Customer Service Representative Daniki informed me that I couldn’t make a return at the store and had to go to the original store. I then left sat in my car looked up Walgreens policy and called the original store. Original store said I can return at any store and also Walgreens policy online stated I can return at any store. I then walked back in the store to make the returns with the same representative who told me I couldn’t. Rep called the manager who the manager also called someone else on her radio to ask them can I make a return from a different store. By this time Rep had an attitude but did make my returns. I just feel like this should be common knowledge as a Walgreens employee. This wasn't a difficult or unusual task. Two employees didn’t know basic policies. For me to go look up a policy for somewhere I don’t even work and deal with attitude when I was the one inconvenienced is very unprofessional and rude. I was lied to, not apologized to and on top of that given attitude. Wow Walgreens.

This Walgreens is the worst in all south side . No way to get your prescription on time . It’s was always same thing when my wife was pregnant and for our daughter first prescription they first told us that the prescription should be ready by 3:30 pm, after calling they said by 5pm. It actually 8:08 on Tuesday March 26th, 2024 and still nothing. Unbelievable

Police officer working the area, needed to use the washroom at 3am because EVERYTHING is closed, security says they have no public washroom which is bull, its a healthcode violation to not have a working washroom. I have never had an issue with a Wallgreens until today...Definatly wont be shopping at this location.

I visited sleep deprived and in a bad mood. The employees were very helpful. Dezerey greeted me when entered. Helped unlock a display for medicine. She asked if someone i am caring for was sick. She was very kind and sympathetic about my sick son. Made sure i used my rewards and helped update my contact information. The pharmacist was also helpful. I do not remember her name. found everything we needed. This was the friendliest Walgreens i can ever recall shopping at over my five decades of life. My mood was lifted after leaving. South side always gets dumped on and so I am always glad to experience a diamond of good customer service in our community. I shared this review on the walgreenslistens survey too

Shouldn’t even rate it one star. I think it shut down or new management. The staff is awful. Not really much of a staff anyway. No security. And too much activity goes on in and around that Walgreens. I had to wait a while for someone to unlock the shelving for laundry detergent, which I have never had to experience at any other Walgreens simply ridiculous.

Visit this location 9-6-2023 at 11:38 am , to pick up a prescription i receive good customer service however went to the front to make a purchase the line was real long I ask a associate could she get someone to help the cashier she replied that someone was coming you have to wait because she's coming from the back with a smart tone and someone open up in the photo department and her attitude was very nasty and smart attitude. Customer service was very bad today,I was very disappointed.

Believe it or not this isn't my first disappointing situation with this store's pharmacy but both cases are similar....my prescription was submitted on 8/24/23 it took 6 days for me to pick up a partial prepared prescription (5 tabs) out of 30 submitted after a lengthy delay I was texted that the other portion is ready after altogether 15 days and adding insult to this incompetence after picking up my meds I arrived home to count just 20 tablets..!! Like the first times delay after delay even being texted my prescription is "ready for pickup" this time it only contained 20 tablets... someone is stealing in that pharmacy dept because it should not take 2+ weeks to receive my medicine..!! The med is Zubsolv 5.7-1-4 mg by the way.. while they're remodeling the pharmacy they should overhaul the techs too...

I was on hold for over 15 minutes and it wasn't that someone eventually answered the phone. I got out of my bed, got dressed, drove to Walgreens and walked to the Pharmacy and I was still on hold. I asked why do you keep customers on hold so long I was told they have an answering service. Really? So who's the person that eventually picks says please hold and puts the call back on hold? At the end of the day staff needs better customer service training on phone etiquette and if there is an answering service it needs to be replaced.

I thought CVS was bad, at lease they answer the phone. I just called Walgreens Pharmacy, the phone repeated ringing, going to music for 16 minutes. No one answered. I droppedoff a prescription yesterday and was told they would contact me when ready. I have not heard from them. Very poor customer service. It would be nice if you can rate NO stars.

Needs new management. The management is horrible. They didn't have shopping carts for a year, now I believe they may have 2. Worst pharmacy in the city of Chicago. They never answer the phone, and are rude and slow filling prescriptions. They need lights in the lot, they need security, they need new management. All the employees seem unhappy, and the way the place is being ran, I truly understand. The morning clerk that's works in camera is rude and nasty. I think her name is Brandy. The male manager with the hips is rude, unless he is flirting with you. The place is horrible.

Lack of professionalism with the pharmacy. People actually need medication, either you like the job dealing with service or you don't. To say there's a 1 hour wait, to call 1 hr 30 minutes later to be told another 30 minutes, just to arrive and here them say it's not filled and then the order had the capability to be filled in less 10 minutes shows your level of CARE . Unfortunately this 😕 seems like a trend with walgreens post covid operations.

This Walgreens is horrible..super slow, and unprofessional. I went through the drive-thru today to pick up my son's prescriptions. I only received one prescription, so when I inquired about the second prescription..they told me I'd need a prescription to pick it up. I told them I DO have a prescription, both prescriptions were sent at the same time. The lady then tells I need to get out of line and drive around until she gets it ready, because the car behind me is waiting. I'm sorry..what?? I also had been waiting in line for 30 minutes, now I need to wait more? How is an error on their part,suddenly my fault. This place is unbelievable!!

If I could give them 0 stars I would! It is currently 10:56 and I have been on hold for 44min. Someone occasionally comes to the phone and puts me right back on hold without saying a word. The pharmacy goes on lunch break at 11:00am until 11:30 so I am certain I will not be helped today. Customer service at this pharmacy is the worst. I will be changing to mail order prescription service

When I say this is the absolute worst Walgreens establishment.... I believe that. Nothing about this place is fast. Not the pharmacy inside, nor drive thru, cashier, photo booth, I mean nothing. Management gives hard time about returns after a couple hours with receipt. Scheduled covid-19 vaccination appointments lasts an hour easy. Do yourself a favor and drive a little longer to the next establishment or just cross the street and go to Jewel Osco.

This pharmacy is overwhelmed! If you need a prescription in the next couple of hours, aht aht find somebody else to do it! Prescriptions will be 2 days late because they are always behind. There is a few other Walgreens near by.

I can't give it zero stars so 1 will have to suffice, asides from waiting in the first lane in pharmacy for 20 minutes and watching three cars come and go to the right... I guess that is enough to frustrate any soul. I should have silenced myself because when I quietly commented that I was there long before the Ford Focus the young man was able to avenge himself by making me wait another ten minutes! Unless you pack a lunch, bring a snack and have an hour to give away...do NOT GO TO THIS WALGREENS Pharmacy ..he did tell me to have a good day...lol

If you call them either they don't answer, keep picking up and placing you directly on hold without saying anything, or just flay out hanging up on you. You shouldn't have to go into the store for a simple question. The Pharmacy management needs to hold staff accountable because this is terrible.

I worked for Walgreens once upon a time for 7 years and I have no idea why the pharmacies no matter what Walgreens I go to is the worst. It used to be u would get your prescription in an hour or less they would contact u if further info was needed etc. but now it takes 2-3 hours to fill a prescription if anything goes wrong after you’ve dropped off they don’t contact u to inform u ur just under the impression that it’s getting done until u go to pick up and it’s not filled. They are obviously understaffed and probably not getting the benefits as they used too. Walgreens used to be my go to for prescriptions but now I’m tired of the bs so I’m definitely trying Somewhere else next time I’ve had it!! It’s probably why so many have been closing the pharmacies are the bread and butter and they’ve definitely gone downhill!!

I would give no stars . This is the worst pharmacy in life. They don’t have a care in the world about anyone’s health and how bad someone needs their meds. I put my prescription in at 10am though the drive thru which was supposed to be ready within an hour, and when I went to pick it up because I didn’t receive anything saying it was ready, the pharmacist told me they had nothing for me. I had told him I had went through the drive thru, so then he went over to it and found my prescription sitting there, and it had not been touched. My meds was not ready til 6pm. No one apologized and this happens every time I have meds

A pharmacist, by the name of Amber, wrongfully refused to sell me medication through the drive through and then lied and said it was state law, after I had just spoken on the phone with a representative that stated otherwise. I sat in the drive through for 30 minutes for her to tell me that I had to come inside to purchase medicine that clearly could have been sold to me through the drive through at my convenience. This service was disappointing because it was a blatant disregard to the CUSTOMERS time and convenience.

DO NOT USE THE PHARMACY! I’ve been waiting 3 days for my child’s RX. It’s a cough medicine and everyday it has been “it’ll be ready in an hour” and NEVER READY WE STILL DON’T HAVE THE RX. AGAIN TOLD IT SHOULD BE READY IN AN HOUR. It’s honestly DISGUSTING AND LAZY AS HELL.

This is the only 24hr pharmacy around. So I'm technically stuck with it. But when I say I think the Pharmacy service as far as speed is ridiculous. Rather if you're waiting in side or the drive thru it will forever be a WAIT. And now since it's a double drive thru it make things even worser. I stood behind a car for 45mins while watching the second lane move really fast. I feel like if you have people who have issues that can hold up the drive thru then they should tell them to come inside.
