I wish i could give them negative stars. It would be a good place to open a pharmacy. I came to get my sister-in-laws prescription, because she can't drive. I came at 5:30 pm to get it,they said it was not ready. And they would call her name. I got back in line at 6:45 pm to see if I missed hearing call her name. At 7:01 pm I was told they are still working on it and I can pick it up tomorrow.

ZERO STARS!This is the worst Pharmacy in Danville. The lines/wait times are always ridiculously long with no explanation. Phones are automated and barely ever push the refills through when requested. You wait in line for 30-40 minutes after their system calls you telling you your medication is ready just to be told they have nothing for you and they can put the refill through then. There is absolutely no organization and the techs are always having a hard time finding the correct medication. This has gone on for almost 2 years+ with no changes, I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone especially if you need the medication in a hurry.

Wow. Just wow. This store has fallen off a cliff. Long waits, unfilled prescriptions blamed on app, personally say they fixed the problem and come back (still not done then), prescription is filled in app-then canceled before pickup, and some stay "in process" for weeks. Would change pharmacies, but they have been "temporarily closed" for at least 2 days. Been a customer for many years with at least decent service, but the last 6 months have been terrible because of wasted trips, multiple app/communication issues, and running out of meds.

They desperately need more staff. I don’t see why they wouldn’t staff more with the volume of customers, sales should be decent. I feel really sorry for the workers. I’m sure they deal with awful treatment from disgruntled customers. I understand why customers are upset, takes days to get medicine, wait for 30-45 mins in line to get it or it not be ready. More staff would fix this whole situation.

ALWAYS a very long line. Inside and drive-thru. Staff is over worked, and not very helpful due to high volume of patients 🙄.No concessions are made Inside for disabled or handicap. Only 3 chairs to sit, they are always occupied by "campers".I'm changing to CVS.

Terrible!!! Lines are way too long. Over 1/2 time they are “temporary closed”. That’s not okay. When a medication you request a refill cannot be filled yet due to insurance but you are not open when it can be filled and I am left with no meds. THAT IS NOT OKAY.Let’s not forget the multiple times we have been to the store and told to come back in 30 minutes, oh it’s not ready come back tomorrow. We will get that filled right away. Oh, we don’t even have that med in stock. All same experience. Same med. Same refill. They have had a new RX for four weeks. Everytime I call or try and pick it up. I get the run around.Either figure it out or stop taking refill orders. I have requested all my RX to go to another company…..

Same as everyone else. Prescription ordered, system showed it under “pharmacist review” for multiple days. Called pharmacy and was left on hold so long the phone system ended my call. Called back 2 days later and told very rudely that my prescription does not exist. I had to call my doctor and have my prescription sent to a pharmacy in a different city. They filled my prescription immediately. Glad it wasn’t a life-sustaining medication. I feel sorry for Danville residents who have no alternative. Never again.

Terrible pharmacist experience. I have been coming up there for two days getting the run around . First day I was told come back in a hour . I came back in 4 hrs the same day. the lady at the desk informed me it still wasn’t ready. She stated come back in 30 mins it’ll be ready . Came back the next lady informed me that they didn’t have the medicine in stock at all so she would order it . I asked when should I come back she stated the next day it should be ready. I came back the next day at 11:30 . Women at the desk stated I see it in the system , they’re getting it ready now. I waited 30 minutes and came back . The lady informed me that medicine was not in stock . I informed her that the women I spoke to said she ordered it. She went and talk to the pharmacist and they came up with that the medicine had been order but won’t be in until the 25 of august. Now I’m overly irritated because why wasn’t that communicated so I wouldn’t be looking for medicine that I need to be ready. then I asked so now what . She gave me a sticky note informed me that I would need to call around to all the pharmacies out here to figure out who has it and they can fill it that way. So unprofessional and just no care for the patients health. This is medicine that I need not want and to be getting the run around like this is unacceptable.

They need more staff in the Pharmacy department. Especially with the only Walgreens in our area. Takes 30 minutes for someone to answer the phone. Please get this fixed.

Had the worse experience. Never had a problem until Wednesday/Thursday. Walk in sent in a script in at 5pm Wed. It said it would be done 630. Then it says there's a delay. Fine I was hoping it would be filled before the pharmacy closes nope. Noon rolls around Thursday and still no script.so I try calling and get put on the endless hold. It took me going down there 24hrs after the script was sent to get it filled. Now his pediatrician sent in a couple new scripts this at 9 and they still aren't done at 330. Saying they are delayed again. I called she went to transfer me to the pharmacist and I got put on hold again.

Put 3 prescriptions in for refills on Monday by Friday I am still waiting on 2 of them. Called and was put on hold for a hour to only be disconnected, called back sat on hold for 30 minutes and got a message saying they were now closed.Called corporate told them what was going on. Only to be told someone would call me back.Called the store to talk to anyone in Management. The person I spoke with kept covering the phone talking to someone else. She then told me she was going back to the pharmacy to see if anyone was available to talk to me. The phone was picked up, put on hold without anyone saying anything I was put on hold again. The phone was picked up again and someone hung up on me.I called back again and with out hello or anything someone said ma'am you can head this way.So they have caller ID and decided not to answer calls?

I think it's pathetic to make your customers wait this long. Some of us have injuries that prevent us from standing on your concrete floor. I’ve been using Walgreens for over a decade and moved to Illinois temporarily. In the span of a year, I have nothing but bad experiences with their pharmacy. Refusing flu shots to veterans while they’re still accepting tri-care and never filling prescriptions on time. On average they’ve been 24 to 36 hours late filling prescriptions. Maybe the BBB can help them.

10 days waiting on a prescription and still not filled. The day it is supposed to be done will be two weeks. They’ve cancelled it twice and restarted it to hide how late it is. I’m now out of my script. Never answer their phone so I have to drive in there to ask about updates. They are clearly overwhelmed and need some kind of help.

I understand walgreens being short staffed. However something needs to be done in the way the pharmacy functions. It could be ran more efficiently for answering phones calls and drive and inside. It is apparent that the staff they have doesn't want to be there at all. They take there sweet time at all station as if they are in slow motion. Attention to detail is imperative but come on. You call in you refill on Wednesday and they tell you it will be ready on thur6after 13 pm and on Friday you goto pick it up and it's still not ready. Then change the message that tells you it will be ready on Thursday it's not rocket science. POOR CISTOMER SERVICE when you are on hold for over 30 mins. I would change rx if my insurance would allow it.

I get it, work is hard and corporate wants to make money. But let's try and staff better to avoid long waits at pharmacy. It's not fair to customer or staff to be so under staffed. This happens every time I come here. Staff in pharmacy are nice....but there is never enough help

Waited 2 hours before going to pick up a simple order of amoxicillin for my 1 year old.Waited in drive thru line for 30 minutes , just to be told it wasn't ready and they could have someone work on it if I wanted to come inside and wait another 30 minutes ! I said no that's not going to work considering I just waited 30 minutes in line with my sick 1 year old in car with me!

Always a horrible experience with the pharmacy. Been issued the wrong scripts numerous times and been told well it not our fault that's what they sent in. And I'm just out the copay. I thought that was the point of a pharmacist going to school. To make sure people get the right stuff so their health is not put in jeopardy. If all they need to do is fill the number and product the doctor said then wouldn't it be more cost efficient to have 2nd graders do it.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Every time I drop off or call in a prescription I am told a time for pick-up. I return at designated time only to wait in line for up to a half hour only to find out that the order is not ready, and sometimes it will not be ready until the next day. I can understand messing up on occasion, but this is every time. I have tried to call pharmacy before to ask questions about a prescription only to be put on hold for 2 hours, only the have the person answering hang up the phone before they even said hello!I travel extensively, and have never had trouble with any other Walgreens. District or regional office should do something to correct this terrible problem.

I go here because I'm physically disabled and it's close even though it's more expensive. Went in to get a product I knew they had because I was there earlier but didn't get it. I ask the store manager"Doug" if he could get it for me because it didn't get stocked. He immediately said they were out of it. I informed him I was here earlier and they had it. He seemed irritated I told him that. What do you know he found it in back and handed it to me with disgust. Wasn't happy he lied to me and was to lazy to check. He definitely needs training or to be removed. He's supposed to be a leader but apparently he's a punk. I know retail is crazy because I did it for 40 years. I'll definitely try to avoid the business if I can .

This pharmacy is a joke. Was told an hour for my prescription, 2 hours later I called and they said 20 min so I drove in town to get it to be told 20 min…. It has bow been over an hour and still not done. It wouldn’t be as bad if they weren’t the rudest people I think I’ve ever dealt with.

I used to love using this Walgreen's pharmacy, it was always accuracy and friendly. However, for the last several months every time that I come to pick up my prescription there is always some issue. It's either not correct or there has been some miscommunication amongst the staff or there is some reason that I cannot get what I was told was ready or would be ready. This is so discouraging!!

Rx received Friday morning, I’ve called every day and when they say they will check on it they put me on hold forever (literally 40+ minutes of it saying “these is one caller ahead of you”) They confirmed they have the medication in stock. Still haven’t gotten my prescription. Will not use this pharmacy anymore.

The worst experience ive had to date with a pharmacy,they r not well educated or informative none of then kno wat they r doing,they pass the buck and I swear the neglectful manner in the way they handled my sitution scares me as they could literally harm or kill someone with how many mistakes they can make with no compassion or ownership of them which means they don't see a problem so I doubt they r trying to fix their issues & behaviors....i recommend finding any other pharmacy even if u gotta go thru Amazon over this store! Ur life may depend on it.. This store should make the Walgreens corporation be fearful of lawsuit for sure to come their way & that is my absolute truthful opinion

They are too busy and short handed to care about their customers. There is a shortage of pharmacies in the area and they know this, it allows them some buffer room too not care about the customers. To bad CVS doesn't except my insurance.

Been a long time walgreens customer. I recently switched to this location and have never been more disappointed. Never have i had issues with receiving prescription ready notifications only to show up and it not be ready. Even having called before driving 30 mins to confirm just to be told its still not ready. The price is constantly wrong because i guess looking at prior scripts doesnt make sense. Not once in my 6 visits to this location has anything been ready or correct. Here i come CVS. Maybe if they loose enough business walgreens corporate will take notice and help with the issues

One of the worse Walgreens ever! Answer your phones! Stop putting people on hold for over 15 mins and after being on hold for so long they terminate the call and say they are close for Lunch! What is that all about I was on hold for 15 mins and then they terminate the call. ANSWER YOUR PHONES STOP PUTTING PEOPLE ON HOLD FOR OVER 15 minutes!

Worst pharmacy ever. Unprofessional to point they gave my sons narcotic prescription to someone else allegedly (most likely in his pocket or friends). Over 2 hour wait with multiple trips in between the theft with the police being called by us. We now have to get a replacement prescription and hope insurance will cover it again. Wouldn't recommend this pharmacy to anyone even if last resort. Only came because cvs was out of stock. Huge regret.
