This store employees have horrible customer service they just look at you weird and the store is sooooo nasty u cant walk no where nothing is in the right spot and it smells bad

Terrible. Stinks inside. Lazy/Rude workers. The shelves and isles look like a teenagers dirty room. Everything just tossed together. Outside the building is nothing but trash everywhere. I walked in and walked black out without purchasing anything. Absolute disgrace of a business. Animal cages at the zoo aren't as discusting.

It was a Great place to shop. Now you have to watch the prices. I went in for denture cream. Shelf says $5. Rings up $6.25. shelf says $6. Rings up $6.50.Inform the cashier and one or two of the stock people. They just look at you like you said something in a different language. This has happened at the 2 on Pershing and the one on mound road. We all know everything went up. Change the tags. Otherwise it seems like your ripping people off

Very friendly cashiers and close to home. Always tidy and well stocked. Other DG stores have work to do in that area. Gladly will accept legit coupons.

I go there alot for every day household items rather than Walmart if I can. It's easier access & closer to my home. They get new items for a Terrific price all the time. Love it.

As a former manager of a retail store I understand that custermer service can often be the deciding factor where to shop for bargains. Dollor General always has the best price and selection of merchandise. I am Activity Director in an extended care facility in Decatur, IL. McKinley Court Care Centre does not just offer excellent care to Our Residents but we value our staff. I'm May we celebrate Nurses Week we have daily tokens of appreciation for each nurse. My time is limited and prefer one stop shopping and value priced gifts, Your manager Bobbi gave extraordinary custermer service. She did not just make the sale she went above and beyond. I am always grateful when someone complements my staff. Dollar General on Pershing is more organized than Dollar General on Mound Rd. I like Dollar General stores because I can get in and get out fast. Their prices may be a little bit more, but they are very handy.

Go to Dollar General at least 3 to 6 times a month. Great sales. Handy location and great staff.
