Went to this Dollar General store in Rosiclare IL, and was surprised, it is more like a small grocery store they had fruit and all kinds of cold items, this will be my go-to store when I don't want to go to Harrisburg live down this way check it out, I live in Herod Il not any more of a drive than Harrisburg.

Roseclaire dollar store is pitiful. They have self-checkout and one cashier. So the cashier has to stop checking people out to help with problems at the self check out. I had to wait 45 minutes to get checked out . That was nearly a year ago and I swore I wouldn't ever go back and I haven't.

This Dollar store is packed with everything you need! Will definitely go back and visit the courteous staff. It took us over an hour to look and shop. Love this store when on vacation.

This store had a remodel but it has not improved in quality. It is a shame because it used to be a decent store. It has really gone downhill. The floors are filthy dirty. The store has boxes pilled everywhere and really makes it hard to navigate. Basically, if you want to see a storage room, this is the store for you. I recommend going to Golconda's Dollar General.

May 29,2018 I have been in a lot of dollar general stores across the country. This one is the most disorganized and filthy. It was clean and neat when "Willie" was manager. Has totally "gone to the dogs" since he left. The clutter is horrible, is no longer a place I will shop. A severe caae of bad bad management.

I'm NOT SATISFIEDMy grandfather was recently in this particular store and was treated so poorly by the manager.My grandfather had his service dog in the store and the manager screamed at my grandpa across the store to get that dog out of HIS store.When my grandpa tried to show him that his dog was a service dog, he proceeded to tell my grandfather that he could make him leave the store.Corporate has been notified several times and someone finally called her yesterday. The district manager said he would have a sit down with him.My aunt called the store yesterday and the manager " Willie " laughed at her and said " they didn't do anything to me".Now we are not the first people to complain about his behavior and so far no action has been taken. My grandparents were going to try and be civil. They wanted an apology.Now a lawyer has been called. This has turned into a legal issue.

Alot of empty shelves No TP. Staff was very friendly as well as other customers. The cashier was wearing gloves. We seen more older folks than young and no children at all. Good job.

Too many items on shelves, very cluttered to where you can't find anything. Everything is stacked on top of each other and too many aisles. Can barely fit through aisle especially with products down the middle and ends of them.

The store is extremely cluttered with boxes of merchandise on the floor in aisles, with rolltainers, and uboats. Nearly every aisle is an obstacle course. It is not uncommon to be unable to shop an aisle without shimmying between rolltainers and shelves of product. Some aisles have just been inaccessible. Many of the shelves are empty in regards to every day product.

It's always too crowded and I can never take my handicap son in because the isles are yoo small with all the product that's not put away. I only go alone to get what I need.

Unfortunately I had to at least pick one star to continue with a written review.. The Manager here is extremely unprofessional. He hollered across the store at my father and asked him to get his "damn" dog out of the store. The dog which is a registered service dog, had a service vest on and accompanies my father to doctor visits as well as all other outings. After speaking with corporate, who apologized for this uncalled for and inappropriate behavior, the district manager was suppose to call and never did. We are now being forced to take this to legal standings.This young man, Willie Williams, manager of the Rosiclare location has caused a huge legal issue for Dollar General.If a proper response from Dollar General ( formal apology) had been made we would have not pursued this legally. Unfortunately for them it was not!

This a small community so this store is very convenient and supplies most of the shopping needs. Prices are reasonable it has good products.
