45 mins and counting to confirm why my simple prescription won't be processed until tomorrow after it was dropped off early this morning. In the suburbs yesterday prescription fill in 10 mins. This is why I don't spend my money in the city. It's a shame. BTW...I'm still holding!

I had stop by here to grab a few item and the young lady name Melendia (sorry if name not spelled wrong) this young lady is the best she help me looking for items that I needed.Thank you again Walgreens y’all better keep this young lady because she a hard worker that loves to help the customers.

Hate this Walgreens and needs to be shut down! The staff is ghetto and ignorant the pharmacy never answers the phones or hang up in your face while you are sitting and waiting for someone to answer! There is never anything in stock!! Our neighborhood is treated like anything!!!! All bodies in the south shore area is not ghetto and accepts anything

It's not a good walgreen to go to because no carts does rarely even help around cards.Not working they only have a few cards and this is a ghetto part of the neighborhood. Plus they not hiring , More middle aged people.lazy people.

Stay clear of this store if you’re a decent person who just moved into this dangerous area. This Walgreens is a dope trap at night along with the other stores in this shopping plaza.

This pharmacy is very dysfunctional. Lines are always too long and not enough staffing. Something needs to be done. Came to get my prescription twice and it was closed during hours of normal operation. I never experience this in other neighborhoods.

To many crackheads n dead souls over there. Like who done stole the shopping carts out of there Smfh/ 79th is way better and cleaner n less line, no crackhead or drug dealers or anyone standing on the corner and its a bus stop right there. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Store is never fully stocked, lines are always long and the pharmacy is the worst! They are never ready when they claim to be, and always losing a prescription! I do not recommend this location, at all. If it wasn’t an urgency I would’ve never went.

The pharmacy never answers the phone always have u on hold for hours, just to pick up the phone and put u back on hold it's really ridiculous, only this location needs better customer service when you are dealing with medication

This store is never fully functional. It's been four days for one hour photo.The pharmacy can't never find your prescriptions even for the called text you about it. Now five phone calls & no results about my photos.

Pharmacy complaint- I arrived at 7:30 on 10-17-22 to put in a prescription for my sick 1 year old child, just to be told they weren’t accepting any prescription fills I would have to wait until the morning. Since when do pharmacies reject prescriptions for the day especially when the pharmacy is listed to close at 9pm. The 3 women on the shift was very rude and nonchalant to customers needs and unapologetic about the delay. This is unacceptable.

The sad part about this store, is I remember when it used to be a great store. Now, the shelves are bare, undesirables soliciting for money and loose cigarettes before you make it to the front door. As a Security Professional myself, I was disappointed in the “Off Duty” Police Officer they had at the front door who was more interested in talking and looking at Women’s rear ends than actually watching his “Six” and monitoring the safety of the staff and customers.Terrible excuse for employees as they come across as more from “The Hood” Service than Customer Service. Extremely higher prices than the norm as Walgreens just like other name brand retailers that serve our community, justify the use of higher prices to offset higher insurance costs to serve our community. Terrible.

I wish I didn’t have to go to this Walgreens. The Pharmacy receptionist is extremely rude and has a sassy tone every time I have called with a concern or anxiety of mine, especially when I’m polite. (I’ve worked retail and customer service jobs for years— I 100% understand the struggle, but I don’t deserve to be on the receiving end of someone else’s negativity).

Don't like this walgreens I hate that place don't like the location or the pharmacy customer service sucks here I blocked the pharmacy number because kept sending me automatic calls for prescriptions that I said I didn't need anymore

It has its good times & its bad times. If you're lucky, you end up shopping when they're properly staffed and everyone is sober. If you're less lucky, it can be a bit of a free for all. This area is depressed but coming up, and I suppose few places reflect that as well as this Walgreens. When it's 2am and I need medicine and a carton of juice and some lotion, I'm quite grateful for the convenient location and 24 hour operation of this Walgreens.

I was checking out and went to leave, and was stopped by a manager and security guard to be accused of theft. They searched my stuff in the middle of the store and then questioned where conditioner i was looking at was. I told them I put it back and they then made me show them. Then apologized and acted like it was no big deal that they just publicly embarrassed me and falsely accused me of theft. I was beyond mortified.... Definitely will never return to this Walgreens, which is sad because it's the one in my neighborhood. But I will never ever return, and I most certainly wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. They really need to get their act together.

I'm happy this Walgreens is open during this time but frustrated because the people working there aren't the brightest. Before the clerk starting scanning my things I asked him if I could split the total between two cards. He asked if I had cash and I told him no, then I asked again if they're able to split cards. He said let's see.... that was my a mistake. The manager came and said yeah that's fine we can split cards and said swipe your card. Guess what? it charged my card the full price. Then afterwards she said yeah we can't split cards😑😑😑😑😑

Parking lot filled with people peddling. Feeling unsafe. The manager needs training. It's great Walgreens hire people with disabilities; however the hearing impaired should not be on the register, especially when you need assistance....they cannot hear! Will NEVER GO THAT 71ST WALGREENS AGAIN!

I asked a employee did they have a item the guy just looked at me like i didn't say anything very bad customer service skills I talked to his manager about the issue and she apologize but that's doesn't help when the guy will still be working and treating people poorly. I will not be shopping here again. I once saw a Walgreens worker in the middle of the street fighting with a woman I almost forgot about that.

They typically don't have what I need, nor are the items in their technology section ever clean. It's usually caked with dust. There is also often a long wait for checkout because there seems to be only 2 cashiers operating usually.That said, it's still a Walgreens and I still get what I need from it. They aren't severally lacking in products, and that's all that truly matters. I don't recommend getting photos printed here though. The last time I did, none of my photos were ready on time.-Update- They are no longer Open 24/7, which was one of the biggest allures this location had.

Literally one of the worse Walgreens I’ve experienced. Lines are not very long, but checkout takes forever!!!!!!!! Literally went in for one thing, and there were two associates helping one customer, while the other just walked around. Horrible experience. Never go there if you’re in a rush. Everything’s already overpriced, so you’d think they’d be more invested in their customer service.

Just went there and the cashier was so rude and bothered. I bought two items, a sandwich and a mountain dew. I HAD TO ASK FOR A BAG (she didn't offer) and when I asked for one she put those two items in the biggest bag she had. I asked for a smaller bag and that's when she let me know that the big bag was all they had. Her customer service and attitude stinks. The end.

I just moved to this neighborhood a few years and always preferred walgreens over cvs. Walgreens offers better deals simply on almost anything. The pros on this store its close to the cta, weekly specials, some staff are professional. .... the cons it's not kept very clean, no security, pharmacy drags,And some staff just don't seem to care for the customers...

It's best to go to this location super early to avoid drug users and beggers. Everything is locked away so you will have to wait for an unresponsive team member to unlock the item. Very smelly and cluttered. The lines are always long. Just avoid this location in general. Very uncomfortable experience.

I just called to see if they deliver the girl said yes. I gave her my address she said awe naw we don’t deliver there. I live in the area with condos very safe neighborhood. Y’all destroyed the one in the neighborhood I live. Corporate Walgreens should have made it that all customer receive their medicines it’s a 15 minute drive to my home from their store. Pretty pathetic and unrational. Y’all don’t care about people getting their medicine.

Always LONG LINES to checkout. Always TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BAD ATTITUDES. Always EMPTY shelves and out of everything! Don't waste your time. Definitely don't fill your prescriptions here! Unless you want the wrong medication
