They were great with my aggressive reactive dog. He's a little monster and he needed an emergency groom, and uptown pet salon was able to fit him in on short notice and get him cleaned up. I couldn't believe how fluffy and soft he is.

Uptown Pet Salon is wonderful! My pup sheds like crazy every spring/fall, so we take him here very routinely. He’s an anxious pup and the groomers always treat him with so much love and patience! They give him deshedding treatments which works wonders. He always comes back to us looking shiny, handsome and shed free.Highly recommend them!

I took my guinea pig here and they cut her nails too deep and made the nails bleed she wouldn’t eat anything and in a few days she passed away. I don’t blame the salon for her death because she was already old but i do blame them for cutting her nails the wrong way, and they took her with them so i couldn’t see what they were doing. ‼️PLZ DONT TAKE YOUR SMALL ANIMALS HERE‼️

Brought my big beautiful Sheepadoodle for a bath and brush and they did an amazing job. Now bring both of my dogs as they are fair priced and do a very nice job. Highly recommended

We have been loyal customers of Maria and Uptown Pet Salon since they were Dogs and Cats Grooming over 12 years ago--and continued to take both our first and second doodles to them. We have always been happy with their service, specifically we have liked availability of appointments, quick turnaround so our doodle doesn't spend all day in their shop and fair pricing. They do the same cut every time, so that part is easy enough.This week, after almost 5 years taking our second doodle to them, a brand new receptionist told us at pick-up that the price had been raised 25% due to the size of the dog, the new year and his behavior. None of this had been communicated when I made the appointment--or at any point in our previous 5 years of getting our dog groomed, so all of this came as a surprise.When I called to speak with the owner/groomer to make sure I understood their concerns and pricing, the receptionist refused to let me speak with them and was not at all interested in my feedback or concerns.We have referred many friends to Uptown Pet Salon and never received any thanks or appreciation from them. This loyal customer will find somewhere else to have our doodle groomed.

I’m so impressed with Uptown Pet Salon! I’ve been taking our dog here for a year and have experienced consistently great communication, easy to get in for an appointment, quick and efficient grooms, and most importantly do a fantastic haircut for my pup! Their prices are very reasonable as well. I know she is in great hands here.

They were great in the beginning (been going here 2 years) but I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore or at least for senior dogs. My 17 yo dog got her eye scratched and they failed to inform me. She hasn’t been able to see, squinting and teary eyed and she only has 1 eye :( We were able to get a last min dr appt. I will be looking for another grooming salon.

Uptown Salon is great! Been bringing my dog here for about a year now. They are very friendly and she is less afraid to go here than Ravenswoof. Not to compare the two, but this place has a less judgmental vibe. I have a doodle who is sometimes a little matted. And they’ve never made me feel bad about it. Pricing is pretty comparable to other places in the area. Best thing is they almost always have openings within about a week, so no need to book months in advance like other places. Highly recommend!

Been going here for probably 5-7 years. This place is amazing and my dogs love them and they are super super crazy dogs but the owners/groomers just laugh and say they are well behaved and tell me they are adorable 😂. True dog lovers.

I absolutely love the way my dogs groom turned out! For reference, I have a mini golden doodle puppy and senior Maltipoo. They were both done in an hour and a half. The owners were so polite and friendly. I highly recommend them! This is the best haircut my pets have received.

If you have a Goldendoodle, this is the place to take them! I brought my Girl Sushi here, and I've had groomings take 4 hours, but Sushi's only took 2.5! The price is incredible, and while I've had trouble finding appointments, they were able to take me NEXT DAY! 5/5, would recommend!

They are amazing. They are a small neighborhood shop, they are always available. You don’t have to plan ahead for an appointment a month ahead like other places. My baby loves her time there and she comes back smelling good and with the best grooming ever. I definitely recommend this place! Super friendly and they love your loved ones.

This place is a gem. I've brought my cat for several years and they've always been wonderful. They schedule quickly, the cuts are meticulous and affordable, and the staff is great. But the remarkable thing is that my extremely shy cat seems to enjoy the visits and the haircuts. As anyone with a shy cat knows, that's a big credit to the groomers!

Took my dog for the first time, and it was last minute and they were extremely accommodating. My dogs cut came out fantastic and the pricing was very reasonable compared to where I was taking her before. I will definitely be a returning customer! Highly recommend.

This place is amazing! Whenever I call they always have availability. My dog is pretty anxious when it comes to getting groomed but I can tell she trusts the staff here because she will walk over to them to take her to get cleaned. They are so loving towards her and she always comes back looking beautiful and smelling great!

I really wanted to love this place. I have two long haired cats and one of them really needs help maintaining her coat. She can be difficult (but is declawed) and does not like being groomed, which I told the guy who scheduled my appointment and I reiterated it when I dropped her off.They said they would call when she was ready. Two hours later with no call I started to get nervous. Lion cuts don’t take that long. So I called to check on the status, and the groomer got on the phone sounding a little frustrated about my cats temperament. She asked if I wanted her to be bathed as well but she was “difficult”. I said no, please just be done with her and I would come get herHow long was my cat going to be in her carrier in a room full of barking dogs (which was not advertised anywhere that the cats and dogs would be together) before they told me to come get her? My cat is fine but the poor communication didn’t instill any confidence in them and sadly we won’t be back. It’s probably a better place if you’re a dog owner. Cat owners should probably look for a more cat friendly place

I had an appointment scheduled for for Dog Grooming for Friday, 6/30. I called on 6/29 to confirm and the outgoing voicemail message is that they will be closed from 6/26 through 7/5. I certainly don’t mind a vacation but you have to tell people that have appointments scheduled. They take your name and number. Make the call. So unprofessional.

Great place!!! I was very impressed by how my long haired cat was groomed. My kitty gets super stressed and shaky so I was happy to see that he was less stressed coming out of the salon than in. The haircut was nice, even and smooth. Their ETA was accurate and this place has more than fair pricing, I was actually a little surprised that it was cheaper than my previous groomer in Minnesota. (I was ready to pay more for the service I received) so thank you uptown pet salon for taking great care of my cat!

I’ve been going to this place for about 6months my dog has anxiety when it comes to getting groomed so he can be a bit difficult to groom and recently I’ve noticed the lady who groomed him started to get annoyed when he would go in. This Saturday my dog had his appointment he went in and before I left I told the guy at the front desk to tell the groomers that he had a wart on his back left leg and to be carful with it he told me he would tell them, when I got my baby back he came out with two bald spots and when I was taking him a bath later in the day I noticed that his wart was cut in half and it was bleeding, the groomers didn’t tell me they cut his wart either I had to find out myself when I was taking him a bath.Never going back to this place again!! Be careful when taking your pet to this place!!

I had a horrible experience the one time I came into this place. Before adding anything I should add that my dog was very old at this point and her hair had bits of dry patches plus she was blind but not at all aggressive rather shy and scared to hear new voices and people touching her so she’d pull back at hearing someone she didn't know. The lady who washed my poor old dog was rude and complained about my schnauzer’s curly hair and looked at her with disgust too when giving her back to me saying that my dogs dry hair would probably give her some type of illness, she seemed eager to get my dog out as if something were to happen to her and she even offered to let us leave without paying if we would just leave asap. The cut was also very bad with random longer pieces here and there, she just looked bad overall and it appeared like an at home cut. Very upsetting because she should’ve voiced her opinions before I brought her in if she wouldn’t take my dog knowing she was blind and with the type of hair she had.

Great place we've taken lola here for 5yrs now an she isn't the easiest doggie we have try to do it our selfs in the beginning an it was like we were trying to kill her couldn't even get close to her to do anything but some how they do it each time we love Uptown Pet Salon for what they do try them you'll learn to love them to like we do

My dog is kind of a d-bag and doesn't like getting her nails cut. Usually it takes 3 ppl to hold her down while another one cuts. They did a pretty great job here and seemed to handle her well. Definitely coming back for all our nail cutting needs

Took my retriever Cleo in for a "summer cut" for the first time in her 11 years. It turned out great! She looks better than I expected, and will be so much more comfortable in the heat. Was able to make an appointment the same week, no online forms or paper work hassles, in and out in under 2 hours. I will definitely use uptown again!
