We take our dog to the grooming salon at Petsmart. Scott does an amazing job and is always a pleasure to work with. He seems very engaged and passionate about what he does. Plus, he loves our dog! The staff are very helpful throughout the store, and they always have products in stock. I love that they have a cat adoption area and promote pet rescues.

Shoutout to an assosciate named Hailey who helped my wife and I get set-up as first time fish parents. She answered all of our initial questions, made great suggestions based on our budget, and has since been a resource of immense knowledge as we develop pur tank further. I can not hype this Petsmart location enough. Best errand of my week, hands down.

I took my two dogs as a walk-in to get nails grinded. Brian the groomer was not good at handling my small dogs and pulled too hard hurting their necks. Brian doesn’t seem to have the patience to get the job done right. The nails were still long. There are other groomers here that are better.

*Updated review: I still would give each individual groomer here 5 stars, but unfortunately the review is of the business and not the people who work here! I have updated my review from 5 stars down to 3 simply for the HORRIBLE amount of overbooking they do here. My dog ended up being here for over 5 hours the last time we brought her. She was clearly not taken outside to go potty and she ended up having diarrhea all over the floor of their toys section after we picked her up. We were told she would be done in 2 hours and then didn't even get any calls to update us. After 3.5 hours passed, I called them and they said they would give me a call in 30 minutes once they finished drying her. They never called so I called them again after another hour and they said she was finally ready. If your dog has any anxiety please do not take them here! The prices here are no cheaper than pet spas. I bring my dog to Cocos Pet Spa in Lake in the Hills now and we LOVE IT! Highly recommend.Took our sweet Pumpkin here for her first grooming experience! She is 8 months old, very anxious, and a high strung aussie mix with a big personality! All I have to say is we are SO IMPRESSED with the treatment of our dog. Ava took extra time with Pumpkin to make sure she felt safe and loved during the experience and left us with a super clean and happy pup! Will take her back here every time to Ava! Would highly recommend pet smart grooming and especially recommend Ava for your dogs :)

Always on the lookout for a beautiful fish and found a group of gorgeous Golden Severums. Weeks later it's like a little sliver of sunshine in the aquarium. Staff didn't ask questions but neither did I. They were very efficient in bagging the exact fish I wanted and getting me on my way asap. I try to do business at small local pet shops but I will spread my business around when the chains are run right and have healthy stock.

Go elsewhere for grooming!!! Last four trips, exact same service, four different prices and absolutely no rationale for it. They don't book their own appointments so they blame the schedulers. There is no sense of speed with their movements and they overbook frequently. Last grooming they didn't even properly clean her rear area. Add in a couple of rude staff, not all but some, and I wouldn't waste my 80+ dollars on substandard service!

Great place to take your dog to have a bath, nails cut teeth brushed, etc. Have been taking our 129 lb. Weimaraner there for the last 6 months from a friend of ours that's had his dog groomed for a couple of years. Our groomer is Ashley, She has a great attitude and I noticed how she treats the dogs as if they were hers. I also noticed that they have a great team of people there. The other team members seem to have a personalrelationship with every pet the take care of. You can get just about anything that you need in the store for your pet or hobby and if you follow them close enough you can find some good deals. You also accumulate points in products and services. They have a great team of individuals working there. Easy in and easy out with no problem on parking. Ashley and her team is a AAA+ Group.

I would put 0 stars but it does not give that option. I took my 2 dogs to get their nails trimmed. The groomer was not professional at all. He was pulling hard on my dogs neck to to reach the nails. My dog has not acted like this before, she was throwing up because her neck was being pulled too hard, usually my dog is super cool and does not care about getting her nails done. She was super scared. Was not able to get my other dog in due to rabies not being valid, even though it’s due in 2025… 10/10 would NOT recommend this place.

Petsmart is not a Pit breed friendly location for the pet hotel or doggy camp. One of our dogs has previously been here for dog camp and overnight stay and was never an issue. We booked the reservation for our two dogs without any problems, their age and breed was communicated during the booking. Both are lab/American staff mix. During the morning of drop off it was communicated they would be excluded from group play because of their Pit breed regardless of their good history with Petsmart. The manager later called to explain how their policies are being enforced and any Pit breed is excluded from group play regardless of previous stays. Do you research and understand the policies because our Pitties deserve better.

Good customer service, good variety, most things are well priced, clean and organized. No complaints.I went in to buy nightcrawlers for my ornate wood turtles but the worms were dead and the employee apologized for the inconvenience and got me a fresh case.Judging from how ferociously they ripped those worms up I want to say they were good quality.

Called to ask about an item I had been looking for at multiple different stores, automatic voice on call let me know they cannot do stock checks as they are helping other customers but the employee that answered the phone was more than happy to help me. She ensured the product was there and even gave me the price and product details before I made my way out there. Very clean store and friendly staff !

If your pet is greeting groomed @ that Pet Smart location in Crystal Lake make sure if there is something you don't like ect. Prepare to be talked to rudely & unwelcome to that location. Today Ashley one of the groomers told me I wasn't welcome in the groomer anymore 1st of all I'm not the pet getting groomed. It is my dog getting groomed. I believe that customer/client should always be talked to respectfully. The same way she was talking loud to me, I was talking loud to her, but there is no way you being the manager can talk to someone rudely if anything she should've grabbed a supervisor. It all started because she hung up the phone on me and I drove to the groomer to talk to someone above her and thankfully he was there when she told me that in other words, my dog is not welcome in the groomer due to an incident that happened June 25, 2022, which my vet said the incident was most likely do to a bacteria he picked up there & unfortunately caused him to have those bald spots. I did talk to corporation and I'm hoping that someone teaches her a lesson because there is no ways to talk to customers like that & first of all you don't hang up the phone and then not welcome others especially when you don't even own the place. My business for the groomer is done at that location. Things could have been taken in a way "professionally" way especially because she was working and not only was she crazy and rude but there were other customer there. I am just glad her Pet Smart Manager by the name (Guy) was there because he saw/heard everything he himself was kindly to give me the main corporation number to file a report on the groomer. The 1 star is for the GROOMER not for the store.

Store is great for buying supplies and employees nice but don't buy fish there especially fancy tail guppies or tetras. Lost 9 new fish in a tank - there was nothing wrong with the water in my tank as other fish lived. Several times they sold me diseased fish that killed the healthy fish after a week of putting them together as well. Terrible so much time and money wasted. Not sure where they are getting their fish from.

Took my dog to the pet grooming at petsmart. The grooming staff was nice and friendly. My dog did so good with his bath and trims. We picked a great time to come in he was in and out in like 30 mins!

Our pup, Dusty, spent his Thanksgiving at the Pet Hotel and he loved it! I love the piece of mind of having him stay at the Pet Hotel, I don’t have to worry about his meds being given at the right time. He loves going to visit his friends at the Hotel and is always a sleepy boy after his stay.
