This is the DG store I go to most often since it's not far. The clerks in this store are usually friendly and helpful; same w the Dunlap store. They have a lot of inventory to handle, and it's usually in good order. 💯%

I was in there today. People working to get stuff out. So much cleaner than ones Ive been to. Workers were nicer and lines were moving right along.

This is probably the trashiest dollar general I’ve ever been in. There a boxes and empty cardboard and merchandise and junk in every aisle of the store all over the floor and pushed up to the shelves. There is absolutely no way someone in a wheelchair or scooter is able to navigate this store. I am surprised that the Chillicothe fire marshal has not worked with this store to remedy the situation.

Not enough space. The workers try as hard as they can to put stock away,but it's to small. When they put up the store they didn't put a storage room. WOW !!!!

I thought since they moved it would be better since it's a bigger location but no, it's so unorganized there are always carts sitting around blocking shelves, cashiers are usually not at the register and several times employees have seen customers at the check out and they continue their conversations with each other while customers wait and the line gets backed up. No point in going here, family dollar is right across the street well stocked with mostly the same things is organized and has employees who don't act like it's a inconvenience to come to the counter for a customer.

It really nice kind of disorganized but over all the workers are very helpful and the bathrooms are clean. They seem to not really have a wide verity of blankets but I didn't expect as much considering it's only a dollar general not a Walmart. A lot of sales are taking place on different items and I would recommend it to anyone trying to find something not found In a corner store or gas station.

Staff is generally friendly and helpful. What irritates me about this store goes for all DGs. Constantly out of different things. Unstocked stock is always in the way. The worst is the wanting to run with low staffing. Im tired of thinking DG will be quicker than going to say Kroger. Its a coin toss if its gonna be fast cause it doesn't seem to matter how busy it is there is only 1 person on register.

I like my Dollar General because of that $5 coupon you can use on Saturdays! But if you're just out spending money, this Dollar General has a pretty good home section to choose from. And one whole wall has a cooler section.

Overall experience was okay had no problem finding what we was looking for had a bit of a wait for someone to come to the checkout so that we could pay for our stuff it took about 5 minutes other than that our experience was not bad

This is a brand new store filled to the rafters with mechandise. Sadly, not enough workers. The 2 times we stopped here recently there are boxes and boxes in stock carts/racks waiting everywhere (not an exaggeration) in to be put on shelves. All of the floors were dirty with bits and pieces of trash in the corners. The parking lot already looks unkempt with weeds growing unchecked around it. And this is on the main street driving through town.The town of Chillicothe, IL was thrilled with the construction of a new bigger, better Dollar General but it seems as if we are still waiting. Hire more staff and get more people who care in your brand new store please.

It is a new location for them. Bit small but staff is making the best of limited storage space. Staff is kind and helpful.

This is just like every other dollar General great service whrn you are able to find them. Cluttered and messy everytime you go in its almost like a teenagers room its very offputting
