Sean Ray is EXCEPTIONAL in his work! This is the 4th trip to my house to try and eradicate yellow jacket next near my front door. The first three visits were not done very well. Asian lady beetles were swarming our house! We contacted our usual guy, only to find that he retired and so we were connected to Smithereen. I was hesitant to use a company I had never heard of, and out of state headquarters; but they sent Sean for our service and my husband and I were very impressed with his experience and professionalism. He’s a good listener and knows what he’s doing. Those pesky brown beetles have mostly died and now it’s rare to see even one a week; usually in the process of dying. Thanks Sean, great work!

He remembered that I had access to my crawl space on the outside of my house so he was able to get the inspection done without me being there. Your technician Sean did a great job and has really helped me getting this all figured out. We used to be with pioneer and my understanding is your company took over so I called them right away because it was time for my termite renewal which I had a contract with them. And I was told by Smithereen they would honor and charge the same prices as pioneer which they’re not .😡So whoever I talk to you then I told them I was ready for my yearly inspection so they sent a technician out and when I was reviewing the bill it was not for my yearly inspection it was just a regular schedule service. So I called again that person told me no I did not have a contract. So I wasn’t covered for a contract. They argued with me and told me I didn’t and I argued back and said yes I do I’m looking at my contract right now and my new renewal was due in September 2021.I hung up called the next day got a hold of Sean he looked it up and he said oh I’m so sorry ma’am whoever told you that was wrong you do have a contact. So since I never got my turn on my renewal done I called Sean yesterday and he came right over and did it and at the same time I had another Regular schedule PC service done. And I always paid $85 for the Turn on my renewal yearly and $68. Three times a month. So no you are not honoring like you had told me in the beginning Pioneer pest control prices I was charge $100 yesterday just to have the regular scheduled Home guard plus. Which I was only paying $68 with Pioneer. So now I can only afford to have you come three times a year for the exterior service where before I was having pioneer come four times a year. So I’m very unhappy with your customer care but I did like the technician Sean. I highly doubt that I would ever recommend your company and I have pioneer get a lot of Business from my friends.Services: Termite inspection, General pest inspection

I needed my one cat home treated for fleas. I was told there would be two treatments included in the quoted pricing. I had to wait for the local tech to call to be scheduled. He arrived within the time block he gave me. He was clear on what was required for their warrenty. He informed me that he would only be back if there were still fleas in two weeks. 13 days later I called to inform them there are still fleas after doing everything required for their warranty. I was told that the local tech would be in touch to set up returning. Days passed so I called again and was assured management would contact me the next day, Thursday, if not able to that same day. Nothing. I called the following afternoon, Friday, and was only able to leave a message since they closed before 3:30pm. Now it is Wednesday and still noone has called me. I am out hundreds of dollars and am still dealing with fleas.

We've had a great experience with Smithereen for our termite troubles! We called Monday morning after waking up to find swarmers in our home. They sent Sean out later that day to assess the situation and he was able to come out Thursday to exterminate. Sean was very thorough and looked in all the places we've seen the swarmers and also the places they're known to come from. After his initial assessment, he consulted with his boss to make sure they had a solid plan for treatment. The technician determined that there were NO active termite colonies. He could have easily said that we had termites, and charged us for treatment, but he didn't. Someone came out and took pictures of my property, threatened to come back when I was not home, then gave me bid for a monthly service of 125$ a month to spray a very small residents, i believe this to be way over priced and. I am now scared of what these people working for this company are going to do.
