I called the Pharmacy at 7:30 with 1 caller in front of me. They kept me on hold for 30 minutes and then hung up one me. Is this the way you treat people looking for a life saving Rx??? They kept picking up the phone and then putting me back on hold until it was closing time. I will definitely be. O I my Rx. I get you all are busy, we ALL ARE!!! This is your chosen job to help people and answer questions and calls. DO BETTER!!! You lost a customer

The most useless pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Since switching to this location, every time I try to get a refill they denied my refill because they say they don't have it in their system, but the bottle they gave me last time, with their own label, clearly says I have refills. Every time, I have to call my doctor and have it resent. I've only been using this location for about a year since my last pharmacy closed down, but it's time to find another pharmacy. They also don't answer their phones. I've waiting on hold for 30+ minutes several times and eventually give up.

Has to be the worst walgreens in existence, which is sad because I have fond memories here, grew up with it. The problem is they never have more than 1 person working the register until the line backs up enough to where you would need 7 people behind the register to keep up. This is a problem, this is a busy walgreens. Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry. It could take you 10-15 minutes to buy a red bull

Good luck getting someone to answer the phone. I get hung up on 9/10 times after they answer and I can literally hear them!!!My prescription has been out two weeks and Walgreens has done nothing to inform customers of the potential risks and side effects of not getting their medication on time. No urgency whatsoever.

The pharmacy here is atrocious. Always a long line, staff is super understaffed, they always have a backlog of prescriptions/lose things, and have breaks at terrible hours (Ex:645-715pm) where they shut down entirely. Go somewhere else if you can!

They filled my prescription the same day and the employees were kind and respectful. They also are working very hard during this cold/flu season to make sure we all get our medicine in a timely manner. I appreciate the pharmacists here.

if I could I would put 0 stars, worst pharmacy experience ever, I work at a clinic and have called over 10 times to cancel a patients prescription, after around 5 tries and being on hold for 30 min some rude girl answered quickly and said "omg just hang up" and put me back on HOLD. I can not stress how unprofessional and rude these people are I hope they all get fired and get sent to clean bathrooms instead cause obviously they are completely incapable of answering a damn phone. please never send your prescriptions here

Walgreens Corporate needs to invest more in this location and replace staff. Worst pharmacy in the United States. The service is so bad at this location - both pharmacy and retail - that it literally seems like a social experiment. Employees intentionally work as a slow possible and walk about 1 mph when the are needed - just to show their indignation. When its busy, the pharmacy doesn't answer the phone. More outrageous is that when there is a line at closing (8pm) they try to refuse service to people who were already waiting 10 minutes.

i worked as a pharmacy tech at walgreens in college and this is by far the most horrific store i’ve been to in my entire life. a woman who seemed to be a manager of some sort tried to fight me in line, meanwhile i didn’t even interact with her but only with the very nice gentleman at the cashier. it escalatedto the point where security guards had to pull her away and i didn’t even know what was happening. a few hours prior, another cashier disrespected my friend who lives across the street. i don’t know what’s happening at this location but it needs to be shut down immediately. i’m typing this while still on a 20 min hold. “we’re sorry, our staff is handling other calls. please hold on and we’ll be with you shortly”. ??? how many people are calling you at 2am, seriously. time to pull footage on these folks

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. In urgent need of a script, the pharmacist told me to come back in an hour and a half. I came back 2.5 hours later, waited in line for over 20 minutes, and when I got up front the pharmacist said that’s not going to be ready until tomorrow… I told her I needed the medicine as I had to euthanize my cat the next day and she didn’t even respond. I asked her why she told me to come back and she said that’ll be ready tomorrow or go to a 24-hour pharmacy. I will never go for convenience over service ever, ever again. Stay away from this place as they will ruin your day.

I consistently have awful experiences here. They now only stay open to 5pm on Sundays which means they will close at 455 like they did yesterday. I called this morning to inquire about my prescription, I was put on hold while she checked, told it was there. I go back just now and no prescription. They have huge lines constantly in person or over the phone, they will tell you whatever to get you off the phone. The manager today was very kind and helpful. In the past, the manager will sit there while the lines goes around the corner and when you ask him if he can help customers he says he is "working" in a snotty tone. if you can use a different pharmacy I'd suggest that as this place is grossly incompetent.

Try try try to call but the hold to speak with a representative is endless, the music goes on and on, the staff seems to pick up the phone just to put it back in hold, to make the story short I tried to call four times and hold time went over 15 minutes until the hold music goes silent. They pick up the phone for a second and put them back in hold... I like Walgreens, but this pharmacy staff should be shout down and restart with new staff trained in customer service. I prefer to drive 20 minutes to different pharmacy.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been at! Rude staff that acts as if your an inconvenience. They make mistakes and you have to pay. No one wants to do their job and the pharmacist won’t speak to you. I could go on and on about how bad they are, no positives.

NO STARS!!! The worst pharmacy service ever!!!! Just hangs up on me after a long time repeat on - holds. At least answer or keep me on-hold but don’t hang up. I’m short staffed at work also but you don’t want me to treat you like that. I feel for the people with urgent matters or elderly having to deal with lack of courtesy from a pharmacy of all places.

My conclusions: making an appointment at Walgreen's means very little, expect a long line and extended wait to reach the pharmacy window, Walgreens doesn't seem to prioritize pickup of medicine, or shots over dry goods purchases which could utilize the front counter and its cashiers, staffing a busy Walgreen's store at Wells and North Ave, will require a very experience pharmacist that can multi-task or two inexperienced pharmacists (the one on duty today looked very young) or very patient customers that are willing to wait an extended period. Perhaps my experience is normal for the times, but having used this pharmacy for years, including during the height of covid-19, this was the worst experience yet. I note that boosters were not yet available at this location.Details: (hopefully Walgreens is monitoring social media and this feedback will be helpful) Scheduled a appointment online to receive the second shingles vaccine (not covid-19) at noon. Arrived ahead of time at 11:45AM, only one person was working the pharmacy window. Three people were ahead of me in line waiting to reach the pharmacy window. I reached the front of the line at about noon (two of the people ahead of me in line had dry goods to check out, one of them had a problem and the cashier had to void and rescan). By now there were four or five people waiting behind me. I let the cashier know about the growing line which included some elderly and frail looking seniors. The pharmacist overheard, and announced that she was working as fast as she could. I filled out the one page of paper work and got seated. A person waiting for their second covid-19 shot was seated nearby shortly thereafter. Fifteen minutes later I was still waiting to get my shot as was the person with the covid-19 appointment. There was only one pharmacist on duty with two other people working with her. One of those people joined the first cashier, which helped those waiting in line to get to the window but did nothing for the two of us waiting for the pharmacist to administer the shots. I left, speaking with a manager about the best time to try again (better than midday during the week?) and the lack of pharmacy help. In an ironic twist when I reached home after a brief walk (10-15 minutes) I got a call from Walgreens letting me know that the pharmacist was now ready to administer my shot.

The pharmacy at this locations is a DISASTER. Either they are understaffed or the staff is super inefficient, because there is always at least a 15 minute wait. When there is an issue with your prescription, they do not notify you, and they often do not have certain medications in stock for weeks at a time. On multiple occasions, I have tried to call, gotten put on hold, only for the call to be ended on Walgreen's side. I am transferring all of my prescriptions to a different location.

My wife and I received our COVID vaccine boosters here today. The earlier negative comments concerned me, but that was not our experience. This pharmacy was fully staffed with at least 6 people, including a nurse. We were in and out in as quickly as they could process the forms.

The website said the pharmacy opened at 9:00 am on Saturday morning. There was a line of 5-6 people waiting for it to open. About 9:15, a store employee posted a sign saying the pharmacy wouldn't open until 10:00 am. Poor customer service, a lack of support for the neighborhood and generally a store that I will no longer patronize.

Pharmacist is not on duty from 1:30pm to 2pm which is not reflected in their pharmacy hours listed. They also very consistently mess up my prescription refills. Also, good luck getting someone in the pharmacy on the phone. You will be on hold for at least 15 minutes and they will repeatedly pick-up as if they are going to answer and then put you back on hold without saying anything. This is so much more frustrating than if they just left you on hold the whole time. HIRE MORE PHARMACY STAFF!

Very rude and slow pharmacy workers. And once even heard them gossiping about a cusomer's insurance that had expired and the tech was annoyed having to explain prices/options to the customer. Have some empathy. I always use CVS but when in a pinch this Walgreens is close to where I live and I hate coming here. Total lack of professionalism and customer service.

I HAVE NEVER EVER WRITTEN A REVIEW, BUT I JUST HAD TO FOR THIS WALGREENS.First time visitor and I will not being using any Walgreen's clinics. A lot of these comments are saying go to CVS which is exactly what I ended up doing. I was in and out of CVS within 20 mins. Better yet, the doctor wasn't rude and worked with my insurance. However, I'd rather pay out of pocket and go elsewhere. THAT'S how bad it was.

I came in for a passport photo. I made eye contact with Sandy, the manager, who was behind the photo register. As I am approaching she quickly moves away from the register. She reluctantly asked “How can I help you?” And I replied “I need to take a passport photo.” She looked me right in my eyes and said “We are busy at the moment, so you’re gonna have to come back later or check back with us tomorrow.” My mask was on but my mouth dropped! Furthermore, she saw my expression and didn’t care to explain or even suggest I get in line to accommodate, she just walked off into the aisles 😳.Most encounters with her are short and dismissive. But this time, I couldn’t believe the manager didn’t make an effort to value my time or the business of the company. This event was around 5:30 pm on a Saturday, today. I drove to CVS on Sheffield and was helped immediately.

I am not in the area, but I called in prescription, for 1 they are not really friendly. I understand the pharmacy can get busy with the vaccine, but putting me on hold 3 times in a row without word is just bad customer service.

I usually like Walgreens but this location is a mess. I came in for a COVID vaccine and was told that the pharmacist wasn’t there even though I scheduled the appointment days in advance. Why would you allow someone to schedule an appointment during a time when they’re not available? Unrelated to the pharmacy, I’ve found this location is often out of stock of basic items, so it isn’t reliable for both pharmacy and every day purchases.
