She is very sweet with them, takes her time and Lauren really listens to what you want for your dog. Everyone here is super friendly ! Yuri at the dog room is the best groomer in Chicago. She is skilled at cutting and has a wonderful way with dogs. She has groomed my poodle tony for the last eight years and She cuts with precision and creativity. Tony is a shy dog but loves going to see his auntie Yuri. They have a special bond. Another major plus is your pet is ready to be picked up in two hours. If you are looking for an expert groomer Yuri is the one!

I absolutely love how this place takes care of Tobi. Every single time he's there, he's so pampered and happy when he walks out, I love it. Prices are based on the dog breed & size, but it's all-inclusive pricing - I pay a reasonable price to get my dog groomed (this includes bath, haircut, nail trimming, and teeth cleaning). It doesn't take more than about 1.5 hours for him to be ready for pick up, which is so much better than any petco, petsmart, or anywhere else you would typically take your dog to. The best part is that dogs are NOT caged! They are sitting by the window, just hanging out and waiting for their owners to pick them up. This is great because my dog isn't stressed when I pick him up. I have never had any issues with any of the workers or other dogs. It's a wonderful facility and i highly recommend it.

The owner, Yuri, is so nice! She was very thorough asking me how I wanted my dog groomed. She was timely, and the facility has ZERO crates. My dogs cut looked great and we will be back!

My previous groomer of 10 years told me about these ladies since she was moving out of town.. I strongly hesitated having to go somewhere new and having to get my fur baby familiar to someone else. That said... From the moment I called to made my appointment down to the actual visit- I was incredibily pleased with how friendly and professional they all were ...At the drop off/pick up i was glad to see that all the dogs there or getting groomed looked very happy .. (not caged or distressed so that is always great) Thank you ladies for taking great care of my Coco... He was beyond happy *see before and after pic* I think we found our new groomers -- *just pls dont move out of town...lol 😂

I took my American bulldog to get groom yesterday and she has bad back legs and shes old and weights 70 lbs. When I told them they said don't worry we will take care of her. I made the appointment at 9:00 am and told me 1 hour and they were done in 1 hour. My dog looked so good her fur was smooth ears clean nails done. If you don't want to worry about your pet The DOg Room is the place to bring your dog small or big. Everyone there was very nice.

This place is an absolute rip off. Got charged $100 for one dog and $130 for my other dog. When we went to pick them up, it looked like they barely had anything done to them. We called to question it and see if they could fix it. They said no, they would not because we scheduled them for a trim. Ok, yes, my husband said a trim when he called. However when he brought them in, he pointed to a dog and specifically asked for a cut similar to that. Nope, not even close to what our dogs received. I'm appaled that they refused to fix it. On top of it, we got yelled at when we called .Over $200 down the drain.

Last-minute walk-in to get our big pup a trim after we gave him a bath ourselves. I have neither the tools nor the expertise but boy this place does! They did a spectacular job of giving him great ‘lines’ along his legs, tail, chest and feet: all for a very reasonable price. We will be back.

Affordable and worth it. My beagle mix got a de-shed shampoo and condition, ear cleaning, nail clipping, all for 30$ (this is the basic groom) with a toothbrushing for an extra 5$! There were a lot of dogs in the small room though, but they all kept to themselves. My friend recommended this place to me. She takes her Yorkie here for grooms for many years now.

I have been going here for about 1 year, give good tips. Was 15 minutes late 1 time due to a small emergency with the dog and was told they could not groom my dog, groomer was there on the phone and didn’t seem to care. I don’t bother with places that don’t care about people and dogs. Won’t go back!

I have been going to the Dog room for years and my dog always comes out with a wagging tail looking beautiful in a new bandana! Yuri is fantastic and the service is amazing! Highly recommended but they are busy so be sure to book in advance it is worth the wait!!

Brought my puppy here for the first time go get his face trimmed by a groomer named Yuri and this place did not ask for any vaccines! His face trim was not done properly, some spots were completely avoided from cutting and uneven. He got a potty accident just from being there which is really unlike him, so that tells me how unsafe he must’ve felt with her. I also brought my 1 year old dog to get her face trimmed and the way she was treated was not pleasant. She proceeded to pull her hair aggressively and get mad at my dog from moving from the pain she was causing her. Once we got in the car I noticed the groomer had not wiped away any of the hairs left from the hair cut and they fell all over my seat. Definitely do not recommend and will not be returning!

I have been going to this shop for years and today they lost a loyal customer. I went to the ER and had to cancel my appointment and told the owner I’ll call back to reschedule when I am well enough and have a negative covid test. I was told today (my rescheduled appointment) I’d have to be charged for the original day and today because I cancelled. She never mentioned any of this on the phone. I have had rude comments made to me over the years that I have simply brushed off. I should have stopped going to her when she suggested I’m neglecting my dog. Anyone who knows me and my dog knows how completely ridiculous that sounds.. she is completely spoiled and loved. What made me also decide to find new groomers was as we walked up to her establishment today, my dog refused to walk and hid in between my legs. She never does that, even with strangers. Now I’m concerned as to what happened last time she was here and what is being done when I’m not looking. So today was the final straw. I was content for years, but I realized today there are much better options. The new service we found is already much more friendly and we just met them today.

First they referred to him as a she so I wondered how well he was bathed if they didn’t see under him .. not to mention his name is “Ditka” but the worse thing is his nails which was the most important part to me … I’m attaching a photo

Kay does such an amazing job work my dogs. She has the patience of a saint and I trust her completely with my boys. I am always so happy with their haircuts. The price is also incredibly reasonable.

I have been going to this place for over 5 years. I put my trust in to them, but after today, my dog is never going there again. I have noticed them cutting him, to the point he bled a bit but accidents happen right? They made me wait 2 weeks for my appointment and i left work early only to find out they wont take him because hes a mess since his hair grew long. He had surgery and wasn't able to go in earlier but she didn't seem to understand that and refused to get him groomed. When to went to a different place, they had no problems with grooming him.

So sad I have been going there for years with all my dogs + recommended so many people. I had to cancel because I had an emergency at work. And they requested a $25 cancelation fee. The haircut is $45. So together that would be $70 for a little tiny Yorkie haircut? That’s more then my own hair! CRAZY! Not to mention how rude and disrespectful they were about it. Completely NOT understanding at all. I have had about enough! I have been going there for over 15 years and that’s how they treat a returning customer. Unbelievable I went to Petco for the same price plus got a free teeth cleaning no problem, super nice, and no cancellation fees! People work and have families things always come up!

I took our newly adopted 7 month old pit/boxer there this morning. It was such a wonderful experience. Our other dog (who we recently had to put down) hated going to the groomer so we wanted to start our new pup at the groomer asap to get her used to it. Yuri was fabulous! Patient, kind and made our little Olive look (and smell) like a million bucks! We all left very happy, well except for Olive who didn't want to leave her new friend. Yuri actually walked us out so she would get into the car...now that's service!
