I went up to the bathroom but it was blocked off my the mop bucket and cleaning cart. I asked the a worker "can I use the bathroom?" She said "no, bathrooms closed for cleaning", but no one was cleaning the bathroom. I had to leave my cart behind and lose my spot in line to use the gym next door. UNHAPPY with this ALDI and the staff closing the bathroom early to a full store of customers for no reason. The frozen food wall has labels on the walls letting people know what should be beneath the label in the freezer, except the items don't match the labels. Everything else is great in the store and the staff are very nice.

Aldi has been raising prices lately, and the Saint Charles location is no exception. Quality of produce is still very high, and the shelves are almost always well stocked. One of the better Aldi's in the area.

Thanks so much for the absolutely rancid rack of lamb. Seems as if it went a long period of time at room temperature or something. Opened the package and immediately was met with a wreched stench. I know lamb smells. But this was abnormally bad. I attempted to cook it thinking i may just be overthinking it. But after cooking I took one bite and immediately spit it out and threw it all away. For almost $30 I was hoping for something edible.

I like shopping at Aldi for certain things and I love that they now have a lot of organic goods for very very affordable prices. However, on this particular visit, the credit card machine was covered in nasty crud and the cashier seemed upset when I said it looked like someone wiped their butt on it and I proceeded to wipe it with a lysol wipe. It was so gross. She should have said thanks, not given attitude.

Aldi's & Walmart are my 2 main groc. stores. I get fresh goods, meats, poultry, chse, etc all from Aldis. Depends where Im at which store. Sycamore, Rochelle, & Rkfd.

Very good comparative prices. It can be a little confusing finding the items you want because they tend to shuffle the locations of items around. It's a good store for all of the basic food items then afterward I go to Walmart for the few things they don't carry.

I'm new to aldi and I love the whole concept and most people that work there are very friendly. At this specific location there is a girl named Ashley that works as a cashier. Every time I go to check out she has an attitude and makes me feel very uncomfortable. I'm already going there using my link card always hoping I've got enough on it which can be mortifying by itself. She was just rude, not friendly, and I was just very uncomfortable. I try to avoid her lines when I go as this has happened twice already.

Like the chicas that work there are so hot I can't concentrate on what I'm buying essay. I dropped my purchase six times. The whole store seemed like it was in slow motion. I was like dude are these girls that pretty? I don't remember doing drugs today. Then I realized, it was just slow cause the store is so crowded. Can't wait for their move to the new building.

I love me some Aldi y'all! They have so many good things and they're about to upgrade to a new building... Woohoo! So they're going to have a big enough spot for all the stuff that they want to put in there. They're about to get more vegan products and more vegetarian products and health food products that are really high quality. I already like the changes that they did with their food selections. And their wine is through the roof. It's extremely cheap but the taste and the flavor is insanely good. It's actually been compared two more expensive wines and they beat out the expensive wines. So why pay for a name when you can go to Aldi? It's worth it.

Prices are the best!!! However, you have to maneuver through crowded aisles next to frustrated shoppers and then contend with the store clerks slam dunking your fresh produce and chips into your cart. Very frustrating.

Pros: GREAT pricesCons: close earlyI mean come on, 7pm is way to early to close on a Sunday. As someone that works later, I often can't make it to Aldi in time before closing. Also they tend to run out of certain items on Sundays, like coffee and eggs.
