It’s the worst Sam’s club experience ever. I’m a Plus member for 10yrs. This time I tried to return an unopened unused item, however the front desk refused me for it over 90 days window. I explained I only heard electronic products may have a 90 days limited but not for a non-electronic item. However the lady still don’t want to do the job and brought a supervisor. The supervisor also refused my return for the same excuse, but couldn’t provide me any policy about the limitations. So I tried to let them at least scan my code to see what the system shown. The return system did show it allowed to return however the supervisor suddenly turn the tablet refused to confirm the return. She even don’t want to take a look at the return policy that I provided but asked a manager came. I tried to very polite to the manager named Hugo to see if he should more knowledgeable about this issue. However the manager Hugo said he had the right to refuse the return because he is the manager but could prove any policy. That’s so ridiculous all three staffs in different positions all telling lies to customer, and what’s the reason for to my this case so special? I am so angry about the attitude they stand for Sam’s Club, so put a shame to the brand. Not even mention this club is always lack of management with trash everywhere, always shortage in refills, unorganized presentations, that you can tell it’s a Sam’s club store by the inside atmosphere without looking at the brand.I am a very loyal member of Sam’s, really hope headquarter could pay more attention on the management of this store and bring back the Sam’s club standards service to the local customers.Again, the main manager in this Cicero location name the Hugo.Best,

Dirty store with rude employees. The cafe was closed at 6:45 and the worker was too lazy to serve me the slice of pizza that was available. Cause he stated he wanted to keep it for himself. Made some lame excuse about the till not working. Then he threatened me with security. They just kept saying they were closed. I would not shop at this Sam’s club.

Pumped gas on 4/15/2024. Shortly after my car started to act funny. Lack of power and hesitation. The next day I went to a repair facility to get it checked out and it came out to be that the fuel had water. I reached out to Sam’s club on their chat hotline and was directed to the store manager of the location. I reached out to the store in 4/16/2024, spoke to Ariel And left a message for the store managers. It’s 4/24/2024 and I still have not type of response.

The staff harassed me for my ID then refused to provide me with my order, then the staff lied and claimed the order was picked up.Manager claimed it’s their policy to demand ID, yet staff rarely actually request ID.I call customer service five times and none of them were any help at all. Customer service couldn’t even reach the store or issue a refund because the staff lied and claimed my order was picked up.I had to return to the store just to get them to refund my order.Membership cancelled. Target won’t harass me.

Poor customer service from employee Alex. He was also very rude. If you want to do spark orders I recommend not coming here. They act like they have something against people who are doing the spark orders and giving me a hard time. Super trash basically tried to say we would still the order and ask for a i.d which I never had to do at any other store.

A extremely busy location especially in the weekends. I think it’s well stocked but needs to be more cleaner there’s always trash on the floor. Hardly any workers in the floor they are mainly in the registers. Gas prices are always better than the local gas stations in the city.

Great selections. But somehow, the line over by the GAS STATION is SLOW AS USUAL...People was sitting in their car for 15 OR 20 more minutes and DON'T get ready with their CREDIT CARD. WON'T GET OUT OF THE CAR FOR ANOTHER 5 TO 10 MINUTES WHEN IS THEIR TURN.....

I am standing in this store right now writing this review. Today 10/29/22 was my 1st & last day here. I am new to sams & I pray other locations aren't disorganized & messy like this location . The workers are standing in groups not being efficient at all. The food bar was completely sold-out. NO pretzels, No ice cream, No yogurt. Store was VERY hard to maneuver & select items. Everything was out of order. Just bad for business. I can say that the lady at the front door showed me how to use scan & go. She was very happy & cheerful. Welcomed me with a nice attitude. Other than that, Thumbs down. Back to Costco I go .

I wouldn’t even put a one star on this location. I was told you’re not allowed to have a service dog inside of the store. I explained to them that’s against the law and they told me that that’s how their store is no dogs allowed. And I told them OK well, I have a service dog. You can’t stop me from having a service dog.

I visited the bakery department and Juan has the best customer service! I came to pick up a 3 tier cake and he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Haven't seen such great customer service in a while!

Day 0: Ordered grocery delivery for the next day.Day 1: Groceries to arrive 5-7 pm. *leaves work early to ensure i’m home to receive* *date night at 9*5pm: order in progress…7pm: order in progress…contact chat support, they ensure order is coming.9pm: order in progress, chat ensures order is coming, 1+ hours wasted on chat, 2 hours waiting around.10pm: leave home, arrive late to date.11 PM: order delivered email11:30pm: come home to find order is not there.Day 2: contact support again, they advise to call the club. 2 hours of passing through support hands. Informed order is still at club and delivery driver claimed order in system as picked up and delivered falsely. Club says they can send later that day. I say send between 2-4pm. 4pm comes and leaves. Call club, order still there. They suggest I come get it. I demand refund, they state they cannot unless I come in. one of many people i spoke to over several hours offered no refund but $30 gift card on $300 order.Day 3: Make more calls, passed around more for several hours. Order still at club, will not refund me. Says I must come in club to show my ID and they will give me a $.06 gift card. yea, 6 cents. hours and hours, they request i text them pictures of my license so they can refund me. Supervisor shocked when i inform I cannot get to the club for their mistake. (why do you think i ordered delivery).Total Value Received From this Order: Out 3 days of my life from working with Sam’s club support, no groceries, anxiety, +$.06 of sam’s club gift card emailed to me.Worst experience with any organization, for profit, non for profit, governmental, student led, anything.Safe to say, I’m taking the future cash flows of my family, and my descendants business elsewhere. I will take measures to ensure my descendants learn from my experience and don’t fall for Sam’s Clubs cheer theme, “The Member is #1.” - I’ve actually never had such an unpleasant experience in my life other than the occasional sudden passing of a family member.

JUSTGO TO COSTCO. Please know that I already have a Costco membership, so I was excited to check out the competition. What competition? Not only is the store in disarray and the employees inconsiderate and unhelpful, but the quality of merchandise is such that I received in raw chicken from the rotisserie Department. The customer service is such that when I called corporate the phone rang and rang until it disconnected on me. The corporate recording referred me to a Sam's Club chat. The Sam Club chat referred me back to the original store, telling me that they only handled online order complaints. Then they disconnected their conversation with me, a customer who had received a raw chicken from there Department. Remember I literally had to pay to walk through the door and they had the audacity to not find the time to rectify with my concerns. Moral of the story, Costco is $10 more and worth every penny.

GO TO COSTCOI was in line for gas and another motorist, kin to the one in line let his kin cut in line. I confronted one of the 2 motorists and he said he let her in because that was his wife.I reported the occurrence and I was told it's common at this location, and there is nothing they can do. So there in no waiting at Sam's Club in Cicero. Just drive up to the pump!I wish I can give 0 stars

The manager by the name of Hugo is very unprofessional and does not know how to communicate with customers. I made a purchase on 07/24/23 through the scan and go app, to be stopped at the door because they could verify my purchase. The employees at the door including security were so helpful and understandable. On the other hand Hugo did not communicate with me and did not want to listen to me even after I showed proof of purchase (QR code generated by scan and go on the Sam club app) i also provided him with evidence that my $900 dollar transaction was showing on my bank account. He refused to help me and sent me back to register and pay again for all my items. He promised the transaction did not go through and it would be canceled. Trying to be a nice and understanding customer I agreed and paid again for the items I had already purchased. Now, 2 days later I see both transactions have posted and I’ve been charged the same amount twice. Hugo you shouldn’t be a manger, clearly you have the no clue how to fix issues nonetheless speak with customers your staff had more communication skills than you. I hope this reaches the attention of corporate I did make a very extensive complaint. To the security on duty that day, awesome job you were professional, humble and understanding.

This location is struggling. Beware of pests and rodents at this location. The shelves are usually disorganized with items taken out of packages and left all over the shelves. Aisles have garbage on the floor and employees just walk around the garbage. It’s clear the leadership and health standards at this location has gone down as bad as it could. I picked up a package of dried fruit trail mix and it was obvious that mice/rat had gotten into it. I took it up to a cashier that responded with, “well there are rats everywhere, right?” She then proceeded to throw the torn up, contaminated bag into a cart with other items that were getting restocked. Spoke to a manager to let them know of the issues and she did not seem to care about the messy aisles and the rat-contaminated trail mix. Hopefully this raises awareness so they can be held accountable for putting customer’s health at risk without caring. Be very cautious of what you bring home from this place.

Understaffed. Disorganized. Terrible customer service. I rarely go to this location for this reason and I normally drive to the suburbs. The few times I shop at this location when I’m short on time or because the app says something is in stock here, each time has been chaos.

Had to gas up and ended up choosing the closest club which happened to be the Cicero one. The entrance to the gas station is bad with cars having to navigate between parked cars and distinguishing the cars in the line. This might also be the reason for the long lines at each pump.What struck me more shockingly was this guy in the yellow vest who was coolly smoking a cigarette and walking around the refueling tanker up and down and all around. Zoom in on the photo and see his right hand with the cigarette. He turned out to be the tanker driver. So much for safety and precautions. If something had gone wrong, kaboom!!!
