The store was clean and orderly and well stocked. The associates are friendly and knowledgeable and eager to help you and I always joke around with them and get some great laughs in and they can dish it right back at you with no qualms. It's just great hometown customer service that you don't get in bigger cities and it brightens your day. Always great value for your money. Download the Dollar General App and you'll find everything that is on sale, special deals, coupons, discounts and the digital coupons are great. You can load them in the app and at checkout you just enter your phone number in the register access panel and the system will automatically enter all of your digital coupons during checkout and they'll be recorded on your receipt. After your receipt prints you'll get another receipt inviting you to do a survey and be registered for gift card giveaways and you'll get another receipt with a coupon good for the next upcoming Saturday for $5.00 off of your $25.00 purchase and this coupon is only good for that specific Saturday and that's a great deal. There is in-store WI-FI available for no cost so you can use the app with ease while you're shopping so you don't have to use your precious and with some cell phone carriers your costly data and the WI-FI is faster anyway. We're often surprised when shopping by a lot of the things Dollar General stocks on their shelves that we need and haven't seen at other stores. It's really kinda like a mini super center store , you know like the biggest one that I needn't name here, but more convenient. One thing that we always get when we shop here is the big bag of Miniature Reeses Cups, our all-time favorite we just can't live without, because Dollar General does have the lowest price of any store we have ever shopped at and quite often there are great coupons for them and you can't beat that. Dollar General is one of our favorite stores to shop and wonder up and down the aisles and we always end up with a few impulse buy items that we just gotta have. Customer service is out of this world nice especially the young lady Crystal and the other young lady think her name is Gerri. The store for the most part is organized. Unless you go in on truck day. But over all good people work at this store

The only problem I had was that I couldn't take the cart outside. Everything was in an order that made it easy to get what I needed in a timely manner. The cashier was extremely nice and friendly, and that was a welcomed change from other places I have been to recently.

Doesn't really matter now because they just redid the store. But they will have one line open that will have 10 people in line and no other employees help this cashier. Not enough employees because Everytime I would go in to get a couple items, they would always be out. And you can't find an employee to look for you in the back, which I don't believe. TEAM WORK IS WHAT THEY NEED. NOT EVERYONE FOR THEMSELVES!

The cashier was very rude!!! Acted like I was a inconvenient rolled her eyes at me. I work for McDonald's our customers the most important people who visit our place and we treat them with nothing but RESPECT THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT OUR GUESTS DESERVE NOTHING LESS. I like making quick stops at this store...it is convienant and organized. This store frequently has an overstock of new items including trending clothes & apparel. The employees are friendly & helpful as well as attentive and fast...4-5 star dollar store. The location is great!

As usual, they had exactly what I needed. The store was clean and service was fast. Maylea is super friendly and quick on her feet. She's definitely the best choice to run that store!! Thanks for having what I needed while I was in town.

Not all Dollar Generals are bad, but this one had terrible customer service. Their prices were wrong, but they did not want to honor them. The part that irritated me the most was how the cashier handled the situation. He literally held the bag up to my face and was like, "Look, the price is right here." The price on the bag of chips didn't match the price they had in the display. Since they do have sales, this didn't strike me as odd. I will never visit this store again. It is worth the extra 15 minutes of driving to go to Walmart.

Store not stocked. Rolling flats with boxes everywhere. Very unsafe. I know it's hard to get help. But please do a overnight stocking of the shelves. It would be less expensive. If customer gets hurt n sued company. We say Customers are #1...not at ur store.

The store smelled of marijuana and the customers were were volger and rude and the employees with the exception of 1 were more worried about conversation then customer service. The 1 employ that was nice and ringing up customers was worried about flirting with the girls he thought was cute. I will never return to this store!!

It was dirty as hell the parking lot was like a war zone broken glass and trash every where would never go back nor would I recommend anyone to go there just dirty. Disorganized clutter. I just don't understand how come they can't clean the parking lot up and the store.

Great back to school supplies and deals. I shop here alot. They tend to run out of stuff alot since county market closed and the lines are always huge. With rude cashiers. Cart policy is outrageous.

They try. Usually only one person working and seemed stressed out but I would too I suppose. 4 outta 5 employees that I've had interaction with were very friendly plus it's DG and they are priced within reason on most things and they usually have what I'm looking for

For a store only a year.or so old the set up inside this store is a disaster. Lacking organization. Been in a few other newer DG stores that were much be organized and neatly stocked. Hope they make this one better!

2 stars because of the fact they have 3 registers and at least 4 employees working and only one of them is ever on a register until they have a 10 person line. Why have all the registers and nobody working them. Isn't the store supposed to be stocked late night or early morning!!!?? SMH

In the past six months this place had went down hill.When I go in there it's a mess and always feel rushed. Went in there at night and they were extremely rude because they were five min. Late closing and then the next time I went in the cashier looked right at me while I was asking a question then ignored me. They always rush you and act very inpatient

Can't review DG every time I go or I would spend too much time doing reviews. DG is my go-to place for sooo many things, cleaning & paper supplies, tons of odds & ends from aspirin to zip ties. I always buy my cold meds there (can't beat the prices). One of the few places that doesn't have the stupid loyalty point programs, instead you get low prices all the time. Returns (the very few I have had) are easy & painless.

Yeah the Dollar General in Danville was a good store except for the guy when he recommended some cigarettes for me he gave me cigars there were like cigarettes other than that everybody else was very helpful

It's dirty. Real dirty. I was there to buy a few snacks for work. And a guy just walk straight out the doors with six things of detergent in his hands and didn't pay for them and told the person that's a register to f off b word LOL I was dying

Always low or out of products I usually buy. Store not as clean as most Dollar General stores as high traffic volume and too few employees. Layout of aisles and height of shelves likely encourage shoplifting.

Because they dont know how to put stock away, they wont let u use their bathroom because they never have the key to it someone takes off with ir and doesnt return after using, they have carts in the middle of the aisles.

Not much to really say. It's Dollar general, not a whole lot to really expect. when you need something quickly this is a good place to go, they have decent prices and a fairly good selection of goods.
