We stayed one night while traveling during Thanksgiving week. First of all, our heater/air conditioner did not work at all. It (in room #218) was plugged in but not one light would even light up. We called the front desk and she came up and looked at it but could not do anything to help us get heat. The breakfast was very mediocre. The eggs and sausage were barely warm. The tater tots were barely cooked. There was no yogurt even though there was a picture in the breakfast area promoting it. I would recommend checking things out thoroughly before staying at the "Not Best Western".

The room smelled like smoke when I entered. I didn’t report it because I thought they would have known about it when they cleaned the room before me. The smell went away soon so we stayed. Now I’m being charged an extra $200 because they claim it smelled like smoke after I left. They are such scam artists!! I am so mad because I don’t smoke nor have I ever and to claim it was me is so wrong!!!!

I’ve been staying here after the Indy 500 for over a decade. Great hotel but at the end of the day it’s a Best Western so keep your expectations tempered. Clean and friendly staff, and rooms are relatively modern. Rooms have coffee makers which seem to be disappearing at other hotels. Free breakfast is standard fare but is pretty good compared to other hotel “free breakfasts” (sausage, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, etc).This place is right off the interstate, the area is kind of run down but safe. Next to a McDonald’s, there is also a Mexican restaurant down the street that is mediocre but always seems busy.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Riverside Inn, and while the staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a king suite since they didn't have a king room available, the overall experience left something to be desired. The room itself was clean and tidy, but unfortunately, the bed was far from comfortable – it seemed caved in and uneven. The jacuzzi tub, while present, was tucked away in a corner without any decorative elements, making it feel lackluster. The hardware throughout the room could use a refresh, and the window was in need of repair, with a piece of wood trim simply lying on the sill. The window was even painted shut, and some of the locks were hanging off. These issues detracted from what could have been a more enjoyable stay.

Windows should be fully operational, Not disabled or sealed. The bathing supplies should be better labeled. Could not identify any hand soap. Room ventilation should be improved as far as fans and fan speed adjustments. Fan speed should be increased so airflow is better felt further away from a/c units.Staff was decent tempered.

Great place to lay your head.The websites showed them as having no rooms available but a quick call got us a room in no time. Fast and convenient check in.Nobody at the desk for us to check out and as we had to run, just left out key in the available box and left. It would have been nice to confirm we'd checked out more officially though it seems no harm done.Room was a regular king. Chair, bed, bathroom.Coffee machine, iron and board etc.No working batteries in the TV remote but really couldn't be bothered to go back to deal with that minor inconvenience.The biggest problem we encountered was the bath not draining as we took a shower. We'd have mentioned it on check out, however, as mentioned above, there seemed to be nobody around.In all, a comfortable and convenient stay. Next time we need to spend the night in the area I'm sure it will be here.Rooms: Spacious and comfortable. Fridge, coffee machine and I believe a microwave, though we didn't use that.Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast included pancakes, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, Danish pastry and much more. Hot coffee and cold juice too.

The lady at the desk named Grace was very unfriendly and was not at all dressed professionally. Nose piercing and tattoos are not professional and skull tshirt. The pancake Mach bag was not in properly we asked her to check it , no bacon or biscuits, very little gravy & both milks were almost empty and it was only 9:00am. After we sat there for 40 minutes, a very sweet cleaning lady named Billie fixed the pancake machine for us and went above and beyond to help us. The whole time we were there the girl at the desk was very unfriendly! The carpet in the room needs to be shampooed professionally, we wore socks and shoes because it was very dirty and our feet were black. The day of check in the blond headed girl that helped us was very nice & friendly. A little pricey for quality.Walkability: Restaurants in walking distance.

The expectations for anywhere under $100/night should be low. That being said, the staff gets 5 stars, very welcoming and helpful, but our room and at first glance the hotel in general was pretty filthy. Again, with already low expectations, at least the sheets and towels were clean, but the carpets weren't vacuumed and the bathroom had plenty of evidence from previous guests.The following mornings I saw a few employees cleaning rooms, but it was clear there was too much work for the few women working alone on each floor.My take away was that this Best Western has a friendly and dedicated staff during a time when finding employees is not an easy task, and the existing staff is fairly overwhelmed.They all deserve a raise.

The room was not clean, set up was weird(there was no sink in the bathroom). Our door did not lock properly, we were never offered a different room. Staff was friendly and for the most part helped where they could. Theresa was very friendly and helped alot. Breakfast was good. It was a great location. Easy to get to and plenty places to eat around.

We had a terrible day traveling & thankful they held our room. However, when I called to let them know we wouldnt arrive til after 11, they never mentioned there was no hot water. At all! We did get a price cut & the beds were comfy. They do charge $100 to your credit card til they check the room that you didn’t steal anything. Said it’ll be refunded in 24 hrs. No furniture in rooms either. Just beds to sit on.

Staff are very friendly, service has been excellent and very clean place. We came to check in, and they let us know it would be a 10 minute wait due to sanitation guidelines. Absolutely fine with that and we actually got to see them sanitizing and cleaning.We had a king size bed, couch, TV, and fridge. Room is beautiful and quite large.(see pictures) plenty of space for a couple getaway or a small family with kids to stay.They have their hot breakfast open again and I'm sure it will be delicious in the morning. We will definitely be staying here again any time we come to Danville.

It was great!!! We swam in the pool both days, watched the cable/satellite! The only thing we weren't happy about was the hot water for showers was a little warmer than Luke warm. The only complaint. Everything else was great! Breakfast was pretty good too and all day coffee for the coffee lovers!

Just a spur of the moment stop on our way to our vacation spot, completely unplanned, but we wanted to rest as we'd been driving for 7 hours. They didn't require reservations, had no problem getting checked in, the room was super nice with several charging ports. They had an outdoor pool THAT WAS OPEN, and a hot free breakfast. And they were very reasonably rated at less than $110 for the p.m.Walkability: In walking distance was a McDonald, literally just a few yards from our rooms. Several gas stations, Dollar Tree, Liquor Stores and even found a Wal-Mart. It was easy peasy getting a late p.m. pizza delivered, and no one gave me dirty looks when we all went outside to smoke cigarettes!!!Wi-fi: They have FREE WIFI, & give you the log in info at check in. Never lost the signal and had no issues doing reports on my laptop.

Very nice hotel, would stay here again! We had a 1 - 2 queen beds room. The room at was nice and vanity was outside the bathroom, which was also a plus. The water pressure for the shower rivaled my one at home. The upgraded tap keycard system also shows this hotel is staying up to date. And lastly the Receptionist was really nice to us even though we checked in at 11pm.

Well, ya get what ya pay for I guess. $130 for 1 night and while it was modern and pretty, it wasn't the cleanest. Found hairs in the bathroom, crumbs around the carpet and bed skirts full of stains... If only I had a luminescent light I might have yiked. And most importantly, the bed was terrible. We both woke up stiff and aching. I had numb arms and hip pain all night so I was tossing and turning and barely slept. Also, there were no towels in our room. On the bright side, the water gets hot and excellent shower pressure.

Staff is always very friendly. Rooms are nice & clean. Our room did not have a microwave our last (2) stays. Our last stay they put one in the room this time they didn't bring it up to us or call us. Our room only had one towel also. If it wasn't for those (2) things we would of had another excellent stay.Great customer service usually.

Have stayed here a couple of times. Some of the minor details regarding the decor are a bit dated (e.g., the old-school phones in the rooms as well as the bathroom layout which reminds me of Super 8), but most of the decor has been updated. It's clean, the breakfast was good, and you can't beat the price.

Here's my honest review :) We had a good stay overall. The inside is newly remodeled. Our room was nice and clean. The only issues (not even really issues..just things I wished were different and why I'm only giving 4 stars) were that there was no elevator...so this meant multiple trips up and down stairs to carry in luggage and unfortunately there were quite a few people checking in so it was a bit congested. If you have a lot of luggage or large suitcase like us as we travel for work or if you have a family member who can't climb steps this could be an issue..and it makes it rough after a long day.. Also, they don't have comforters/duvets on the beds which I thought was a tad strange. They only have sheets and these thin felt type blankets..I got cold and ended up asking for another blanket and the kind gentleman at the desk provided me one. The ladies in the morning were also nice and helpful. For the price it was worth it overall. If we were passing through we would more than likely stay again.

I stayed here for 3 nights on a work trip. The hotel staff was friendly at check in and even showed me where I could park as the lot was very full on my arrival. There was a hot breakfast available with coffee, juice, some fruit, pancakes, eggs, gravy and biscuits and sausage. The room was clean however; I was surprised to see a shortage of towels in the room. I would later have to ask for more towels as my room was not serviced at all during my stay. My room did not have a microwave but there was one in the breakfast area for use which makes me believe none of the rooms have them. The water pressure in the shower was good however; the drains would make a loud noise when not in use for reasons unknown to me. The overall cleanliness of the hotel could use some work as the floors were always in need of vacuuming and housekeeping carts were in the hallways for hours at a time with no housekeeper in sight.

Convenient location and friendly staff. The room walls were pretty thin, we could hear when the people in the room next door were using the bathroom. :(They also didn't refill the breakfast items. We got downstairs for breakfast before 9am, and all of the hot items, juices, and bagels were gone. I completely understand not cooking a fresh pan of eggs when breakfast service is almost over, but I would have expected them to at least keep the easily-restockable items refilled until breakfast service was over.

I have a big family event once a year on memorial day. My family drove six hours and we had originally eight rooms booked at the best Western Regency in on Lynch Road. This hotel has been without water for a week and didn’t tell us until we came to check in. I chose to stay at the best western Riverside Inn and the rate was double and they had no handicap accessible rooms. The front desk person (Teresa) was amazing she showed me three different rooms so I could have an idea of what I was paying for and after I told her my story she called the manager and got us a great rate I don’t have to drive back home six hours. She made my day unbelievable!!!!!!
