I rarely will complain in a review but I have to warn people to stay away from this pharmacy. I feel bad for the pharmacist and the employees who aren't with a terrible attitude. I usually go to ash avenue but they were out of a med I needed that 48 had in stock. I call over and I catch someone who puts me on hold to double check and I get hung up on. I call back a few times and finally get someone who is the absolute rudest. I strive to be kind to workers anywhere and did not deserve the rudeness. I needed this medication for something rather serious so I stuck with this location. She has us come pick up 3 and tells me the rest will be in "friday". I go to ask a simple question about the dosage and she bit my head off. First time with this med and she is rude and there is no pharmacist consult. Okay fine. ....I delayed starting the med because I didn't trust that she would follow up properly. Sure enough 2 days later they are rude and telling my husband it WAS in stock the first time but now it isn't. This woman is saying she is going above and beyond to find the medication somewhere else. What?!?! Now my husband needs to be grateful because he is being scolded because of THEIR mistake???? Finally got a pill bottle that was all marked up. Different brand and amount. Whatever at this point. She writes on the receipt "still owe x amount of pills". So now it will require a 3rd trip in which we are dreading. While this one woman was working she is ranting and raving how awful corporate is and how hard her job is. Very unfortunate situation. I can not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. It seems like utter chaos and you may be talked to like garbage for simply having the expectation that you would be able to pick up your medications. And if corporate sees this...... Pay your people and take care of them. They are struggling and it's impacting customers when they are struggling.

Just for clarification sake. My 4 stars are for 1 particular pharmacist at this location. Everyone else staffed there has a TERRIBLE ATTITUDE. If you're lucky enough to get the guy pharmacist there then your experience should be 4 star worthy, too.

Don’t think of trying to call the pharmacy. I was hung up on twice. The first time I was on hold for 5 min and hung up on. I called back and I was on hold for 19 min while the phone rang multiple times for someone to pick it up and put me back on hold….three times! I just want my prescription transferred. I can’t believe an outpatient pharmacy is this busy and disrespectful.

Wait time for pharmacy is way too long. Only have drive-thru pharmacy open and only one lane at that. Average 8 minutes per car and about 10 cars in front of me. Just for them to be rude. Moving my prescriptions elsewhere after 15 years of using this pharmacy.

I have been going to this Walgreens many years and always receive excellent service. I'm including the Pharmacy, even short on help they always come through. Big thanks to all the ladies at this store!

Cant speak for other Walgreens but this one on illinois rt 48 just throw it away with the management and district mgr and the pharmacy I would rather deal with the three stooges much more successful and u can feel how u want but at work u should not voice your opinion ive walked up on a couple of different situations where employees were lets say tipping that racial card the whole atmosphere of the store is depressing

The Pharmacists here are super RUDE! Anytime I've tried to ask a question they are impatient, snippy, and make it seem like I'm stupid. I have not been happy about these past interactions today!!!

Get your meds sent to a different Walgreens they are slow and rude tell you it will be ready in a 1hr 1/2 and then go and say it’s not ready whats the point of it being open just shout it down

That place is a joke they never get your stuff ready then when u go thru drive thru they tell you to come back in a hr then to come back they tell you it's not ready n come back in another hour they need better staffs there because immtored of wasting gas to keep on coming back and u can't even get a hold of a pharmacist because they have u on hold waiting forever
