The best place in town to get your pets food. My chickens will forever love you. They produced all winter. My grandpa bill hammer before he passed would visit the store every month to stock up on his pets food and supplies. He didn't trust any other place but Garvers.

The workers are always nice and very considerate. I was having a horrible week and went in to Garver to get some puppy food and dewormer for 4 foster puppies I had just taken in. I realized I forgot my purse at home and only had $20 in my pocket and it was close to closing time. The employee was very understanding and let me pay the $20. That 1 moment that may not have been much to her, meant the world to me! Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart!

We get our bird and chicken feed from Garver Seed. Egg a Day, pellets or scratch form, oyster shell, and grit, pine shavings and straw. Also pond weed control stuff.. More of a personal experience for me. Reasonable prices..

Absolutely phenomenal! I went here with questions about dog food and I've got all the answers that I needed.... I even walked away with a couple of sample bags of dog food to feed my girls and I'm absolutely positive that I will be shopping here in the near future. Excellent staff makes you feel like you're at home and I wouldn't ask for anything better...

If I could give them a zero I would they're rude and crude and their prices are extremely high and I don't like them he basically told me to get out if I didn't want to buy anything and just wanted to know the prices he wouldn't even give me the prices they're not even priced you just buy and get out not going back ever

I have been buying my animal food at Garvers in Dacatur (same location) for right at 55 years.Always have great quality supplies at excellent prices and quick to answer any problems you may have with your pets or livestock. Even if you have a few "head of.. cattle, horses, goats, chickens, pigeons, rabbits, cats, dogs"(maybe rats, bats, Bats!? ....oh it rhymes), or whatever, this is the place to come. Stop in, tell 'em Dave sent you. Old time service with great knowledge of your needs.
