I don't normally stop at chain restaurants while traveling but this is a different circumstance. The crew there is ALWAYS very accommodating, friendly and professional. There were a few times I frustratingly ordered from the wrong location and they have ALWAYS made my life much easier by taking my order there. No fuss, no mas. Most of the Steak 'n Shakes I have dealt with had the mentality, "too bad, so sad, drive to the location you ordered at and pick it up." If I make a mistake on my order, they accommodate me immediately and I pay the difference, I have no problem with that. These people do need to definitely be acknowledged for their hard work. Thanks again!

Store has really gone down hill , they did away with happy hour 1/2 price shakes, you have to ask for a spoon with a shake, often they forget the whipped cream and cherry. Also inside nowait staff you order via a kiosk and fetch your food when it comes up, used to be a better place!

I asked for 2 triple cheeseburgers one with ketchup only & one with mustard pickle and onions SUBSTITUTE onions for DICED onions and I get my order & it is messed up not once not twice but THREE TIMES & my burger is SOGGY I will not be returning completely irritating !! Not a happy customer my fiancé worked there for 8 years & could have shown them how to do their jobs

The food was great as always. The waitress did bring our food to us but we had to order through a kiosk which was a pain in the butt. I hadn't been in there since everything changed. It would have been much easier for somebody to take our order. I don't think we would have stopped if I had known that before we did. It wasn't a cheap order although our order was pretty simple so it seemed like they raised the price. I wasn't real crazy about that either. I know inflation has caused everything to go up lately. It's hard to find a good deal. A better deal on the food might bring me back.

Their cheeseburgers are quite amazing. The french fries are super skinny but they are very good. A nice crisp and chew. Milkshake was top notch. My only actual complaint is they installed self order machines so the employees only pay attention to the food cooking process and I felt it was a little impersonal. And in my mind those machines should allow the humans working to do more customer service that to me is the purpose of a self -ordering machine. That being said, the customer service was not very good because the employees did not expect to have to talk to the customer. But I do expect them to work the kinks out and I'm sure management will understand what they are supposed to do with that system.

I made sure to mention several times that none of our beverages should have ice in them. I have REALLY sensitive teeth and gums, and if a drink is too cold, I feel a sharp stabbing sensation all over 😞 It really hurts. Any way, all of the drinks I ordered came with ice.For fast food, this place was pretty yummy!In comparison to other Steak and Shakes, this place was probably the best site I've visited, honestly!And for staff, the people I met here were really nice!
