If I could give zero stars I would. The pharmacy portion is very poorly run. Everyone is running around like a chicken with their head cut off. Tried to had a prescription tranferred there because they had the medication in stock but they quickly reminded me why I never use big chain pharmacies. Had my original pharmacy try transferring the prescription twice but each time, after making me sit and wait around for an hour for it to come through, they claimed they never got it; with today's technology, faxes do not take an hour to be transmitted and received. They don't care about the customer or actually helping them. They only care about moving you on as fast as possible, with as few updates as possible, and getting you out of there as quickly as they can.

CVS pharmacy in Columbia Il is a great place. I really appreciate the extra time the pharmacist spent discussing my new medication.

I recently switched to CVS pharmacy and it has been the best experience. They always have had my scripts ready almost as soon as I'm out of the doctors office and I can pick up before I make it home. I've been using them a lot bc I'm going through some health issues and they have definitely made that part easier and less stressful. The team is very professional and kind, making my day just a bit easier. I will never use Walgreens in Columbia again. Thank you CVS pharmacy for going above and beyond.

They are always so helpful and I will drive 35 minutes to come here for my medications to be filled even though we have 2 pharmacies in my rural town and a Walgreens 13 miles away en route to this CVS location. Jenn is the pharmacist that I've had the most experience with and she goes above and beyond and is constantly moving rapidly through her prescriptions, yet is friendly and doesn't mind answering questions or ordering a specific brand if you prefer one. I've never had any mistakes made when getting my medications filled and they do honor discount cards through good rx. I have never had a negative experience here and love the cash back deals they offer as coupons when buying items in there.
