First off, make sure you are going to the tasting room on 51. The smaller one has different hours. Second, try a mimosa flight!! Yummy! The staff here was so nice and answered all of our questions. The tasting room is relatively new (I think) and it's beautiful. The spicy chicken and biscuit was really good but it was also really spicy!

Great spot, the cab is delicious, as is the sangria. great ambience, nice staff and beautiful grounds. Enjoyed their cabins also. We didn't know Illinois produced such good wines.

My son discovered this Vineyard during the 2017 eclipse and wanted to go back for the 2024 eclipse. We could not have made a better decision. Everything was amazing from the staff, to the accommodations and the food. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Decent wine, nice bar hosts at original location. A heads up, there are two locations. They had made a post on their Facebook page about a strawberry sangria. Our VRBO was close to the original location so we decided to head there. Once we arrived, the bar host kindly told us there were two locations and that the other one, which was another 20 minute drive had the sangrias. We were a bit disappointed, as it was in the evening and wanted something close by our VRBO. They need to specify on their Facebook page which location is serving what. It’s too confusing.Also, Their hours are also not clearly posted, with two locations, their Facebook page mostly highlights the new second location. The original locations sign said open till 6pm and the bar host indicated 7pm.

It was a nice peace experience overall. We stayed at cabin #2 for 1-2 people. A couple issues. Every morning about 6 am a loud thumbing under bedroom floor. The 2nd thing was the left sink leaks and makes the wood underneath very wet. Please let Maintenance know so other don't have same issues. Overall great place to stay.

This is the best winery for us on the wine trail. We did about 8 out of the 10. The hospitality, the views and the live music were amazing for a sunny afternoon. Please do try the sangria.

Beautiful place, wine was good, sangria was great. The ladies in the tasting room were very friendly & helpful. There are some dogs that will come visit you, they were friendly and will not bother you. My little chihuahuas acted ferocious, barking at them. We are traveling in a 37 ft motorhome towing a colorado truck. Coming from the East, the road getting to the winery was a long way off the road & a lot of it was very narrow & rough, so go slow. We were heading West leaving the winery, and driving out was not as bad. But if you have the time & want to visit a winery, it would be worth it. It is a peaceful stop overnight.

We arrived on April 15, 2023 on a rainy day. Live music was entertaining, and the wine was very good. The area was exceptionally clean. We bought 3 bottles of the Saluki Riesling after our tasting, which we really enjoyed. The only negative is they overcharged us $15 for 3 $19 bottles. Watch your receipts. We did get a refund when I brought it to their attention.

We came to explore the Shawnee Wine Trail and stayed at this winery’s apartment which is inside of their wine-making facility (barn). The place was clean, quiet, affordable and the owners were so accommodating and personable. The wines were delicious and many to choose from and the setting was quaint. Live music rounded it out for a great weekend. We had fun exploring the wineries in the area, plus great hiking and other sites to see.

Trucker Stop read.this and their other facility are not tricker friendly no truck routnarrow rd/ small mistake and and two truck may cost you 20K becaz two truck also can not come here

This was a really beautiful place. It was really hot the day I visited, and I had my dog with me, but they let me bring her inside so she could lay in the air condition. As if that weren't wonderful enough, the wine itself was just really top notch. I tried the flight of white wines and had a class while there. It was really good stuff, and the labels are beautiful.

I really enjoyed my time at Feather Hills last summer. I stayed on-site at the room they have for rent and the hospitality was second to none. Such a relaxing environment, with the nice pond providing a serene place to sip fantastic wine and soak in the sounds of the Shawnee Forest.Can't wait to visit again!

The staff is amazing and actually takes time to make sure everyone has a great time there. One of my first times there I had went to my table with a full glass of wine I just purchased and accidentally knocked it over. With out hesitation the man came over, cleaned it up, and then proceeded to pour me another glass at no extra charge. After that he even stuck around to explain the wine making process and just took a minute to interact with us. Very friendly and professional. The wines are great too, personal favorite I would recommend atleast trying is the amalgam!

Randy and Renée Feather are so lovely. My cousin had her wedding at Feather Hills and they (& their staff) were so personable, helpful, and friendly. They felt like part of the family. We are so grateful for their help in making the day go off without a hitch. Would 100 times recommend to anyone, either wanting to hang out at a beautiful winery or have an event.

Orlandini was a great winery to visit. The outside was beautiful with the little pond. When we first walked in the individual running the place that day was with others customers which is fine, however, we weren't greeted or welcomed at all which made it feel awkward. After a short wait, the individual helping us with the tasting was very knowledgeable. My mother honestly asked him about 30 questions and he was able to answer them all. The wine very good. My brother-in-law pointed out that the white wines didn't seem to be from Orlandini winery itself which was disappointing. Overall it was relaxing visit and we're happy we stopped!!

This was our first stop on the wine trail, and we were very pleased! My husband and I both did the wine tasting, getting to try 8 wines for only $6 and we each received a wine glass! Frankie did a wonderful job explaining all the wines to us and he was very friendly! The wines were very good and we also got to try the sangria, which was delicious. Definitely would recommend stopping here!

Beautiful setting, great music, nice wines. Non commercial, simple, perfect. If you are looking to get a little of the beaten path & avoid the loud drunk crowds this is the place. Cool breeze by the lake even on a hot day. My new favorite on the trail.

They have great live music and the cutest location. I suggest EVERYONE who is going to do a wine trail, put this location at the top of their list!

This was our favorite stop on the trail. Relax on a large deck overlooking a pond. Casual/laid back environment. Great music. Tasty wine! We walked away with 2 cases of it 🍷😋

I really enjoyed how small this vineyard is. The tasting room is intimate and inviting. The outside sitting areas are incredibly spacious with lots of options for either larger groups or smaller parties. I highly recommend the sangria.
