Stopped by this establishment for dog food. There is an eye-catching sign that 25lb Bag for $19.99. Particular item was not in stock so I had to go with expensive option available. Small shop with feasible options but not as many as you would expect, in comparison to a large chain store. Friendly service. They carry salt for outdoor winterizing.

Received a sales flyer so thought I would stop in & I'm happy I did. The staff is friendly and helpful. I thought they sold just dog food but the have a variety of pet, wildlife and farm animal supplies. Prices are reasonable as well. I will be returning

I like to support small businesses, and this is one of them. They have all you need for whatever pet you have. They have 40lbs bags of dog food for $19.99. Very old school as they write out receipts. Staff is nice and will call you if a product you want came in. Love this place.

My favorite family run pet store. They have everything. Very knowledgeable staff they sell from dog and cat food to fish and aquariums to pond plants. Huge variety of bird feeders and seeds. Been going there for 25 years! They also have soil and garden vegetables. Big parking area. Highly recommend!

They have fish but it I a very dirty smelly place. I got some feeder fish once and they killed one of my rare cichlid fish. They must have been sick. Have not been back since. Plus the old lady counts each fish by hand and it takes so long to buy feeders. Will not return for feeders ever.

Have loved this store and been going here since I was a kid. My parents owned show dogs, so I knew of the place growing up. Used to own 6 dogs, yes at one time, so always went here for food. Prices have always been good.This trip though, took my boyfriend here for our dog, Sasha. We talked to someone about food for her, as she tends to be picky, but we've also had a problem with ear infections with Sasha. Girl who helped us out explained that dogs can have a grain allergy, which can cause constant ear infections. We agree to try a grain free food, and after picking out a small bag to try, she also gave us some samples of other flavors from the same manufacturer so we could see if Sasha like other flavors as well.With much success, she likes the food, so we're happy. We're trying the samples to see what other flavors she likes and we plan on buying more than one of the smaller bags to be able to give her more flavors. Food is safe enough to change and not cause an upset stomach.Always an enjoyable experience when I go here. Everyone is always knowledgeable and helpful. And of course, being able to bring your pet into the store is always nice.

I like Capital because of their large variety of canned food for my dogs.They have been in business for a long time and are very knowledgeable in their field.They have a mega variety of wild bird seed and nuts, fish foods, and cat foods, as well as other animals.

Great service. The food selection is limited for cats, but the products they do have have been well received and are at a great price point. You won't find the grocery-store brands here, just quality food from smaller producers (including one in Wisconsin).

First time visit. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Very nice lady with knowledge of the various and sometimes confusing world of dog food products. I wanted the best for my dobe pup. She dialed me right in. The best part? $30 cheaper than Amazon.
