I find myself like others rushing out to the store at or near closing time . I know I employee are ready to go Home at closing time . However I find myself a little bit frustrated today March 27th 2024 at exactly 9:57 pm . This is the 2nd time the stores been closed before closing time and in Christopher Illinois this store is the only option other than Huck’s Casey and a small family owned grocery store that closes early due to the cost of running a business such as this, so stay open. We dedicate our money to the Dollar General Store so can we at least stay open until it’s closing time. It’s not like Dollar General can’t afford it they are popping up in multiple locations in small towns all across this area on both ends of town. Also Dollar General should copy Casey’s General store with rewarding dedicated customers with DG DOLLARS . Just like Carey’s give back in store “DG DOLLARS” rewards so that even when one finds themselves with no money they can look to where they spend money daily to see if they have spent enough Have any rewards saved up. I’m just saying I know I’m happier to spend money with a business that show thanks by giving back to me rewards to be used in store If not then at least don’t allow the doors to close early. BE THE CHANGE AND REDUCE THE CIST OF EVERYTHING SOLD IN DOLLAR GENERAL BY $1.00 or sumthin because there are not enough items in the store for sale to be called Dollar General .#Madforgoodreason

One of the Better, cleaner Dollar General stores but for after Christmas Sale the register accepted 25% to 50% off some items and other items it didn't. They had big stack behind counter of things shoppers didn't want at regular price. Surely somebody could have fixed this as other items did take right % off.

I haven't been in this particular store for awhile. They carded me one day wouldn't let me tobacco because my drivers driver's license was expired. I'm almost 50 years old. The checkout is all wrong. I almost saw a fight in the store because of the way the checkout is. A new store and not well designed. It is a store I would rather not visit.

Always very busy. Busy is good but not when the wrong guy is working . Unless you would like your milk cereal and a two liter crammed into one bag

I have been standing in line for almost 20 mins. One cashier, line out the door...store is trashed! Need to reset the entire store. Management while kind is very inefficient.

Didn't get my discounts on my 4 cans dog food or my 300 off 10 dollar purchase for 2 fabric softener sheets not the first time

Majority of the staff is kind and polite where as some of the others dont have the customer first drive and refuse to help. Overall good experience

Went to buy a tobacco product and the lady looked at me straight in my face and told me I was not of age. Did not ask to see my ID till after I told her I was 19.
