Rip off warning: Stay away if you like your hard earned money. This corporation is in trouble if they charge these prices and treat their customers like this. I've never been ripped off so bad as I have at PetSmart today. I've gone there a few times with my other poodle over the last few years and the prices were normal not great but typical. this time apparently the prices have changed and now they are a complete rip off. I've never paid this much for a grooming. It's by far the most expensive convoluted pricing scheme place to get your dog groomed. I've had the feeling that groomers are starting to take advantage of pet owners because of the love they have for their pets but these guys have gone way over the top. Groomers in general seem to be high on their own ether but these guys definitely are the worst.There are hundreds of groomers out there that charge normal prices. Find one that's decently priced and use them instead of this corporate bunch of hucksters

My dog has been staying at the Pet Hotel for a few years and would definitely recommend. She is a timid and shy dog by nature and it takes a while for her to warm up to people…but when we walk into the hotel to check in she is wagging her tail and jumping all around for the staff. The staff genuinely care about the dogs that stay. The IG posts and stories are just perfect too! - you can see all the fun the dogs are having!

I will not be recommending this location to anyone. My dogs have gotten their haircuts at PetSmart crystal lake since moving to this area 3 years ago. The first year was fine, but it’s gone downhill since. There have been multiple times I’ve given my dogs up to the groomers, saying no to every single add on, then showed up later to have the deluxe pampering package added on (additional $25 for each dog). When they ask which phone number to call for pickup, I confirm, yet they still call the wrong phone number on the account every single time. One visit I asked for a bath and brush only, later to come grab my dogs completely shaved down. I called the manager afterwards to talk, and never received a call back after a team member said my information was taken down. Not only do they hold zero accountability to their failures, the team blames how busy the store is every single time on the lack of attention they give to the owners instructions. We’ve had a sprinkle of good haircuts in the last three years, but that doesn’t make up for the constant mistakes that are easily avoided. I’ve given this location too many chances to fix the issues and even brought it up to the manager since she seemed like she cares, but the issues don’t stop.

We've been taking our dog (beagle/Bassett) here for 10+ years. They always treat him wonderful. We've never had a single issue after pickup. Pictures get posted to their social media. You can call and check whenever you want. All the staff have been extremely nice and you can tell they really love animals.

This isn’t the right address. In fact I was really confused, thought maybe they closed down at the other location where they are still located correct address is: 4465 US-14, Crystal Lake, IL 60014, sits between Ollies an Home Depot!! There is a dollar tree and OfficeMax not far in same plaza.

I called on a Monday and wanted to board my two dogs for the following 4 days. Was quoted a price including food for 1 dog and was shocked to learn kong treats and daily walks were extra... So 31 dollars a day per dog gets a caged dog while we were away for a short vacation? The girl who was there when we picked up our dogs claimed to know nothing about the bill and had no power to adjust it and didn't seem to care either way.... Petshotel is just like Petsmart in general...overpriced and overutilized just because their name recognition.. My doga vacation ended up costing me 350.00 more than i spent on my own trip. Do not recommend

My dog loves Petsmart PetsHotel with day camp. He comes back so happy, playful, and exhausted.While it is a bit expensive, I would rather have a happy dog. We used to board elsewhere and he would get sick every time due to stress.

My lil dog Poquito loves getting groomed here but my other small dog Minnie just refuses to allow anyone to groom her lol 😆 but yet they both love going through the store and making me spend lots of money lol 😆

Quite expensive, but excellent care was taken with my senior dog, so I didn't mind as much about the price.
