I give 2 starts, not because I dislike the store. I have never had any major problems stopping in and getting what I need. Even though it is closer to me, I prefer the other location on North Ave and 25th. Nonetheless, I give 2 starts because when I was just here 2-3 days ago I noticed quite a bit of the food was expired or expiring on the day of my visit. Shouldn’t have to walk through the store checking expiration dates because as a store/company, and my experience YEARS ago working at a grocery store, the shelves are supposed to be restocked and items checked. This was not the case in this location. Items had expired last July (2023) and upon further digging I found some that expired in Dec 2022. I need for this store to get it all the way together. Still have not decided if I’m going to report this or not.

Small produce section with a decent selection. Produce is good though may not always be cheaper than other places. Baked goods are mostly breads, some donuts or a cake but not much variety.Good selection of meats. Seafood, imitation seafood and beef, pork, chicken. No hot meals here.Good selection of frozen and refrigerated foods. Most items here though are boxed and canned. Sometimes they'll sell seasonal goods like salt bags for winter, charcoal bags, varieties of disposable cookware and oddly enough; shampoo, deodorant and personal care items right near the entrance.

I love Food 4 Less! My favorite location was the one on cicero and 77th. Unfortunately, it's now a Tony's. I make the drive out here because I love what they carry and they tend to be a one stop shop for me. They tend to have what I like and need. The have a great selection and deals. I recommend checking them out. They also have a specific wine I like too, Wild Wines.

Maybe things have changed but growing up in Cicero this food4less has always been a pigglets galore. I'm sorry maybe i go there when its a bad every time but this is a disgrace to be a store. Nothing is flat stacked everything looks like customers have been looking through everything to find the "good stuff". Produce wasn't even fully stocked. I was awkwardly there scavenging for what u could. I mean the deals were awesome i saved alot of money cant lie but the place itself needs to get a mirror and relook itself i demand a new GM who actually trains their workers correctly and keeps a store clean. Good day sir. Alot of tags seem to have never been replaced granted the prices were correct alot of tags were out of date my examples are in my pictures. Like i said maybe everytime i go its a badday

I was able to buy bread that I went there to buy plus an unintended snack. However, the store hasn't had Kroger's Private Selection Golden Flaxseed and Fiber bread in a while. I hope they bring it back. Fastest visit in a long time. I went straight to the bread, then headed for checkout. I passed the snack on way to bread and picked it up on way to checkout. Good marketing layout! Lol.

Now this really doesn't make no sense ... its 12:15pm on Thursday afternoon n there is no cashiers but 2 ringing ... both lines has at least 20 customers in line ... Express was not open at all to service lunch working ppl n regular customers wit less than 10 items ... this is not the 1st 2nd or 3rd time I've came in here to buy ...something has to be done abt this ...I dread coming in this store often ... overall cashiers Jacky n Shakia are AWESOME n COURTEOUS 😎 👏 ...this store really needs to shape up ... thanks

Love shopping at our conveniently located Food4Less - its always clean, great produce, polite staff & pretty good consistent sales! They help feed a family by stretching a buck! Thank you Food4Less staff for helping all of us - you all are appreciated. 👏👏

It's a pretty messy and dirty store to start off, everything is over priced, they don't even have half of the items you miggt need because they are out of stock, we went for eggs and cream cheese, and other items, very expensive and out of stock, so we ran to the target to get whatever they didn't have, tell me why everything is like 2 dollars cheaper at target., we need to start showing these coward store owners that we will not be taken advantage off on their insane pricing, if it seems expensive it probably is, head on over to another store. These stores in Chicago are getting shameless with their price gouching. EFF THESE STORE'S, AND THEY DONT EVEN CARE TO HAVE IT LOOK SOME WHAT NICE FOR THE CLIENTELE.

I stopped by early in the morning and they were fully stocked with items. And they were still stocking product. The isles were clear. The cashier was very cordial. That’s what I like to see People working and stores opening on time. Unlike some stores. Kudos

Had a bad experience with the customer service department. I came in to use the Coinstar machine and noticed that a lot of locations I had called beforehand, their machines were down. I called F4L customer service, and asked a gentleman and he accidently hung up on me. I called again, and got a lady, she assured me the machine was up and running and was quick to hang up on me.So I went, spent money on an Uber to get there, just to find out that the Coinstar station was "unavailable ". I was a little upset, since I was told it was working fine literally an hour beforehand. The Coinstar machine is literally 5 steps away from the customer service counter. The incompetence of the customer service agent to not check for me is super unprofessional and to just lie to a customer and say it is working when she could have taken 5 steps to make sure it was actually working was plain lazy.I explained this to the gal who was sitting behind the desk and all she can say was im sorry. She told me there are 5 people working the customer desk throughout the day and asked me for a name. Why would I ask for someones name in this situation? These 5 people running the customer service desk need to be retrained.

Very good grocery store. Packed full of lower priced items as compared to prices elsewhere. Plenty of every grocery items to pick from along with fruits, vegetables and meats and seafood. Wines and liquors too!

I used to love this location. I could go here and find any and everything I need, but lately, it has really gone downhill. There are almost always boxes of goods on the floor; many times you can't find an associate to help you and there tends to be only two checkout lanes open with ridiculously long lines. The last time I was here, I bought fresh produce: a cantaloupe, plums and bananas. About 2 days later, I had to toss all of these things because they had gone bad! A total waste of money. Funny, but I don't have that problem with produce I buy from others stores.

I go to this store about once a weeks and it’s good but it’s has some flaws 1- severely understaffed especially on weekends.2- always the same two homeless men hanging out by the exit making customers uncomfortable.Other than these two things I can always find what I need

Food 4 less has always been a relatively inexpensive grocery store that I would go to but with recent inflation I have seen the obvious things go up in price such as milk and eggs but other than that they have managed to keep their prices relatively the same as they have always been and I appreciate that and I'm as a company and will continue to go there side-note these popsicles are the best and I will buy them until they go out of style well go out of service more like

Nice store. Shelves are well stocked. Layout of the store is good. Prices are reasonable. Usually there are no long checkout lines which I personally love. I also like that I can bag my own groceries so that I can pack it accordingly.

I had to return the rotten turkey legs before I left the store. I noticed an odor as I was bagging groceries. The cashier was nice about it but beware of the meat in this store. I don't having to buy 6 items to get a sale price.

Clean store, good prices, great sales, wide selection of quality food. The staff is always friendly and helpful and they go out of there way (on several different occasions) to help find an item. I wish there were more (closer) locations. Just be prepared to bag your own groceries, but that's a small price with the savings you'll gain. Although customer service through out the store is always excellent, the service desk usually doesn't have a person at it and the wait time for somebody to come to help can be lengthy.UPDATE: I still consider the shopping part of the store clean, but the men's bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned for several hours. Toilet paper all over the floor in the stall. No toilet paper holder, the roll was balanced on the handicap bar. No coat hook in stall.

The light completed guy with the glasses serving the poultry threw the bag of chicken across the counter at my mom. Very rude and unprofessional. I hope HR or management does something about his behavior or he gets fired.

Went to purchase items on 3/14 and the crew made efforts to make lines move, but my problem was with management. Whoever is in charge was gouging prices on toilet paper. Did not check receipt when paying, but once we got home we realized they charged us $11 FOR 6 ROLLS OF CHARMIN TOILET PAPER. I do not know what is wrong with this place. Really upsetting. Not going back to this store anymore.

The store lacks a good selection of frozen meals. Other than this the prices are very low especially when it comes to candy bars. Also the lines aren't that bad in the evening since there are many cashiers during that time.

Food 4 less is not dependable at all. On Monday, May 9th 100 pieces of chicken was ordered and paid for. The chicken was to be picked up on Sunday, May 15th at 2 o'clock. I get a call at 8 in the morning "the day of my gathering" that they are not able to make the chicken. What a huge disappointment!!! I will not depend on them for catering orders again.
