This place and Amazon are the only two spots I need to check before knowing what price something should be. Sometimes you want the high-quality version of something, but sometimes you just need a cheap piece quickly. Just about everything I have bought here has been what I needed at the price I wanted.The only problem, which isn't much, is the lack of stock when it comes to big ticket sale items, but that's how it works.

The guy Sam that works here is very rude, he will not listen to what you have to say and assumes you are wrong. Like assuming I was stupid when I was here last. Other than that it's a clean store. But most workers here aren't attentive.

They have some pretty good deals here. The tools might not be the best quality in the world, but they fit a niche well and deserve kudos for that. They have a few diamonds among their supply. Honestly, they are the first place I think of when I need a tarp, because no matter the quality or price my tarps always get destroyed.

Good spot for tools ...they have cheap throw away stuff and now have some more better quality tools ..not tool truck quality ..but not tool truck price either ...always friendly helpful staff ..they are definitely getting to a higher standard than before ..just make sure you know what you're getting . most of their tools have lifetime warranty...

It's Harbor Freight, they don't have much high-end stuff, but if you're looking for a good deal on a cheap tool or supply, they probably have it! at a great price!

If you need it, chances are that they have it. Very clean store! Friendly, helpful staff. I enjoy going through all of the aisles to see the multitude of different products. The management has something special here.

Very nice store on the West end of town off Pershing. Fairly new, I believe it opened around Thanksgiving 2021. It is in the old Aldis store, so there is a huge selection of hand tools, air compressors, electric and air tools. To much to list. If you need a specific tool, harbor freight is where you need to go. Also have a nice selection of toolboxes, and all of this is at reasonable prices. If you haven't been here I suggest you check it out at minimum. You will be surprised how much they actually carry at affordable prices.

This store has only opened recently, it has a good selection, and some items I've never seen in their stores (previously online only, maybe). The store layout is a bit different than I'm used to seeing, and there's a couple of odd dividing walls here and there. There was one item I was looking for that I couldn't find, and the only employee was the cashier. The lack of employees is the reason I only gave 4 stars to this store, but I expect this will improve since the store is currently looking for employees.

I actually love harbor freight. As far as tools go don't expect to get all of the good quality tools you would need to do a job there. But some of their items are worth buying and not that bad at all compared to the name brands. One thing for sure you're going to save a lot of money and still be able to get a quality job done. Isn't that all we're striving for LOL.

Good deal on this 4 in 1. Walked up and down every single aisle not knowing what I was looking for exactly though and not one person offered any assistance. In fact,I had to find someone and ask for help and then he just pointed at an air compressor( I've never used & have 0 idea how to use) & said there u go. As I dazed at the compressor and began to ask for direction, he then vaguely pointed at this 4 in 1 & said," less you're lookin fir sumthin like at" Well that's exactly what I needed so great deal on the 4 in 1. But bad deal on the customer service. Get it together folks!

Really pleased that HF has finally arrived in Decatur. Shipped at the Springfield store off and on for many years. I've visited this store so many times already that some if the staff addresses me by my name. I've always had good experiences from HF products and recently upgraded and added a lot of tools.Thank you HF staff.

I always enjoy a trip to harbor freight, knowing that the tools that I obtained there will be low in cost and fairly high in quality. It is true that harbor freight tools may not be the very best choice for somebody who makes their living at the hand of those tools; but a very large percentage of the time they are definitely good enough to accomplish the job.The store in Decatur Illinois is brand new. That means it is clean, everything is well organized, and the people that work there are quite willing to jump in and lend a hand. This is not unique to a brand new store however. I have been another harbor freight stores and they are very much the same.

Went to get a pneumatic tool that the internet said they had. According to the store the website is constantly incorrect. Their register said they had 3 of the item but after they looked 3 times they did not have it . Went there several months ago for a particular jack. Same thing with the website being wrong as well. The only reason why they got the 3 stars was because they did try to help me. They need to get their inventory and website fixed.

Most miserable shopping experience of my life. They refused to sell plastic storage bins to me because they were using them to display merchandise. How about you use actual fixtures and sell your products to customers. Will definitely be going Menards and Lowes from now on. Never recommending this store to anyone. Absolute nonsense.

First time in new store. I wanted 1 of everything. My sister didn't know it was a tool store. She was pleasantly surprised.
