Northgate Pet Clinic saved my Siamese cat Boo's life.She experienced acute kidney failure as a result of having chronic kidney disease which I did not know of... She was only at 2 years of age which is very young for cats.She was rapidly attended to both expertly and efficiently, hooking her up to oxygen as well as giving her appropriate fluids to flush her system of anything she might have eaten to hurt herself or get her kidneys functioning properly again. My cat would have passed without their help. Thank you so much to the entire team at Northgate Pet Clinic as well as especially Dr. Julie Voelker!!! :)

Our experience at Northgate Pet Clinic was great. They did a great job cropping our cane courso puppies ears. Thankful they crop ears, not to many vet's around do it anymore. They took amazing care of our puppy, he experienced very little pain. They are experienced and know the little details that turns a good job into an amazing job. The only down fall is they are located to far from us to be our pets regular vet or Northgate would definitely be our pets vet! Thank You so much.

This was my 1st time using this clinic & all I can say is: "I was impressed". Dr. Larry Baker & his dental team were fantastic. Plus you get to be in with your dog during the whole procedure. The experience was a great one. Thank you. 🐾 🐾

I had to take Maddy, my 10 yr old Dorkie, to Dr. Baker because he specializes in dentistry. She had a bad reaction to anesthesia that was almost fatal, so our regular Vet referred us to Northgate because of Dr. Baker's excellent reputation as a specialist. He and the entire team were incredibly professional and caring. Right away, I felt reassured that this was the right place to be. As expected, everything went without complication. Dr. Baker even showed me her EKG here he spotted something was happening, which may have been the same trouble she had previously. It wasn't anything he couldn't handle and she was perfectly fine. I am so thankful to Dr. Baker and everyone at Northgate for the excellent care both Maddy and I received.

I called 2 hours before close and Dr Baker told me to bring my very sick cat in. He even called to check on him the next day. Vet tech was great too!! Unfortunately the outcome of my Zeek isn't good, they did everything they could. Prices were reasonable too. We will definitely use them for future vet care.

We had a positive experience. Dr. Baker is an amazing veterinarian to work with. He spent lots of time explaining our cat’s dental surgery. Removing 30 teeth is an extensive procedure. Her recovery is going smoothly and she will now be able to lead a pain free life.

Great vet clinic! Dr. Baker was amazing. I am in healthcare and he showed me everything, we even discusses my pups anesthesia meds etc. Buster my morkie did great getting some baby teeth pulled with just sedation! Thanks you so much!

This place is amazing! The doctor is so down to earth, he walked us through everything he was going to do, always asking if we had questions or concerns. The rest of his staff was just as concerned for us too. We felt very relieved that we took our pet there for dental surgery. We were even allowed in the room when the surgery was happening. Dr. Baker even called the next day to check up on her. Which she is doing great!! I highly recommend Northgate Pet Clinic. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!!

My wife and I cannot thank this amazing team of talented people that work here especially Dr. Baker. He is amazing and I believe God worked through him to save our fur babies leg. We believed that amputation was the only solution for him but Dr. Baker was able to save his leg. We are beyond grateful for him and his team. We are from Chicago and I don’t regret the drive whatsoever !!

As a new pet parent, I wasn't sure what to expect going in I was worried that little Artemus was going to be frightened by the new sights and sounds but that wasn't the case I believe due to the welcoming environment he felt at ease to explore his surroundings. Shockingly he allowed everyone to pet him he even tried to make a friend. Everyone was very patient, helpful, understanding, and genuinely cared about the pets. I highly recommend don't worry you'll be in good hands.

I live in NYC, but was searching for a specialty vet dentist for my two senior dogs, Sweet Pea, and Puddle, who have some special needs. I figured I could schedule both of my dogs’ dentals to coincide with my trip home to central IL for holidays with my family. While researching, Northgate Pet Clinic seemed like the perfect fit. Dr. Baker takes amazing care of my dogs, and they are also incredibly reasonably priced! Although Sweet Pea recently passed away, I was able to introduce my newest pup, Dudley to the clinic.

My dog needed some teeth attended to urgently. We live about an hour away and Northgate was booked out 4 months. They came in on their day off to help my dog. They were kind and kept us in the loop throughout the day. Would definitely recommend and would give more stars if possible.

Murphy had a serious run in with a truck . It left him with a broken leg , 3 broken teeth , a serious laceration under his tongue and a suspected fractured jaw.Dr Baker took us into his care as soon as he was released from the U Of I veterinary hospital. He was quick to repair all of Murphys dental issues.Sincere thanks to Dr Baker and the caring staff at North Gate Animal hospital .

I haven't been to Northgate in years, however they treat exotic animals and i brought my bearded dragon Ceasar in for a check up, everyone was wonderful and just loved seeing him. The doc was. Very nice and thorough, ill definitely continue bringing him here. The staff are awesome, and the cost of the visit was affordable!

Me and my husband got our puppies ear clipped. Staff was able to get us in the next day. They were all super friendly, knowledgeable and thorough with their work. They answered all questions, and even clipped our dogs nails for us while he had his procedure (thank God!). We loved there facility, it was clean and we were able to watch his procedure in person or on camera. I highly recommend to anyone in need of your pets next service.

Hands down the best Vet I've ever been too. Amazing staff and Dr. They actually care and not only can you feel the energy but see it as well. I'm saddened that I stay 2 hours away. However, I'm thinking really hard on making that trip for checkups, it's truly worth it and an experience.

Amazing place and people, highly recommend. Drove 2.5 hours to take my 15 year old dog for a broken tooth. They found a tumor in her throat and also took it out. She was in excellent hands with Dr. Baker and his amzing assistants! All the staff was super friendly and helpful! And we got baked dog treats from the bakery on our way out! Thank you Northgate!

Dr. Baker and his staff saved my 16 year old dog’s life! With his amazing experience, knowledge and care he made a very difficult situation much more easier for me and my fur baby.
