The manager is very rude & unwilling to help employees. The store is a disaster, probably from them being so short staffed & the manager never coming in to help cover. She leaves 1 single employee in the store for over 6 hours by themselves. If this could be less than 1 star, it would be. Dont recommend shopping here anymore. All other employees are great, but the manager sucks! 👎

This place has really went downhill since Amber & Eileen left. I feel very sorry for the workers here. The manager Elisha is very rude / condescending. My card declined because I grabbed an old one. I asked her if I could run out & grab the correct card; she got huffy with me, treated me like it was the biggest inconvenience even though there was nobody else in line. Then when I went back in to grab my items and do self check out, she tried to pester me at self check out and act like she had never been rude to me. Her apology consisted of "sorry you feel that way." I don't FEEL that way, YOU WERE RUDE TO ME. You do not need to be in this industry of work, you're unpleasant and rude

I was one of the employees I get called in on my days off and when she doesn't want to come in say seems like Alicia does not want to work she talks behind her employees about everybody that's working and she talks about the employees to each other employees and then each employees come to each other employees tell us what she said and to the employees have special needs and she doesn't want to come in and work at night like she's supposed to as a manager because that is what the headquarters wanted her to do so she gets on to us because we're not working fast enough and we're not making the customers happy.

The manager there was very pleasant and social. Corrected the sale price without hesitation when the register did not ring up correctly. He made the experience at his store worth returning to shop again.

The variety of decorations they are putting out, now, after christmas are just as amazing as before Christmas. I love the new stuff they are selling. We really need the experience of beauty to decorate our homes right now, during this covid mess. It makes me smile and appreciate being home, in my safe place. Thank you DOLLAR GENERAL

They have several rude workers. I honestly don't know how they're still in business...They used to have a 90% nice greeting crew. New Athens & St. Librory's, are even WORSE! The 2 managers they had in 2018 are Rude, caused us embarrassment to the fullest extent!! Marissa's Manager & crew are awesome! Chester & Evansvilles is too!!

It is ok but they need to fund another system when stocking shelves. Like keeping rotainers out of isles.makes it difficult for customers to get down the tiny isles .when the reminded the stores they should have extended their isles.

The clerk there was unwilling to help and even though I was asking about seasonal candy she did nothing to move the stock carts so that I could look for myself. I had to move all of their carts so that I could find what I needed. Not very service oriented and not friendly.

Stores always seem to be a big mess, but at least they usually have what I am looking for, they will help you find it and you do not have to fight crowds OR check yourself out. Having check out people is something you don't miss until they are gone.

Today I had pick up a few things this store had all I needed. Short line at the check out. Plent on parking. Easy entrance to store.

Get what I need.some things are reasonable.some dollar stores need to keep their store clean and and able to go down the isle without having to pick up something off the door so I can get thru.

Love the digital coupons saves money on ALOT of items shaving razors are costly the digital coupons cut the price in half.that is awsome
