They might've been remodeling but the store has a real strong smell. Like when you have a friend growing up whose sibling has a pet in their room but doesn't take care of it. That being said the couple employees I spoke with were pleasant and helpful enough. They didn't have what I was looking for but the few fish tanks I looked at seemed healthy

We were the first customers in their new saltwater room & have been back twice since then! The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. Selection is good and is only going to get better as they now have more space. We can’t wait to watch them grow. Highly recommend them! The talking parrot “Thunder” is a riot!

Very awesome place. They have an absolutely huge variety of fish and lizards as well as small mammals like hamsters and rabbits. They even had different species of different hamsters and rabbits and had mice and rats grouped by different sizes. I love the huge selection of animals. They will let you hold the different animals and we had a lot of fun checking out the horned lizards. They also had a few spiders and scorpions when we went as well. I didnt see a lot of birds but they did have a couple. Very cool atmosphere, really laid back. A couple times I went there there was a dog roaming around the story who was very calm and friendly. I love taking the kids there when we need to kill some time. Definitely plan on getting a horned lizard as soon as I can get all the gear that comes with it.

Under renovation. New owners doing their own work. Store is ingy and dirty. Owners are friendly. They seem to have a good customer base. Inventory needs updated and products need to be cleaned and fronted. Housekeeping is poor.

Don't own a pet shop if you don't know how to properly take care of the animals! This place is disgusting, those animals are living in habitats way too small and they're filthy! It breaks my heart to see them like that. I went in needing feed for my reptiles, I will not give this place a dime. It needs to be shut down. These animals are suffering, this is not okay. I will be reporting them. Do not shop here. I'm all for supporting local businesses but not ones that are endangering innocent creatures.

For one thing, the entire place smells awful, worse than any pet store I've ever been in. The pet rats they have are all crammed in a tank that's way too small and most of them look very sick and malnourished. They had boys in with girls, which is a bad idea for obvious reasons, and the only food they had was just a pile of dog food. It's filthy and overcrowded and is just not well maintained. If you care about animals at all, do not support this store. I will never go back there.

Its been several years ago and though she at the time the groomers name was I think Peggy but she did an ok job on the grooming but I was a few minutes late picking my dog up and she took her home with her and left a note on the inside of the metal door ( that I could not see, saying I could pick her up at any time) again the sign was taped to the inside of a closed solid door that I could not even see from the outside and she charged me 3 days boarding. I will never go back there ever again!

The animals have no fresh food or water, it's too hot for them, smells. And it doesn't look like they get cared for at all. They also sell old used cages and dont even clean them out. Nastiest pet store I've ever been too. Poor animals.

Great owner's.. very knowledgeable .. friendly I pick this shop over PetSmart any day..the new owner was left with a mess and has been working hard to get the neighborhood pet shop up and clean...PetSmart is an animal mill..hampsters..lizards..birds...and the employees are young, not well trained and dont really care..the owner here knows her business and puts heart into it...the review below is not accurate...

Suggest new people to work there need air conditioners or fans these animals are dying from the heat smh animals need cages cleaned every day need to be fed and watered every day they never have anything just putting the truth don’t hate it needs to get out there 😔 if I could I would take those animals in a heart beat to give them a better home

Great place. Been going here for years. 3 kids and 20yrs of pets and supplies. Snakes, fishies, snake supplies, crickets, mill worms, pinkies, gerbils, bedding, cages.

Bought 24 live fish and got 6 extras already dead like here throw these away for us lol .drove 15 min home no stops in between and dumped out 8 fish that were still alive they too died while scooping out the other dead ones I give them 3 stars for effort and the comical aspect of buying a bag of dead fish makes me smile
