Christopher Dairy Queen has most definitely made some type of changes or their employee have changed something about how they do their job. The last few times I have visited the store the food was of good quality the staff appeared to be happy and eager to help with Sammy questions . Then only negative aspect was while we were in the drive thru behind the only other car in the drive thru . They must have pulled out without me knowing as I was in park and corresponding with my family making sure I ordered everything and. I was yelled at thru the drive thru window as I s was taking to long to move in the line . When I heard the voices yelling I looked up and it appeared to have 5 or 6 different faced on the tiny drive thru window . I moved up and verified that I had added the order to my rewards account . At which time .it was not on my rewards. The manager or owner one was bruh helpful with informing me that I can take. A picture of the bar code on the receipt now and get my b rewards. That is a new thing they started for situations when one forgets to have their device available during the ordering process.I ordered 5 chicken strip baskets 4 chocolate milk shakes and. A strawberry sundae and an order of fries.Food was all accompanied for and when I didn’t think the fries were in the bag they immediately gotnme another order ready . This pleasant experience is becoming a habit from the store and it is much more pleasant to dine in or carry out or even use the drive thru when you get hungry. Thank you for being Happy Happy Happy .It makes a difference in ones dayKid-friendliness: They always have kids of all ages in the restaurant and if they are up moving around it’s not an issue for anyone they don’t seem to but bothered. Terrible service tonight waited over 30 minutes got 2 sandwiches both made with the wrong buns also both had the wrong sauces on them and one didn't come with bacon. 30 minutes to pay some idiot to make 2 Terrible sandwiches like wth.This restaurant needs to get it together because they just lost me as a customer for a long time

Sent my boyfriend last night to grab dairy queen for the both of us. We probably had the MOST simple order. 4 piece chicken strip basket, and 2 cheeseburgers. My boyfriend said he had to repeat what he ordered 3 times. He got to the window, they asked again. Lol he said he waited another 7 or 8 minutes watching them have a group discussion of what we ordered. He comes home . I open my chicken strip basket to the nastiest, sloppiest mess. I just wanted a normal basket not whatever barbecued slop they gave me. Every time we go our blizzards look like soup, and our food orders are wrong. So no more Christopher dq for me

Waited almost 40 min in drive through only to get cold fries and a wrong burger. To top it off a worker is in shorts and wipes her hand over mouth AND nose then proceeds to handle people's food!

I have been going here for over 45 years. In all that time including through COVID, the food has been consistently hot and fresh and the staff fast and friendly. From a sweet treat, to an ice cream cake, to a full dinner for the family, the Carterville DQ has been a staple of the community for decades. Nice job gang!

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I was yelled at by the manager for trying to pick up a pre-ordered cake that was ALREADY PAID FOR (for a child’s birthday no less) told there was no such thing, I was able to produce the order number, name, address of pick up, confirmation and receipt; was told that was “not enough evidence”. The manager proceeded to refuse to make a cake or get in touch with the owner to straighten the situation out. We must now take money out of our OWN PAYCHECKS to get this child a second cake. Do not go here and definitely don’t expect them to make any cakes!!

Dairy Queen is always great. The ice cream treats , like blizzards, always hit the spot , when you want to satisfy your sweet tooth. They have good burgers, too. This location also has a friendly, attentive staff. Its a great DQ location

Before they were allowed to shut the doors and work in private it had the very best juiciest burgers anywhere. Since covid it seems like they just cook 50 burgers at a time and leave em sitting. The patties are always hard and nasty. Its a shame! Either needs a new cook or new management

Blizzards are always runnier than a shake. It's pretty disappointing since my family use to go here all the time now it's like we never go because we have to put our blizzards in the freezer to make them into ice cream again. The guy right before me tonight did the upside down thing and his was fine but the girl that did mine didn't and all three of our blizzards were runny. Idk why this is but it would be awesome if I could get actual ice cream from am ice cream store for once.

Love paying nearly four dollars for a small blizzard and they choose to fill it up 2 inches under the top of the cup. Extremely disappointed. 07-06-20Checked food bag, I had specifically asked for ketchup. No ketchup. Lol. Totally not worth the stop.

Terrible Drive thru service placed my order for 4 cheeseburgers with no pickle. Soon as i pulled up to the window i was my order checked made sure i had what i needed only to find out theres was only 1 cheeseburger in the bag, told the drive thru lady, she said she thought she just heard an order for just 1 cheeseburger when clearly i had placed an order for 4 cheeseburgers. Had to wait an extra 10 minites for the other cheeseburgers to be made. But recieved them, won't be going back..

Went thru drive thru and ordered $5 meal. Got 3 pc chicken , root beer and strawberry sundae. Chicken was cold and tough, gravy was cold and so was the fries. The root beer taste like dirty water and the strawberry topping was runny. Worst experience at a D. Q

At this particular location. Masks were not worn properly. 1 employee had her mask hanging on 1 ear, another was on her chin. The icecream I ordered was already melted before we got them. My blizzard was melted and was like soup. The girl didn't turn my blizzard upside down before handing it to me and now I know why. It would have been a mess if she did.

We dined in waited a very long time for our food. The food was ALL cold except for the breaded mushrooms... Probably why we waited so long. When I asked for hot fries the girl in the lobby said seriously under her breath as I walked by I said yes seriously. They came to our table took the cold fries and then asked if my little girls were also cold my husband felt them and said yes colder than mine. She said I'll have to take them too. My little girl sat there not eating and my husband sent me back to buy the cold ones. I was a little snappy at that point. When I returned the lobby girl was now at my table spraying cleaner on the window like 1 foot from our food cleaning the windows. I WILL B CONTACTING THE OWNER!

Wasn't pleased with the service this evening went to Dairy Queen in Christopher IL to get something to eat and drink when I was at the speaker box I told them my order I ordered 2 of the BBQ chicken strip meals and 2 large strawberry shakes the man on the other end of the speaker kept trying to rush me through my order and kept reading it back off to me wrong I was getting frustrated with the service that I yelled in to speaker saying NO! That's not what I ordered so I drove around to the window and said no that is not what I ordered I then asked for a manager and she came up to the window with an attitude and I told her what happened and she said that they have faulty equipment and that the owner doesn't seem to want to get them better head sets or a new speaker box and then yanked my debit card out of my hand and after charging me for what I ordered and pushed our order out the window and says get out of here guess we will just have to start driving to a different location cause the service here is a joke and I will be calling corporate over this matter!

DQ is always a nice place to stop and grab something quick or eat in with the family. The staff here are really friendly and courteous. The only down side for this DQ is the wait time for food. I dont know if they were understaffed or what.

Best breakfast around, especially the Biscuts and Gravy! Fresh tasting eggs, not like "egg Beaters" like other fast food places.And the variety you get off regular hours menu!I think the hot pretzel sticks with white cheese dip are the BoMb!Onion rings and burgers taste like home made! Not to mention the Turkey Sandwich and Chicken Sandwiches.Then the Dairy side. Any thing you can imagine in your ice cream.All the coffee drinks... !!I hate going there. Takes forever to make up my mind what I'm gonna order. :) Everything is soo good!

Drive through speaker didn't work, staff was rude, once again, and I received a different item than what I ordered. This is not the only bad experience I've had at this location. I attempted to speak with staff each time. The staff was not interested in helping me resolve anything.
