We take our dog, Duncan, to Tucker's for both daycare and overnight stays. The staff takes great care of Duncan while he is there and he seems to have a great time while he is there.The photos they provide while we are traveling help give us some peace of mind that he is enjoying his vacation just as much as we are enjoying ours.

This is a great place to groom and board your pet. Everything from the service to communication is professional and friendly. The groomers are the best of the best and working with Lauren to keep our golden doodle continuously handsome has been stress free and simple. Just be sure to book 4 weeks in advance because there are a lot of happy customers and it’s difficult to get on their calendar for grooming.

Dionne did a fantastic job as always! Guinness looks so fluffy and cuddly after his grooming! She really helped thin out his coat with the de-shedding treatment, which he’ll definitely appreciate as the weather gets warmer! I wish we could get him groomed every day!

Tucker Pups was recommended to me by a few friends, & after a consultation call with one of their trainers, Jessie (which in itself was an awesome experience), I decided to sign up for private lessons. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her & my experience so far! I adopted a 6-month old lab/great dane mix who had never been on a leash/walk, & had never left his previous owners backyard. The city has been a huge change, & VERY overwhelming for him (and me!). He’s already 70lbs as a puppy, so I really wanted to get him under control/adjusted quickly. I called Tucker Pups in a panic after my first few days with him, & I’m so thankful I did. In our first session, Jessie was able to teach me his communication style, ways to use positive reinforcement to get him calm in new situations, & how to get him comfortable on a leash/harness. I’ve had two sessions so far, & it’s truly been night & day since I brought Kenobi home two weeks ago. Jessie has been a rock for me, even providing treat & toy recommendations that fit his chewing style & personality (she’s made me feel more confident & capable, too). I cannot wait until Kenobi is ready for daycare & other services at Tucker Pups - Jessie & the team are phenomenal!

Tucker does such a good job with our bernedoodle, Oskar. They take care to remove any matting but still keep his hair as long as they can, which I really appreciate and know isn’t easy. He always looks so handsome after he leaves there. It’s expensive, but worth it IMO.

This was my first time taking my dog for training. I was a lil iffy about it. But honestly I’m so glad I went ahead with it. I have a 3 year old German Shepard that’s a lil protective… Resource guarding. I didn’t even know there was a term for it. So during walks he will react to people and dogs. At home no guest can come in or near me lol But Kathleen Jager-Wilcox is an amazing trainer! The first day he was catching up quick. She was letting me know about his body language and what to do . His been doing great on not pulling the leash and walking next to me now. I do recommend the harness that’s at tucker pup and pouch for the treats. I appreciate Kathleen for letting me about those the first day cause I had prongs on him. Now my dog sees the treat pouch and gets excited for walks and knows to behave. He just eyes that pouch on walks lol Honestly I appreciate Kathleen for the training and information she has shared. It showed me Akamaru does want to learn and is capable of learning. She’s patient and acknowledgeable for sure. If you are having behavior problems with your fur babies. Kathleen is your go to for sure! Thank you for introducing me to the cheese treats! He loves it! lol

My dog has been to the puppy socials, puppy manners class, and intermediate manners class. We’ve had a great experience at all these classes and my dog has truly developed so much in his first year! The entire staff is great and very passionate about their work. Based on our experience, I strongly trust Tucker Pups for all training but also their other services as well!!

Natalie Bracht was a great teacher for training. She was very good with the dogs, especially my giant ball of energy that is my golden retriever. Would definitely recommend classes and her as a teacher as well. Also I take my girl here for boarding and daycare as well and highly recommend both

We love TuckerPups Daycare for our dog Doug, we appreciate the socialization experience he has and the staff is very accommodating, friendly and professional. Any changes to our scheduling is handled efficiently and we are super impressed with how organized everything is. We also love that our dog Doug is always greeted by the staff with the same positive energy our dog has. The staff has gotten to know Doug and he seems to have a lot of friends there, I highly recommend Tuckerpups for anyone looking for daycare options in Chicago

Expensive - but absolutely worth it. They do an unbelievable job of not only taking care of my corgi, but also providing useful and convenient services that make my life easier.We often have our dog groomed as part of her stay when we travel, and she comes out of it happy, excited and very clean.The front desk is also amazing at answering questions and accommodating requests.

We did private training with Angela Love, who was truly the best!! I feel like Reggie is a whole different dog after working with her. She was attentive, thoughtful, and also very fun to work with. She seemed to really care not only about his success but helping me find the tools to continue the training, even offering to help meet up if we continue to struggle with his playtime energy with other dogs. We miss working with her already!

As a first-time pup mom, I highly recommend turn-key with such an experienced and loving trainer like Jessie. She made me feel very secure, and my pup adores her. I did private training for my pup to help with recall and lease walking. Claire was amazing with my pup Chester! He loved spending time with her and made significant progress since working with her. Claire had two sessions with me to teach me what they worked on so that I can continue the training with Chester. Tucker Pup's Pet Resort stands out as one of the best daycare and boarding centers for dogs in the city. Our dog loves all the people there because they love her! Every employee is enthusiastic, friendly, and loves dogs. They're also confident in their ability to identify what each dog needs and to make sure they have a good experience with all the other dogs. We wouldn't take our dog anywhere else!

I've used Tucker Pup's for training when my standard poodle was a puppy and today I went to have her groomed (first time). I've used groomers all over the city in the past and have always had mixed results. Tucker Pup's was amazing! The groomer knew exactly what to do with minimal direction - she even had a standard poodle herself! She was professional and efficient. A full groom was done in ~2 hours and my pup looks fantastic. I will be back!

I recently boarded my 1.5 yo pup with Tucker Pup's. This was her first boarding experience and both my partner and I were somewhat nervous as to how she would acclimate. Within a day of dropping her off, Tucker Pup's sent us a photo of her playing outside. After 24 hours I called to see if they could provide an update on how she was doing. Staff were very understanding and provided an email update with details about how she was eating, playing and resting. I really appreciated the detailed update and it allowed us to relax and trust that she truly was in good hands. Upon picking her up, she was her usual smiley and playful self. We will most certainly be using Tucker Pup's again for future boarding needs.

Dionne is an incredible groomer! I don’t have a car and since moving, I still Uber across town just to bring my pup here. Dionne always gives great advice for home care and took the grooming process slowly with my rescue last year when I started bringing her. She used to have long fur and Dionne was great at keeping it tidy, but her haircuts are so cute for shorter fur too!!

My puppy has already started to implement what Jessie taught her. I can not believe she changed her behavior so quickly. I am looking forward to progressing through our sessions. Note: Jessie has always been extremely punctual, to the minute, and has navigated some unexpected delays on my part. She is extremely professional, kind, and fun to talk to even though she focuses our conversation pretty much strictly to our training to maximize our time together.

We just returned from vacation. Our 7 pound toy poodle, Benito, enjoyed 9 days at Tucker Pups. Staff went above and beyond to work with Benito's picky eating. We always feel comfortable leaving Benito at Tucker Pups as we travel. Benito loves it there and we know he will be loved and given the attention he craves.

I have nothing but great things to say about Tucker Pups! The staff has gone above and beyond to make this experience wonderful not only for my dog but for me as well! They were so quick with responses when checking in on my dog and their feedback/comments about my dog were so diligent and thorough. The staff goes above and beyond to really get to know each and every dog. They send pictures of your dog as well - it’s a nice bonus to be able to see your dog with other dogs :)

We did two puppy classes, puppy play time and now private lessons through Tucker Pups. We did the turnkey training with Jessie and she did a great job helping Remi to improve her behavior in the house, at the park and on walks. Remi loves learning and spending time with Jessie. We will be continuing our training with Jessie to work on baby related activities!

I love Tucker Pup’s & so does my dog Penny! :) She’s had medical issues in the past & had a flare up while at Tucker Pup’s for boarding. They let me know immediately and talked to my vet and I about whether she should go to the emergency room. I get very anxious about leaving my dog with someone else, but they made me feel so much better & even had someone check-in on her at night to make sure she was okay. They have a great outdoor area & always let you know if your pup is having issues. I wish they sent more pictures during boarding or had a live-cam that I could watch, but other than that they’re the best!!

I never worried about my dog Ty while away from him for the first time; I knew he was in great hands with the team at Tucker’s, and when I reached out asking for updates they were extremely quick and always provided more than just “he’s doing well”. I so appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to the care of my dog and I know it is quickly becoming one of his favorite places to be! Raven was also wonderful with him for his first bath post boarding, he is so clean and looks amazing. Could not recommend Tucker’s more!

We used Susy at tucker Pups for dog training. We did turn key then 8 private lessons with her. She is so great. . She never makes you feel silly for asking questions. Our grate dane/lab has learned so much working with Susy!Our dog now can loose leash walk, go in his crate on command, sit, down, leave it, stay at the door and "say hi" to other people. He is playful and confident in himself. Susy was so great to work with and so helpful with enrichment games and toys. We feel so grateful we got to work with Susy. Susy is so kind and knowledgeable about dogs and training. She taught us what to do when situations come up outside with other dogs.It's worth spending the money on tucker pups dog training.
